After just moving back to the area, and moving all day long my husband and I called and ordered take out tonight. It was 11:03 on a Monday night and we live very close by so we thought it would be quick and easy. First their customer service was terrible. The guy taking the order offered no help whatsoever. When inquiring about making substitutions on a garden salad, he just kept stating "the salads are pre-made, we cant do substitutions". Then we even tried asking if we could just order a caesar and add a few sliced tomatoes on the side and they still wouldnt accommodate us (even though they make sandwiches that arent pre-made so we know they have tomatoes there). We ordered our food, just my husband and I totalling $30, and were told 45minutes. An hour later no food, I called and the manager said "my driver has it hell be there any minute" no apology, no explanation. 15 minutes later and still nothing, we cancelled the order. Once again no explanation from the manager, no apology, no remorse. Very unprofessional, very rude! I should have read the reviews on this location prior to ordering. Honestly Ive dealt with waiting longer than quoted before, and with good customer service, an apology and some respect your customers would be more forgiving. But now I see why your reviews are so low, your employees have no desire to take care of your customers. We will spend our money elsewhere.

After reading the many negative reviews, I feel it is necessary to share my experience. I have ordered from the wing zone on 9th many many times, I dont know why Ive given them so many chances. The many times I have ordered from wing zone to be delivered to my place on Spink lane, which is only .2 miles away, I have waited for hours at the window waiting for my burger or whatever I got at the time, and everytime I call them to see whats up they tell me they tried to find my place but couldnt and moved on. I have given detailed instructions, I have constantly checked to see if they are outside, too no avail. Last time I ordered delivery from wing zone I sat outside my apartment and waited for the driver only 5 minutes after I placed the order, 1 hour goes by so I call the store, and the same excuse "we looked, but couldnt find your place". I told the person on the phone, I want to cancel my order, because this happens everytime, and they simply said "ok". I only live .2 miles away from the store, and sure I could walk up there, and get my food, but I prefer for it to be delivered, and would have paid for the extra charge for delivery had it shown up. Im not gonna lie if you can get past the horrible unorganized ordering system, or whatever it is for this store, they actually have some pretty damn good food.

Although the wings tasted ok. My order was delivered right under a hour. I dont mind waiting. The person that took my order said it would be about 45 minutes. However would I do mind is when I got my order my wings were barely warm. I reheated them because I was starving and they were. Ok . the celery looked like it had been cut a week ago and they failed to deliver the onion rings I ordered. So I called back to give this guy feed back who said he was the manager who sounded like the same guy I ordered from and told him what a thought. I told him I ordered at 10:37 (which my order ticket said) but my cc receipt said 11:10 (and had reprint) on it but it wasnt delivered till 11:25. The deliver driver asked to see my card to verify ( no big deal ) but wanted to imprint the last four digits on the receipt or write down my drivers license number??? I have ordered alot of take out food and have never had some ask for that information.. Verify by seeing the cc card and or license yes..but not take number. Although he did offer to send more wings out and replace my order Ive been around the restaurant industry long enough to not take...reordered food. I would not recommend this place at all. Very dissatisfied.

After reading the reviews, I am giving this place one star strictly because of the unprofessional responses from the owner. If someone wishes to boycott a store and write reviews about the company as a whole, they have that right. If you care about your business, you should be trying to make it up to your customers whom have obviously had terrible experiences. In addition, the fact that you divulged personal information about a previous employees termination and calling out their girlfriend in an extremely degrading post is unacceptable. I do not know what kind of business you think you are running, but personally just because of the unprofessional nature and childlike behavior of the "owner," you can forget about me ordering takeout tonight or any night, and I will indeed be sure to share a copy of our pathetic posts to everyone I know that is considering your business. I cannot even begin to believe what I have read. Targeting and degrading customers, and not even a response to those who have had issues. What a pathetic owner.

I used to love their wings about 5 years ago then last year I ordered the hot garlic? flavor and after eating them woke up in the middle of the night throwing my guts up. Went to the ER and the Dr. told me it sounded like food poisoning. Called the mgr. the next day and all I wanted him to do was to pay my ER bill (that is why they carry insurance) and he pretty much told me to go to hell. I called the health inspectors and they gave him a surprise visit and found three violations: uncooked wings on the floor,no paper towels in employee restroom,and improperly labeled cleaning supplies. He of course went to work and took care of it,but this info is available all online if anyone has a computer. If you want good wings then go to a Wingstop or the one on Navy Blvd. where the food is both safer and better tasting. My advice to the one on 9th ave is to level the old building that it is in and rebuild it.

I called looking for a simple chicken sandwich with lettuce tomato and mayo. They guy said "Ohh yea it all comes in our little commandment boxs". I asked if they could send extra and he said they would. The sandwitch and 30 wings came, totaling about $35, I open the sandwitch and there is no mayo, nor extra mayo, and the tomato looks like it was from last week. I called the store and they said "Well we can send mayo out in 20 minutes when the next deliverer goes out." I replied "20 minutes and all the food will be cold, and its rude to make my friends wait." I then asked what else they would do, she said "Theres nothing we can do, have a good evening, im sorry you didnt get any mayo." And then hung up. -poor customer service -good price for wings, but very low quality To say the least I will not be ordering from them again.

2 hours and 15 minutes and still no food. We called to see what deal was and were disconected after being on hold for 10 minutes. When I did get through the manager "Kelly" REFUSED to speak with me! This is unaceptable and I will be contacting the corporate office! I recommend that no one order from here, EVER! Far from happy! After the food FINALLY got here after 2 hours and 45 minutes it was horrible. Wings had no sauce at all. Burger was cold and swimming in grease. The bun was mush. Potato wedges were cold and soggy. I am disgusted and will never order from ANY Wing Zone ever again. I also reported one of your FB pages for not being a real person. Your food is crap and customer service is worse. Your manager should be fired!
