Im from California and for those of you who havent been there it is the mecca for good Mexican food (aside from going to Mexico of course). Most of the Mexican Restaurants in town are glorified Taco Bells and while many people in town really like Chipotle as their Mexican food place of choice I challenge you to try this place and see if youll go back to the other place ever again. Reasons why this place is better: 1. Corn tortillas-yes people real tacos are made with corn tortillas and this place has them. Oh and if you are avoiding gluten in your diet then corn tortillas will work. 2. Meats-they have a larger selection (i.e. steak, barbacoa, fish, chorizo+potato, pastor (bbq pork). One other note, they dont weigh the amount of meat portions on your food unlike the other place that mainly fill your burrito or bowl full of rice and beans. 3. Condiments-Guacamole or sour cream sure thing, how much more for that...nada. Yes those "upgrades" are included in your meal ticket (as it should be at all mexican restaurants). 4. Service-If you prefer being treated like cattle and placed in a line only to finally get your food and find limited seating in a super noisy place then this is not the place for you. These guys are fast and there is always seating. Oh yeah, they also have a pretty good salsa bar too. 5. Taco Tuesday-Tacos are $1 on tuesdays after 5pm. Seriously the BEST bargain in town for eating out on Tuesday hands down. There you have it folks, dont believe me in anything mentioned here then by all means go give them a try and comment on anything I said was wrong. P.S. their quesadillas are pretty damn big so come prepared with an appetite

Friend and I went here to try and expand our horizons. We both used the hooked app to get a deal- 4 tacos for $6 (the non-deal price is 3 for $6). Its a Moes-style build your own type ordering system. My friend and I both got chicken tacos, then told them what toppings we wanted as we moved down the line. Food was really good and tasted homemade and fresh, unlike some other chain restaurants where the food tastes as though it came out of a can or bag. Atmosphere and staff were lovely, and overall was a quality experience. Well be back again!

The mark of a good ethnic restaurant is the kitchen staff and the people that eat there. Mexican cuisine made by Mexicans for Mexicans makes for good food. Moes and Chipotle are corporate imposters if you want the good stuff eat here. They have authentic drinks from South of the border and a variety of delicious salsas and other toppings and all for very reasonable prices. I eat here at least once a week and am always satisfied.

Second best tacos in Tallahassee, only beaten out by La Tiendita. A adaptation of the Chipolte fast casual model with a lot of different options for dishes (Bowls, Burritos, Salads, Tacos, etc) that still serves authentic Mexican food; gringo-friendly options as well! Try the papas con chorizo with pico and cilantro. Bonus: Salsa bar with a ton of variety and plenty of different spice levels.

They usually serve down the line like you see in a Chipotle or Moes, but I requested all the ingredients separate because I was taking it home for my roommates and one of them is Vegan. They were awesome and made it happen. They do regularly sell their meats by weight so if you just want a bunch of chicken or beef for homemade tacos/burritos stop by here and give them a shot!

Amazing place with deliciously seasoned Mexican grub. This place has me coming back to it just about every week. Not to mention, the prices cannot be beat by any other Mexican place that Ive been to in town. Echalee, please dont ever go away. I dont know what I would do.

Drove all the way here for the Greek place next door but seeing that this place had better reviews, decided to come here instead. Food is ok, however, meat is dry, not really authentic Mexican style and guacamole tastes like they made it a week ago. Wont be coming back

What a deal! This is the best Mexican food Ive had in a long time. The three tacos meal is huge you can pick three different meats, including all the authentic Mexican choices. I highly recommend this place.
