Yesterday my fiance and I went to hoptinger for the first time ever. I absolutely fell in love with this beautiful place and the staff! Melissa was our bartender, she was so informative, attentive, and just such an awesome beautiful young girl. I have a gluten allergy she was able to not only suggest food items but introduced me to new liqours that I can have! I was very impressed with her knowledge and this is the first time in my 31 years meeting a bartender that took their time to teach me about gluten free alcohol. I didnt even have to ask, she took initiative to just show me, i can tell she really enjoys her job and she is very good at it. The manager Kathy was so sweet and walked around just checking on guests and introducing herself. She was a really sweet woman. The food was phenominal! It came out quickly and was fresh and warm, props to the chef!! My overall experience was amazing and if i could rate a 10 I would! I will definatley be bringing family and friends back, I hope Melissa is there she was so awesome! I just moved here this is now my favorite spot!

Maybe we just picked the wrong day and Sunday is not the day to go. The place look just a little past dead. The bar was only 1/3 full and we made the 5th table. My point is plenty of open area for people to come and be served, not busy at all. We were seated immediately, that was great. We had never been here before so decided on drinks and an appetizer that sounds good after going over the menu. Still waiting to see a server when my toddler say he needs to potty. Come back after a trip to the restroom and still no one has come by to take our drink order. Dont know why it was taking so long but we ended up leaving after over 10 mins of no service.

Used to be the place to be. Now just a mess. Bartender to busy with her friends and drinking to bother waiting on customers. Beer tasted like metal. When I told her she stuck her straw in and started drinking it. The amazing burgers are now extremely disappointing. Took over an hour to get the bartender to take our good order and I had to go find her just to do that. Ordered 2 shots and got one 30 mintues later. This is sad I loved this place. The only reason Im not giving it a 1 is because the manager was busting his butt trying to cover her mess ups. F-

Dinning in was excellent so delicious I decided to order take out pride evening and was not so pleased. I ordered a kids chicken tenders which were way over cooked along with the French fries they were severely over cooked I also ordered the blueberry bread pudding, which I was not informed that there was ice-cream that came with it and the ice cream was not in its own container just plopped in there and was completely melted by the time I got to my hotel two mins away from hoptinger. I was very displeased

From the viewpoint of being a visiting Californian, most of the taps are CA breweries! Looking for local stuff? They have about 5 out of their 80 taps that are FL breweries. The service is very poor most of the time having to get one of the other servers to get the attention of our server. The place is starting to look worn and unkept with dirty bathrooms and furniture that needs repair. Stop by for the sample of 5 FL beers and go somewhere else for games and bathrooms.

This place is awesome! Been a few times now and have never been let down. They have a million different beers and "pub grub" that get washed down perfectly with the great beer. On my last trip, I went with a beer flight and the "Rise and Shiner" bratwurst, complete with a fried egg and thick slice of bacon. Ive tried their burgers and several sides and havent had something I didnt find delicious. Definitely worth the stop for a cold beer and delicious bite!

Went there when they first opened with my roommate. Ordered a chilly dog and my roommate a salad. After waiting for about an hour and the place not being packed we got disappointed. The food was nothing special and when i told the server after asking how it was he got the manager over and he got us doing a whole survey about the food while we were trying to eat. Another friend of mine got sick the next day. Ive heard lots of reviews..this is mine.

Everything was going fine untill it took almost 40 minutes for our food to come out and it was done wrong. Made it very clear to the waitress that one of the burgers absolutely had to be well done or it wouldnt be eaten (my mother in law cant eat meat if its red at all). After waiting 40 minutes her burger came out medium rare and super pink inside. Not sure what happened if the waitress said she told the cook to triple check on her burger...

I fell in love with the food here. Visited for the first time last week and ordered the cheese heads and the brats in a blanket to start with and couldnt help to order another round. The drinks were good, but the food in my opinion was better. The staff here is really nice and the restaurant itself is massive with big windows all along the walls. Definitely cant wait to visit here again!

Definitely better than average pub fair, but in a totally casual bar type setting. Great burger, really good char on the patty, and the mac and cheese side has a flavourful twist that makes it outstanding. The international beer selection challenges you to try something new. The live band after 8:30 really livens the place up; I only wish I could have stayed longer.

I spent election night parked in front of one of the giant TVs watching the results roll in when it dawned on me: everyone should vote for hot dogs, seasoned fries and cold beer. Chill environment with lots of options for down to earth grub. They host trivia on Tuesday nights - there is nothing more American than brats, beers and bringing friends out to have fun.

After half an hour we blocked the isle with a chair, still no waitress. Waved our menus, got a few smiles, still no waitress. Got beer from the bar, almost finished it, still no waitress. Hostess asked if we had a waitress yet, we said no, still no waitress. Ordered food from the bar, bartender is now our waitress. Chair still blocking the isle.

As my husband just said, that was a superior lunch experience. We had the Hoptinger Chicken and the Ambulance Driver. The horseradish kale was especially good, and everything was good or better than what you would expect. For desert we got the Blueberry Bread Pudding with ice cream... and it was every bit as good as we hoped.

I have been there a few times. Each time has been a great experience. Great food, drinks and service. They have only been open for a couple of months now, so thats where I am guess the other negative reviews are coming from. Give them time to work all the kinks out. Definitely will go back. Great atmosphere!
