Restaurant looks a little undecorated but i usually have high hopes about Indian restaurants, its my favourite cuisine, however a few things really stood out about this restaurant compared to other indian restaurants in the area. - The service was very non attentive and slow. It took a while for us to get asked for our order and when the friend i was with asked for a coke it took 3 times to inform the server before we finally got it and it was WARM very off-putting! - The food took a good 25 minutes to come out - Good portion sizes and the food was good on my end but not outstanding. My friend had lamb on the bone for his tikka masala. Usually in my experience with this dish it comes boneless. Overall it wasnt terrible but it was bad. I wont be returning.

If I could give this place no stars I would. The service was not that great because the only staff on the floor was one person who was the greeter, waitress, and the one in charge of giving the checks. Secondly almost everything we tried to order was unavailable. The waitress kept going to the back to see if they had certain items that were on the menu and then would return only to tell us it was not available. This occurred with more than 3 meals. We finally had to get up and go to outback which was directly across because it seemed as though the kitchen had no food...but it was a restaurant. Do not come here.

Good, fresh, and tasty South Indian cuisine. Service is good, and the staff is out to please. Food is a little spicy, but only a couple of things in a wonderful, generous, and delightful Sunday buffet were too spicy for an American taste. The appetizers were a real treat.The main dishes were all well-cooked, and flavorful. Would, and have, recommended it to a number of people. Have taken friends and relatives. Lots to eat for me, a vegetarian, but took the family, who are not veggie, and they all enjoyed the solicitous service, and delicious food.

I saw this place one day and decided to try it out, I ordered the goat curry mild but instead was given the spicy goat curry. It was so spicy that I couldnt even taste the food so I couldnt even tell you if it was good or not. I also ordered the garlic naan which was amazing by far the best naan I have ever had. I wish I could have given it more stars but like I said I couldnt taste the food because it was so spicy. I will give this place one more shot hopefully they can get it right next time.

Very nice restaurant and buffet. Good variety of foods and sauces. Food is very fresh and tasty. The gentleman at the register was very helpful and kind with explaining the different dishes to me as I am a novice to Indian food. I dont like spicy food so some of the dishes were a bit too spicy for my taste but everything was fresh and delicious! There arent many Indian restaurants in the area and this place is a little gem!

For some reason, I felt that they did not get the biryani recipe right. It is more on a drier/bland side. Initially, I thought it was just me or that day, but I tried it again and felt the same. For having the word biryani in the restaurant name, I expect to get an authentic taste, but it was just average and I couldnt even finish all of it.

This restaurant/bar is up and coming. The food is good. You get a lot for the money. The portion size is large. Amazing price. But what makes this place great besides the price is the customer service. Hari, at the bar is your guy. Knowledgeable, funny and will take care of you. I would recommend anyone to give this place a try.

I placed a food order 2 hours ago and these people didnt even attempt to deliver my food. I called them 3 times and they still havent sent the food to me. This is the first time I have ever experienced this from a resturant. This is my first time in new york. I dont think its going so well.

Best Indian food I had in NY so far. I applaud their attempt to keep it authentic which Indians like me would appreciate but some of my American friends would find that too spicy for their taste. If anyone is looking for authentic Indian taste, they should visit this place.
