Best Food ON THE NORTHSHORE! I have tried their fried and boiled seafood. The boiled crawfish , shrimp and crabs are always cooked and seasoned great!!And really love the giant seafood platter!!! It has everything!! I also love the red beans and rice and the meatballs and spaghetti. Me and my husband love to eat here on our date night every week! The atmosphere is so nice and clean and New Orleans music sets the mood! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious fresh food with a classy New Orleans appeal!

Food has been awesome .macaroni and roast beef my new favorites! To go food needs work...missing items a couple of times...nothing worst than that! Loved the outside seating we ate outside but was a little confused about the service...would have hung out longer for some extra "canebrake" yes they have a good beer selection...no service outside...my thoughts full service would up your sales and the hours are odd...8pm and Im on a hunt for hot sausage poboy! Bummed yall were closed at 8!

We decided to try this place for lunch. The presentation of the restaurant was great. Details and the atmosphere were good. The service was prompt but wasnt very personable. The food was the biggest letdown for the price. The shrimp poboy had just enough shrimp to cover the bread and lightly flavored. The roast beef was seasoned ok and the onion rings were just basic. Overall the food amount/flavor coupled with the price is what made this a two star.

Creole trout is extremely dry. When asked server if it was supposed to have garlic butter sauce (as per menu) was told that the fish is cooked in a garlic butter sauce. Not sure how thats possible because it had a dry seasoning,and tasted nothing of garlic or butter. But rest assure I was told by the server that it was not dry. I will never spend another dime in this place. #rantover

We came in on a Sunday around 2 for some boiled crawfish. Crawfish was cold. When we commented that it was cold we were told the owner only boils once a day. The Crawfish had been sitting in a bucket at the front counter since 11. We deciding to try this restaurant out since its close to our house but we will drive to the place the Mandeville from now on.

I order the swamp pasta with alligator sausage. It was very bland. I wish it had more seasoning. The sausage was good though. They do give you A lot of food! The fried Oreos are to die for! They came about 6 each I believe. I will probably try it again instead of the pasta plates. The workers are really friendly also.

First thing i loved about this place was the music and the new orleans theme, until i tried the food! It is awesome! Best tasting seafood ever! Everything is so fresh and can definitely taste that its all made from scratch! I havent ate anything that i didnt like yet. One of my favorite places on the northshore!

Pros: Great food, great service. Rarely ever crowded, so theres always a table available. Con: Only con I can think of is that they dont offer table service. Youre required to order at the counter and take a number. Could be improved.

Brian (owner) has a gem. Loved the oyster po-boy, the shrimp and corn bisque and the gumbo, too. Shoot, the french bread was fresh. Great location and super staff. You know everytime I get to the Northshore I will be stopping by.

The first time I ate there my oysters did not have any seasoning in the batter, but the portions were generous. I decided to try them again tonight. The shrimp poboy was excellent. The crab balls were to die for. Will be back !

Great atmosphere, music, decor and the food was awesome. I had seafood gumbo, potato salad french bread and onion rings. All of it was good! This is the first place on the northshore that can do all these well that Ive been to.
