While the food was tasty and well presented the service was extremely disappointing. Apparently our waitress was new and unfamiliar with the menu and restaurants coupon policy. After taking our order and serving our salad and appetizer we were told that we could not order the spaghetti special when using a coupon. We reordered from the menu and then had to ask for bread to be served with our meal. When the couple seated next to us were served their meals they too had to ask for bread and were told "NO, you ordered a salad. The menu however stated their meal included bread and choice of salad or soup. The young couple however didnt say anything and were never served. This was a first for us eating at an Italian restaurant and bread not being served. The waitress then came to our table and told us that the manager said we had to order a dessert since our bill did not total the coupon we had purchased. We however told her to recheck since we had calculated that we had already exceeded the amount. She returned later to advise we were correct because the manager had not updated the bill. It was just a strange and uncomfortable evening.

Sat, Sep 19, 8PM Had heard good things from friends about the food except for shortages (not fully supporting the menu?). My Chicken Mangia Mangia dish looked great (roasted chicken breast with grilled veges) and came with side of pasta. Big disappointment as all were sickeningly SWEET. Red sauce appeared enticingly thick and rich but tasted sweet as honey. No mention of sweet in the dish description and no warning by the waiter. The sauce also spoiled my wifes Fruitti di Mari as did the unavailability of angel hair pasta (only spaghetti, linguine or bowtie were available). Our friends both enjoyed a chicken special with a butter based sauce. They were out of our wine choice and suggested a more expensive bottle. Great opportunity here for the staff to compensate at no additional cost. Instead they charged us the greater price. Calamari Fritte was excellent. The decor and atmosphere are very nice and wait service was good. The tables were about half full. Take you chances if you like sweet red sauce. Noticed "LaCantina" is mentioned in the menu. Can this menu be the same as the great Paw Paw restaurant!!

We sat at the bar. We were sitting at the bar for almost a half hour before we even got our order taken. From the time he put our order in the computer it was 42 minutes until we got our food. I know the exact minutes because when I asked to speak to the manager, he came out and the first thing he said to me was, "its only been 42 minutes" my responds was "only been???". He then proceeded to tell me that it takes that long because all the food comes out of the same kitchen, like I thought they cooked some of it across town or something. He them told me that is what I should expect from eating down town on a saturday evening. However it was 8 by the time we got our order taken and there were empty tables everywhere in the restaurant. The food was sub par, and very bland, as I had to use a small ton of crushed red pepper to make it half way taste good. And to top it all off, the prices are outragious. For three of us to eat and each have two drinks our bill was 100 bucks. And none of our dishes were top of the time. All there were pasta dishes with less then normal portions. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and i visited this restaurant a few days ago after rock climbing. She had the chicken Alfredo and I had the Manicotti. She found the Alfredo to be greasy. She also noted that very few pieces of chicken were present. The Manicotti was decent. I added meatballs (which were two small meatballs) and they were okay. As an appetizer, we ordered cheese sticks which appeared homemade and were actually very good. So why such a low score? First, I did have her Alfredo and it was poor. Although my Manicotti was okay it was only two noodles with two meatballs. I wouldnt say that for the price it was a memorable meal. The service was good. Drinks were kept filled and our waitress attended to us well. The decor was nice and pleasing but not overly stated. Nothing that would seriously detract from someone wishing to patronize this restaurant. Conclusion: It was a hefty check for food that wasnt done all that well. We will not be returning.

WARNING WARNING. Do not use Mangia Mangia to cater a meal! We recently used this company to cater our daughters wedding. We were expecting a pasta bar with Spaghetti and Meatballs, Chicken Alfredo, and Salad. The noodles arrived dried out, there was zero chicken in the Alfredo, and barely enough lettuce even though I added a huge bag from Sams Club. After the wedding, I called Mangia Mangia to request a refund for the Chicken Alfredo meals since obviously it did not come as ordered. We felt we were being very generous considering the missing meat altered the entire dinner causing my servers to have to dish out only one meatball to each guest in hopes that everyone could have one. I received no apology, and the restaurant is refusing to refund the cost of the Alfredo meals.Obviously, there is no concern for customers. After all, it was only a wedding.....

We had reservations for dinner but sat at the bar for a cocktail before hand. Asked for an IPA and some prosecco. Bartender brought the beer and told us that they didnt have any prosecco opened and available by the glass. Then showed me the menus with no other white bubbles available. She didnt stay to give me any other information, or suggest any other option- like "we will sell you a bottle of the prosecco" or "let me see if we can get one opened". Attitude was not helpful or pro sales for the company. We left without having dinner and went to another Italian restaurant nearby which gave us excellent service and rounded up whatever prosecco and/or champagne that they could find for us. Too bad because the food there is good but the service wasnt.

Just hosted a bridal shower here with the rest of the bridesmaids. We had about 20 ladies and the room in the back that they gave us was gorgeous! They accommodated to everything we could ask for! They even accomodated a vegetarian that I messed up and didnt tell them ahead of time so they cooked a completely new entree for her that she loved. The food was delicious, authentic Italian..we had a chicken parmigiana and pesto pasta for the entree; everyone loved it. Portions were pretty big as well. Service was great..for a party this big, they were pretty fast and definitely helpful with the needs of a shower. Would definitely recommend this place for a date night and any party or event of any size!

Let me just say that the manager is so nice and helpful! This was a few weeks back, but we had a pretty long wait time during their Monday spaghetti Special night. With 2 boys, it was getting to be a bit much. We were sat a little outside of the bar. It did take awhile for ordering, getting food and check. We could see they were busy a low staffed. The bartender let it be known though, that they were seating too many in his area. Other than that, he was very helpful. Just busy. The manager came over and she apologized for the wait and gave us a free appetizer. That was very nice! The spaghetti was delish. Would come back again, but make reservations next time
