I cant testify to the taste of the food, because we didnt even get that far. Walked in, waited in line, and when it came to ordering, my wife asked for the Jerk Chicken. "Were out," was the entire length of the reply. Since my wife and I stopped in mainly because she wanted some jerk chicken, my wife said, "All right, thanks," and turned to leave. As we were walking out the door, the girl behind the counter called out "You shouldve come earlier." My wife stopped and pointed out that some folk have to work on the weekend, at which point the girl responded with, "We close at 6, our chef is gone for the day, you should have come earlier." Note that we arrived at 5:15, 45 minutes before closing time, and the time we arrived had nothing to do with their cook having left before closing time. More to the point, what sort of place has employees who actively try to blame guests for the restaurant runs out of food? Absolutely horrid behavior, and a guarantee that I will never set foot in the place again.

AWEFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i ordered by phone some cocktail patties on thursday 7p... for friday pick up. When i arrived friday evening my order was sold to another customer .and i barely got an apology ..manager blamed me bc his staff erroneously wrote pick up in afternoon ...so they sold it at 1pm ...bc that is AFTER noon ...i kid u not ..thats the reason i was given ...he said afternoon means AFTER noon lol .....remember now ...i nvr said afternoon anyhow ...ok i then reordered the same 5dozen for Saturday morning pick up...stopped on my way to my event saturuday ..paid got to car ..only TWO dozen was in box even tho they charged me for the FIVE dozen i ordered ...walked back inside....i was just dismissed with my refund. ...same manager said thats all he had .....not sure why ...no explanation why i was charged for 5. ..no remorse .. just dismissed ...HORRIBLE service recovery..i was in shock

The food was horrible I never been of fan of golden crust from day one its just being Jamaican its always my last resort but Ive never ever eaten anything at golden crust that I was please with EVER they cant cook I believe its a bad representation of Jamaican food and Ive lived in several states and ate from several different golden crust. Today December 31 2016 I bought breakfast ackee and salt fish 1 there was no salt fish in it lol and the ackee taste horrible which I kinda expected but not this bad! And to top it off 2 there were (2) long strands of hair in the food i have pics and vids to prove it Ive never ever rated or commented on anything before ever so I guess this really shows my displeasure with the food and the services!!! Please people try to find a mom and pops Jamaican restaurant they cook better food not ALL but must do.

Food was good,but customer service the man was rude and food is pricey/too fattening.I paid over $20(not knowing any of the meat/plankton pricing),first time here) They trick you into getting something(did not want rice but had no choice to replace it,I wanted macaroni), and he did not give me enough information about the price or what was in the food(was about to get jerk chicken that was really spicy)until he put it on my plate.He told me after and he threw a good plate away because he did not give enough info about it.I can tell he was getting upset because I was asking questions about the food.When I get to the cashier he was about to ring me up for $33 something knowing that wasnt the price until I caught it.My first time here and wont be back....

FOOD IS OK AND IV BEEN TO PLENTY OF DIFFERENT CARIBBEAN RESTAURANTS. THIS ONE HAS GREAT PATTIES, OK FOOD, SUPER PRICY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! IVE BEEN 3 TIMES AND THE LAST TIME I JUST SAID FORGET IT I WONT BE BACK,TO MAKE THE LONG STORY SHORT. JUST KNOW IF SHANNELLE IS THERE ITS GOING TO BE HORRIBLE SERVICE, SHE WILL THROW YOUR FOOD TOGETHER ON YOUR PLATE SHE WILL TALK/SPIT OVER YOUR FOOD AND SHE WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE AMOUNT OF FOOD YOU PAY FOR AND I PAID $20.31 FOR ONE PLATE THAT FEED ONE PERSON UGHH USELLY WHEN YOU SPEND THAT ON ONE PLATE ITS ENOUGH FOR 2,BUT THATS NOT WHY THEY GOT 2 STARS THEY GOT 2 BECAUSE THEY REALLY DO HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

MADD STINGY WITH THERE YAMS !!! IF WE ARE PAYING CUSTOMERS THEN WE SHOULD GET WHAT WE WANT TALL FAT ONE LIED AND SAID THEY HAD NO YAMS WHEN YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE YAMS ON THR COUNTER BUT THATS OKAY I WILL TAKE THE DRIVE NEXT TIME TO THE STONE MOUNTAIN ONE !!! This restaurant is a welcome addition to the McDonough area. We were in desperate need of a Caribbean restaurant that could prepare food that consistently tasted great. The food is flavorful and consistent. I am a big fan of the stew chicken and oxtails. The staff is friendly and the restaurant and tables are always clean.

Golden crust McDonough location is extremely stingy with there food. I have been to many locations and they are the CHEAPEST!! Ive bought food 3 times from them and i will NEVER go back.I told my boyfriend to bring me back oxtails.He comes back with FOUR!! pieces of oxtail and a few scoops of rice

Very bad customer service.I was told I could order breakfast for take out . So I called. I was put on hold twice for over 10 minutes then after waiting for them to finally come back to the phone told they were no longer serving breakfast. Really!!!
