Upon arrival, our party of 5 adults and 3 children were told the wait time would be 25-30 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes we were taken to our table. Our server, Barclay, took upwards of 10 minutes to come to the table and this was after another server came and told us he would be tending to us shortly. When he came, we placed our drink orders and we had to request that he bring breadsticks so that the kids wouuld be distracted from the wait time and so they could eat something. At this point, the kids were getting restless and continued to ask when food would be served. No one had offered kids menus so we had to send one of the kids to the hostess stand to ask for 3 kids menus. Our server then brought our party of 8, three breadsticks. Another 10 minutes went by before he returned to place our entree order. It was approximately 15 more minutes before he returned with salad and one more basket of bread, containing 5 breadsticks. I then told him that it would be safe to assume he could continue to bring bread without asking us each time if we wanted any. 15 more minutes passed before we were served our entree, but because he couldnt bring all the plates out at one time, he brought 4 plates out, left them on the server tray at the end of the table without serving them, then returned to the kitchen. He then came back out with another server to serve all the dishes at the same time. By this time, several members of our party had run out of water and we had to ask him to refill our glasses. After the majority of the food had been eaten, I noticed something "foreign" on someones plate. I picked a green pepper out of a pasta dish and the produce sticker had not been removed prior to cutting. I then made our server aware of the situtation and although our server lacked "serving etiquette" he did take the pepper to management who then took that meal off the tab and even offered for each of us to get a dessert "on the house". Overall, the service was unacceptable. If it is a result of Barclays inexperience, he should probably be back on training. Management did take the reigns and more or less redeemed the horrible dining experience. The prices are so ridiculous and not worth the total experience. I would definitely think twice before eating at this location.

Took the family here on the evening of 06-11-17, before I start I would like to first say that our waiter was phenomenal and very courteous. I believe his name was Adam. Now, to give reason to my 1 star rating. We waited about 30min for our food to arrive. Normally this wouldnt be an issue, understandably should the food be freshly prepared. However, this was not the case. Our food was served on a scorching hot plate, leading you to believe it was just made. But upon tasting the food we quickly realized it was cold, and had been sitting for sometime. Our children didnt want the macaroni and cheese they were served. The most simple of dishes to create. The noodles were overcooked to the point they all became mush on the plate. They used WHOLE cloves of garlic in my dish. There were a pile of them on my plate. Fortunately I didnt catch one on my fork before eating. That would have ruined my day. All in all Id say that the quality of food at this establishment was very poor. I understand it is not "fancy" Italian cuisine, but the dinner for 4, 2 kids 2 adults, costed $60. And no one wanted to eat any of it. Their microwaves were working overtime that evening. Sadly, it seemed no manager was monitoring the food exiting the kitchen either. A waste of my money and time spent.

Horrible service ! Me and my mother and two siblings were trying to eat here this was Sunday November 13th they told us a 10 minute wait we waited atleast 30 minutes after the manager told us the buzzers were broken ? So she wrote down the name of the party keeping in mind others were waiting with us she never asked them to check there buzzers the longer we waited the waiting area thinned out even people that arrived after us were seated before us finally when my mother went to see what the problem was they stated that the paper she wrote our name down on was lost ? She couldnt find it ? So we called when we left to speak to a manger because we did feel discriminated against the manager told us to hold while she got the number for her GM later someone answered the phone stating they were the GM ? We were confused because she had told us she had to go get their number and all of a sudden she was there ? She apologized and promise a gift card would be emailed to my mothers email immediately havent received one yet ! Never will eat there again and I will encourage others not to waste their money either

A disappointing experience today at Olive Garden in Opelika. The calamari appetizer needed a little more time in the fryer; it was cooked, but pale and not crispy, and the minestrone appeared to have come from the bottom of the pot (all beans and no broth). And the entrees were just as disappointing. My husband had stuffed chicken marsala, which was served with neon white mashed potatoes (powdered??) in a brown sauce that tasted better than it looked. My scampi fritta classico was made with frozen tiny shrimp and very little sauce. I didnt eat all of it. The wines were fine....I honestly cant remember having a bad meal at OG until today. The waiter offered free dessert, but we just wanted to get home at that point.

Double check your food! Ordered to go, my breadsticks were missing, thankfully I noticed and told the to go girl... only to get home ( across town) and my meal was missing the main course? Called to let them know, I was on hold the whole 9 mins all the way back there. Not to mention, I wasnt too thrilled to get home to the rest of my dish and my gfs dish were already cold. Needless to say the staff is lacking! Manager threw me a free piece of cake, I guess thats fair? Smh However, after my email to the DM, maybe theyll tighten up their operation because I certainly wont be running all over back and forth to pay hard earned money for a meal!

I keep coming back to this place for 4 reasons: 1. There arent many Italian restaurants in Auburn, with such a good taste. 2. Customer service is awesome, they are friendly and always smiling. 3. Family oriented, once you step inside you feel happy, receptionists are welcoming you. 4. I love the vibe of this restaurant! I cant explain well, but I can say the decoration, the lights, the food etc all together are amazing. Sometimes, there could be some delay but I can understand that, many people are coming to that restaurant for a reason. The only thing that needs to be improved is that they need to increase the number of food selections.

Olive Garden is one of my only favorite chain restaurants (Im more partial to local cuisine). Over the last year this particular OG has really disappointed. Im not sure if theyve hired a new chef or what the deal is but the food is HORRIBLE! I will be boycotting this OG until further notice, which is depressing because I really do love OG. I have frequented several of them all over the South and the reason I can say that this ones quality is less than stellar is because everywhere else I go the food is fresh and delicious every time. When I dine at this location...the food tastes old and looks very un-appetizing.
