Standalone Chinese restaurant in front of strip mall on route 19 place was empty. when we went in there we got the menu from the owner my wife asked him what you recommend, what do you recommend ? Chinese girl sitting at the table barked some Fukian at him and he said " its all good." OK thats enough for me! She ended up working behind the counter with her brother They have every combo of beef, chicken, pork shrimp rice all sorts of appetizers. We ordered a large beef with broccoli, beef lo mein and chicken teriyaki with fried rice . It came out in about 15 minutes during that time a few other people came in, which was a good sign. The beef lo mein was good , had fresh beef and properly cooked fried noodles. The thicken teriyaki had good vegetables, broccoli, carrot mushroom , and even some Chinese bamboo. The beef and broccoli was a bit oily and had some very heavy brown gravy the fried rice was good had roast pork in it some small vegetables, rice wasnt overloaded with soy sauce. all in all a very good value, massive portions $22 could have fed 8 people recommend this place

My husband and I used to live in Port Richey and ate at Green Tea all the time, at least once a week! Now when we go back there to visit family we ALWAYS go there and eat! Not only is the food AMAZING but the prices cant be beat and you get a LOT of food!! We always order food for us to eat when were there and then we get some more the day we leave to take home with us because its just THAT good! I look forward to 2 things when we go to Port Richey...1 is to see my son and my sister and the other is Green Tea!! You wont be disappointed! The food is amazing and the people that run it are great, always nice! Even though we havent lived there in 4 years they still recognize us and remember what we like and how we like it cooked! That cant be beat! If youre in the area try their lunch specials! $3.79 for a huge box of food! You cant beat it! And the dinner prices are awesome too! You cant go wrong here, with great prices and amazing food!! Theres just no place like it around thats for sure!!

Went here on recommendation of my mothers friend since Im visiting. I will NEVER,EVER eat here again. I went inside to order, the place looks dirty rundown, disorganized, building in need of repair desperately. The girls at the counter seemed rushed but there wasnt anybody inside. A guy that worked there seemed annoyed by one a guy ( Im assuming he was owners relative of some sort) because he was busy working on his laptop instead of taking trash out or helping. Now onto the food. They only had one cook the food came out fairly quickly. They portion was ok. I got beef with broccoli combo. When I got home the rice was greasy, the peas in it were hard, the beef was chewy, and the broccoli was overcooked. Fast forward a few hours later.....I became ill. I do NOT recommend this place at all!!! Please be careful.

We are only visiting this area, and when we saw that this place was within walking distance from our hotel, we were stoked! We waited about 30 minutes to get our food (not a big deal at all) but when it came, it was so disappointing.. I ordered Kung Po chicken and the chicken was slimy and felt almost boiled.. My girlfriend got the sweet and sour chicken which comes as fried chicken with a side of what tastes like hot Hawaiian punch. The sauce was not spur or flavorful whatso ever, so we used the packets of duck sauce which were actually much tastier. Two "regulars"sitting next to us were heard saying "does this taste funny to you?".. Will update if we get food poisoning. I swear we are not food snobs at all. Its true that the Portions are huge but we honestly didnt even take them back with us.

Tried it out for the 1st time and not bad. I would never sit inside and eat but the kitchen looked super clean so I was ok with getting food to go. Tried the Crab Rangoon, sweet and sour chicken, and the house lo mein. Crab Rangoon was really good and I could taste the Crab meat. The sweet and sour chicken was good. It threw me off when the young lady at the counter asked me if I wanted white rice or not. If it comes with it why would I pay for something and have you not give it to me? The house lo mein was ok which is something I always get no matter what Chinese restaurant I go to. The noodles are a little overcooked and a little greasy. The flavor is good almost salty but still good. I would give it another try. Hopefully they will remodel the inside one day.

Absolutely amazing food and service! Today was VERY busy for them (as was other chinese restaurants near by). They pretty much ran out of a lot of theur noodles and rice and other meats. The young girl who worked there seemed a bit on edge with the busy orders, but maintained her sanity. Props to her for keeping her composure. She and everyone else who works there were working very hard to get their costumers orders finished and though I had to wait about 2 hours (like I said very busy day for them) I wasnt disappointed. Youd think because they are moving as fast as they can with orders it wouldnt turn out as good as a normal day, but the food is just as amazing and Im never disappointed when I go here. HIGHLY recommend for some really good Chinese Food!

Very questionable place! Its an old Taco Bell building and looks like there has been no remodeling since Taco Bell left. The ceiling tiles all have water damage and are falling out, a lot of them are missing. Mystery stains on the walls and a whole lot of junk placed everywhere like they live there. Their daughter runs the register and drive thru, she is about 11 or 12 years old. When there is no customers she is sitting at a table with her brother studying for school. The food is not that great. The chicken was dry and almost black, it looked like it was cooked hours before and then fried again to make it hot. The egg roll did not taste like egg roll, it was really disgusting. I think the health department needs to pay this place a visit!

This is my favorite Chinese place! It also conveniently has a drive through! You dont see that very often for Chinese food places. Ive never gone in, just use the drive through and there is a bit of a wait...but that is because they are making your food fresh to order for you! (WORTH IT). The lunch specials are from 11am to 3pm and are just under $4 ($3 and change) and come with enough food that you will be stuffed and have enough leftover for another meal! My kids love it too. They get the sweet and sour chicken fingers lunch special and split it between the two of them! That means theyre both full and satisfied for less than $2 each!

Dont let the humble appearance fool you. Green Tea offers the best Chinese food in the area, by far! The flavor is always consistently delicious, and the portions are big enough to take home leftovers. But the real reason to visit this place is the family that runs it. Served with attention and care, these nice folks have been in the area for years, and they are always a pleasure to see. So if youre looking for a fancy sit down generic chain restaurant, go elsewhere. But if youre looking for authentic, original tasty Chinese cuisine served with love, look no further than Green Tea!
