Vende comida hecha 3 o 4 dias atras, buena atencion de las empleadas0 pro son muy explotadas por la duena, les paga menos del minimo, las hace trabajar mas de 8 horas diarias sin dia de descanso, las ofende y maltrata verbalmente...usualmente aprovechandose de el estatus migratorio y oor si no fuera suficiente?..les roba mas de la mitad de las propinas a sus empleadas...diario.....no recomiendo este lugar

Town and Country has been transitioning into a predominantly Latino neighborhood for twenty years. Mi Patria is one of many examples why this has not been a bad thing. They are open seven days a week and the café con leche and crochettas cannot be beat. For my money, this is the best stop for breakfast on the go. Their warming cases are filled with tasty meat filled pastries and South American sausages. They also offer freshly squeezed sugar cane and citrus juices. The only caveat that the hungry gringo might want to heed is to brush up on your Spanish phrase book. The staff and clientele are primarily Colombian. Everyone there is friendly and accomodating but you will enjoy your visit a lot more if you can muster a "dos pasteles de carne y con leche pequeño."

Love their Colombian empanadas and the hot sauce that comes with them. $1.00 each. Who can beat that? Although I dont speak Spanish, they are all very friendly and attentive. My kids love to bring Mi Patrias empanadas to "Fiesta Day" at school.
