Chef Paul is awesome so, if and when you get your food, it is great. Service is not. You also get to stand akwardly at the host stand for several minutes to get seated while the host staff and manager seem like they are solving linear differential equations trying to figure out where to seat you when the restaurant is only a third full. Apparently they like you to wait while the hostess puts waters on a table before taking you to said table and if you prefer a different table they have you stand back at the host stand for several minutes while they resolve the equation and relocate your waters to a new table then they eventually retrieve you from your akward perch at the front of the restaurant. Servers do not know the menu and have not tried the food. That is the most basic rule of a "fine dining establishment". I want my server to be able to answer questions and/or make recommendations. The table behind my table left angry and never got their food. The table across from me waited over an hour for their food and were not happy, but stayed and were offered a "free" $5 dessert.

Ive lived in Panama City all my life. By far the best food I have ever had here. The server Brandon was great and all the staff was very professional and attentive! For the quality of food the price is reasonable! If you live or are visiting this area this is one place you have to go. I will definately be back and plan to make this my go to restuarant when I want to go upscale! All the food was wonderful. I had the lasagne and my wife had the pork chop! The beef appetizer was excellent and my wife stated it is as good as she had on a trip to Italy! She also had the Tirmasso for desert and she stated it was the best she ever had hands down. 5 Star quality for a 3 star price. Trust me you wont be disappointed!!!!!

Absolutely phenomenal. Best meal weve had in years. We were originally going to a different restaurant, but they were closed on our anniversary...so glad they were. The schedule brought us in, but the meal and experience will bring us back. Chef Pauls creations are creative and beautiful with great portions, and the sauces and dressings have numerous levels of flavors to experience. Emma (and support staff) provided exceptional service...she was always there for questions, anticipated needs and made the whole experience wonderful. Filet Bruschetta Potato Gnocchi* Caesar Salad She-crab Soup Dolce Chicken Scallops* Go. You wont be disappointed.

Food was good but the staff was sub par. We were barely acknowledged when we walked in by multiple employees near the door. We ordered and ate our apps before our drinks arrived. My son had a small piece of plastic in his food, but being in the business realize these happen, the staff there never will because we never saw our server again. The server in the station next to where we were sat cleared the dishes we had stacked from all the courses . We asked her for our check, the manager appeared to be eating and drinking with other guests. Very disappointing to spend nearly $200 to be ignored.

We went to Dolce last night with a party of 6. We were seated promptly and our waiter was very attentive. We all had something different and everyone enjoyed their choices. For the early negative review, give them a break, they had just opened and there are always a few obstacles to overcome. Its nice, being local to have another restaurant to take guests that is not a chain. The special last night was black grouper with potato gnocchi and spinach. It was delicious, as was my husbands lobster cioppino, with huge shrimp, clams, and mussels. We will be back.

Our waiter seemed nervous... But he was good in spite of that. Attentive but not in the way. Only minor service glitch was a wait for the Barolo - they were out of the one I ordered so they upgraded us - our lucky night. The rachine (fritters) were delicate and flavorful. My linguini with clams was excellent. A tiny bit of grit in one clam but hey. The marinara sauce was thick and hearty and flavorful. But the atmosphere is like Im back in Bonefish. I hope they will add more Mediterranean flair as they go on. But overall, bravo.

Excellent food and atmosphere! The 8oz filet was delicious, perfectly tender and the prociutto stuffed "dolce chicken" may be my wifes new favorite meal in all of PCB. Mike was our waiter and not only was he knowledgeable about the different wines and parings, but also super friendly! My wife and I have been looking for a nicer/"beach upscale" place to have date nights and this is definitely what we were looming for. Btw, the she-crab soup and the potato gnocchi were incredible and I highly recommend them as well.

Everyone in our group loved their meals and everything I tasted was fantastic! The gnocchi was cooked to perfection and the diver scallop risotto was impeccable. Our server was attentive, though not overly so, and the overall experience was top-notch. The bar service was a bit on the slow side, but it was a busy night so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. I will definitely dine here again and will recommend highly to visitors of the area.

Dolce Italiano has a great menu, wine selection, and amazing wait staff. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. A wonderfully intimate yet relaxed environment. The staff gave on point recommendations, the chefs prepared flavorful dishes that raised the bar on what Italian food should taste like. The portion size for value was excellent, we brought home food. We will definitely come back time and time again.

Seriously worth it, dont write a ton of reviews but I lasagna and it was AMAZING! I think our servers name was Brandon and he recommended a Prosuitto like meat appetizer and while we were skeptical he sold it to us, once again AMAZING. Brandon was great at his job and gave good service. From PC and we have really only one other local italian place, hope its around for the long run!

Very, very enjoyable experience, exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere and food were terrific. Everything we ordered was delicious and our server was very attentive. Highly recommend the appetizer mussels, Stilton Salad, Veal Marcella, Grouper and Fried Mozzarella. We will be back soon. We all have a new favorite restaurant in PCB.

Awesome! The food was excellent and the wait staff incredible..never an empty glass!!! We had scallops with risotto and grilled pork chops, risotto, and grilled asparagus. The portions were large and there was food still on my plate when we left because I could not finish it. To finish off the night a creme brûlée.

I had a great time at the Dulce Italiano last night. I was there for a birthday party and the food and staff were amazing. Chef Paul came over to wish my friend a happy birthday and to make sure that everything was perfect with the food and service. Ill certainly going back there again.

Best meal I had in my most recent trip to PCB. Had the chefs special appetizer that night which was a baked mozzarella and prosciutto, and the lasagna. Paired with a fantastic Montepulciano. Damn, Im craving this place again! Great service, great food...will be back!!

I live in PCB and I will say this. This is the worst pasta I have ever eaten. Go to the grocery store, get a can of crushed tomatoes and pour it on ur pasta. Absolutely terrible. Save ur money. No need to spend 15.00 on a plate of pasta thats taste like this...
