Ive eaten here several times, and the food is good, but tonight we ordered a super bowl for carry out. When we got home, there was 1 full cup of mushrooms, only 6 pieces of each kind of meat, and the rest was rice. Usually there is plenty of meat. I called to complain about the lack of meat, and asked the manager for a credit. I was told they could only switch the meal out, and would have to drive 20 mins back to the store to exchange it, and then 20 mins back home, and it was already 8:20pm. As much as I have eaten here and spent over the pasts years, this was very disappointing. It seems their prices continue to rise, and the amount of food you receive has decreased over the years. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received tonight.

This place is owned by the same people who run the Sushi House, so the menus are similar. However the chef is more skilled and pays attention to detail. That, and having a larger place allowed them to expand in quality in ways they couldnt while renting the Sushi House building. For example, they have a torch for some of the food. The sushi was great, and they even have deep fried icecream (in tea flavor to chocolate!) Im really happy with the quality and price. The sushi house is still great but Ill only use that place for pickup now. Kyotos has a better atmosphere for sitting down and enjoying yourself. The staff is just as attentitive and friendly as the Sushi House.

Love the Sushi here...it is reasonably priced and always made to order. The bowls are great as well. The miso leaves something to be desired, I think its just prepackaged and since we make miso from scratch at home it doesnt compare...but everything else is great. Make sure to join there loyalty card because you get $5 off for every $50 you spend. The only thing is I wish there was more booth seating...it might be arbitrary, but I love a good booth.

Actually, the person who wrote the review below is mistaken. I know the owner of Kyoto Express personally, and they do NOT own Sushi House. On a side note, my favorite at Kyoto Express is their chicken bowl and california roll. Absolutely love it! The restaurant is very clean and the owners are always there making sure everything is pristine. Superb!

Year ago was one of best in Brunswick to eat. Service is still good but quality of food has declined noticeably. If you complain they argue with you like you dont know what youre talking about, (chicken to tough to eat) today was charged .50 cents extra for Wasabie (? ) thought that is a common condiment. Ill find other places to dine.

One of my fiances and my favorite restaurants in Brunswick. The food is great and they only seem to be improving, they recently updated the tables, chairs and look but the food has stayed the same and is still amazing. Their sweet teas is also one of my most favorite sweet teas in Brunswick.

I love this place the food is awesome, good customer service, and they also have a program where if you spend $50 you get $5 off your next visit. But it can get a little crowded for a sit down dinner inside because its kinda small and stays busy.

Line was pretty long when I walked in (Monday 7pm) and they had enough cashiers to take care of everyone quickly. Manager was extremely friendly and threw in a bunch of extra sauces.

The quality has declined some over the years, the sushi isnt worth the price and the bowls are average. The rice in the bowls is one of the best parts, along with their ginger sauce.
