I cannot say enough horrible things about this place. I dont normally write reviews but am definitely taking the time for this one. I have been to this place several times. A few months ago, one of the owners saw me out and asked why I havent been back and I told him because the service and food is horrible. He asked me to give them another chance so I tried. First thing, we had to wait almost 20 minutes to be greeted at our table. Next we ordered calamari for an appetizer and was brought shrimp. When the calamari finally arrived, there was a small layer of calamari on the top with mostly lettuce in the bowl. Against my better judgement, I ordered steak and eggs. I had done this before and it came out well done. Same thing happened yesterday. The steak was truly black it was so well done. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and got them over hard. My friend ordered a waffle with fried shrimp. A guy from the kitchen who should not have been allowed on the floor came to our table and asked if they could sub pancakes because they were having issues with the waffle maker. They brought him 3 pancakes with literally 4 pieces of shrimp for $19. It was only after I had to get up 20 minutes after I sent my food back and approach the manager myself that our food was comped. Horrible service, horrible food, the only thing they have going for them is Big Tigger spinning music for a decent atmosphere. If you are looking to do brunch in that area, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Go to BQE, Poor Calvins, Negril Village.... even Waffle House is 100% better than Sweet Auburn Seafood. Oh, I forgot to mention several tables around us were also very upset. A couple in our same area had been waiting for their food for well over 45 minutes and people who were sat after them got their food pretty quickly. Then another couple next to us were complaining about the service and time it took to get their food and how horrible it was. Managers need to be more active and involved with the wait staff and what is happening.

I brought my mother and her friends here for her birthday and the experience people are raving about was just alright for us. The environment is great although it was a little warm but its 100 in Atlanta today. I can accept that. When my drink finally came, it was declined although some of my party didnt like theirs at all. We waited awhile for our appetizers(over 30 min), and of course longer for our food. I ordered the seafood burger to play it safe with sweet potato fries and steamed spinach. The spinach was cold, flavorless, and staged and the burger was decent at best. The sauce as the sweet potato fries were awesome! My mother ordered the crab and was satisfied. That was my main corcern but the experience as a whole rubbed me the wrong way. A few other is our party ordered the crab cakes which are more of crab croquettes. The lobster mashed potatoes does not have lobster in it and were like warm. One person in our party was so displeased with her food, she didnt order anything again and walked to grab some pizza. She originally ordered the pasta and it came soaked in oil. We sent several items back. Our server was Yasmine, she wasnt friendly nor did she look happy to be at work. When she delivered the wrong drinks the first time, we were okay. Mistakes happen. The second time, she didnt even acknowledge her mistake. She disappeared for long periods of time after her very short appearances. Upon delivering out food, she slid it on the table, almost spilling on our clothes. She just lacked customer service. We spoke to the manager 2 times and the sorry we got just wasnt enough. I appreciate him for listening and even saying sorry but it wasnt enough.. I like to give people and things a second shot but I doubt if I return.

THEY SERVED ME HALF DONE CHICKEN!!! Well...went with a group of six other ladies, two more arrived later. I wasnt ready to order my entrée when everyone else ordered, asked waiter to give me a few minutes, but go ahead & bring me a bowl of she crab soup in the meantime, which tasted ok. After a while, & a few times of me letn the waiter know that Im ready, everyones food started arriving. I let him know once again. A waitress came & took the orders of the two ladies that had just arrived to sit with us, so I placed my order with her. Still, when their food arrived, I had no order. Now, this is over an hour by now, & when I expressed my concern, 1 person told me that it was still cooking (I ordered salt & pepper chicken with rice & a side of spinach), another waiter told me to calm down because they are trying to accomodate me by possibly not charging me for it. But clearly, if I was being accommodated I would have gotten my order taken/served along with everyone else, I didnt come to get a "free" meal. Finally it came out, of course in a to go box, still had to go back & get the spinach, but ok, whatever at this point. Our original waiter did apologize, blaming it on someone who asked him to wait another table, but ok. BUT HERES THE KICKER: Got home to eat, & couldnt becaus my chicken wasnt even done! Smdh..but I guess Im supposed to be "ok" with that since it was "free". But IM NOT. I could have gotten sick, good thing I was paying attention. My time was truly wasted at that restaurant that night. I will NEVER return.

Lots of celebrities seem to eat here. I am sure their experience is far better than mine. But here goes: Paid $5.00 to Valet Park. No big deal. Ordered the Louisian on the menu. The entree was nothing like its description. I literally received 2 medium shrimp, a half of a half of about 2 inches of andouille sausage cut into two strips and a very short thinly cut strip of bell peppers. On one whole side of my rectangular shaped plate were finely chopped french fry potatoes in little squares. This covered half my plate and was no where in the description. I also had an English muffin on the other side with the 2 shrimp etc as described above on top of the very dry English muffin. There were two poached eggs on top of the 2 shrimp. The English muffin was not in the menu description. I expected to get a reasonable portion (at least half plate) of a delicious well sauteed shrimp dish with finely chopped tomatoes, bell pepper and sausage in a sauce with the poached egg and tabasco hallanaise on top. Instead, it appeared someone threw a dish together to make an entree they were not prepared to serve. A simple "we dont have that today" would have been fine. I wish this place the best. But please know that when people spend their money, they expect the product advertised and not just something thrown together. I Will not return here to eat. Very disappointed. We told the waiter. All he said was " I am sorry. I will let the manager know" then brought us our full priced check! Outdone!

We had a reservation, but still waited nearly an hour to be seated. While we were waiting to be seated, one of the hostess told us our table was being cleared off. We waited another 20 minutes after that. The place was packed with people, but the space and arrangement of the restaurant is not suited for it. So youre constantly sliding past and bumping people. The owner did notice wed been waiting and took initiative to assist us with being seated. Our server, Derek, was professional, however, not very friendly. He did get our orders correct. We did get an excellent table near the band. The live band, Trey Daniels, was fantastic and helped the experience. I was impressed that our server did know the name of the band when I asked him. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. It tasted fantastic. I do think it was overpriced for the portion size I received and was not pleased that I left still hungry. The overall ambience is very nice and well decor. The bathrooms were still neat and clean, even though it was near the end of the night. I did like seeing security monitoring outside when we left. This was my first time here and I came as a recommend from a friend that loved the place. Dont see myself returning. Definitely would steer clear on a Friday or Saturday night.
