Actually, I have been going to Belly Busters since the 1980s (two owners ago) and enjoy the food, as long as I eat it periodically (lot of fat and calories to digest)! So I went to get something to eat late. I knew BB was open until 9 p.m. (even though it says 9:30 p.m. on the web), so I rushed over there. I got there at 8:48 p.m. today (Thursday, January 8). As soon as I drove in, the lights got turned down and a guy walks to the door and waives his hand under his chin (which presumably meant "were closed" or "go away"). Look, if you arent doing much business later at night, change your hours. Doing stuff like this just pisses off the regulars and loses money for the owners ($10 + dollars for only 10 more minutes of being open). If the owner was not present, I want him/her to know about this, because their employees are costing them money and damaging their reputation. Would have e-mailed the owners directly if BB had an e-mail address, but I couldnt find one.

Came into Belly Busters because Ive heard good things about their sandwiches. Walked into the restaurant, placed my order, that they were hesitant to take, and was told that because its slow they are closing early and we would have to sit outside. Well sitting outside on this particular day wasnt an option due to the looming storm. The owner had some friends there that ordered subs and were allowed to sit inside and refill their drinks...Overall experience with the staff was pretty crappy...if you want people to go somewhere else try putting up a sign that says closed or sorry we are lazy and dont want to clean up after anyone else or something....Ill probably never go here again

One of my go-tos. Years ago, new management came in, changed things, and not for the best. Theyve since rolled back most/all of those changes, and this place is back to where it should be. Great food, pretty quick service, friendly-ish staff. Dining inside is limited to a few tables, but they have outdoor tables - granted, during the peak of a hot day, you dont want to eat outside. Food is great; I personally recommend the sausage/egg/cheese sub and the bacon cheeseburger (get it all the way, with the coleslaw on it. Yummy time!)

Went in to get two belly busters. Not only did the get the order wrong, but their customer service was horrible. The cook was giving me shitty looks from over the counter and the cashier basically dropped my food onto the counter and left. No, "have a nice day. Come again." No, "Thanks, see you next time." More like a physical gesture of, "heres your food get the f**k out". I paid 26 dollars for a wrong order, and crappy service when they werent even remotely busy. Great job Belly Busters.

Went in last night at 7:43 to get 3 ham and cheese subs. Guy looks at his sub station says" I dont have it.. We close in 5 minutes" Well no you close in almost 20 minutes and if you dont have ham could you offer something else? No you just reach over and flip off your open sign. Rude!! Supported this place for many years....

Outstanding place to eat. Im very excited to announce Belly Busters strong return is real. I recently ordered a steak and cheese (most famous they had when I was a kid) and found it mouth wateringly good. The addition of slaw, pickles and some aioli really brings out the stellar samich. I WILL return here again and again..

Ive never been to Philly but I can promise you the cheese steak here will give em a run for their money. Hands down the best cheese steak I have had. You have to get it all the way with the slaw pickles and sauce. Just wish I didnt have to drive all the way to DeLand to get one.

The food is good but the people leave a whole lot to be desired! They have left me on hold every single time I have called. They deliver when they feel like it and other times you have to go get it. It seems to me that the owner will be his own worst enemy.

A great restaurant with a wonderful Gyro, among other delicious sandwiches such as the steak and cheese, and wonderful baklava. They also have a stamp card, buy 12 get one free. The owners are friendly and have brought the restaurant back to its awesome roots.

Worth going to. Always have the steak and cheese with mayo and mushrooms and steak fries. Best ever!! Have eaten all over the world. This place is one you dont want to miss. Small place with nothing to oooh and ahh about except the steak and fries.

This place just changed owners and now the Phillys are smaller and less meat and A LOT more expensive! It was definitely better with Buddy as the owner!! Dont get me wrong they make the best Philly I have ever had, but it will cost ($$) you!!

Best gyros and philly steak subs ever. I cant go more than a couple of weeks without having them. Everything else is fantastic as well. I cannot overstate the gyros, everyone Ive ever inteoduced to them has gotten hooked.

Not the best place to get lunch if you have a time constraint. Decent cheese steaks. Got the wrong cheese steak once with coleslaw on it and the taste was surprisingly ok.
