My wife and I came in for lunch last week and enjoyed the food and service from our waitress. She was friendly and attentive. My wife is Asian so we have eaten at a number of Korean places in several states over the past 25 years. Some were great and other not so good. This one was clean and I would rate the food a well about average from the other places we have eaten. The food tasted the way it should without any surprises. We ordered 2 entrees, noodles and pot stickers. They came with 8 small plates and 1 bowl of white rise which my wife ate. Like most Asians my wife needs rice with her meal so this was a big plus for her. Half of the small plates were spicy and others were not. This was perfect for us because my wife likes spicy and I do not. The only weak points of this restaurant were the prices were a little high. We paid about $70 for lunch for 2 with only drinking the house tea which I believe was free. We did have some leftovers to take home. The 2 other weak points were they do not offer take out which must be some permit thing with the city. I never have been to this type of restaurant which did not have a takeout menu. So you need to eat inside and only leftovers can be brought out of the restaurant. Lastly, 85 percent of the drinks served come in a can. soda, ice tea, lemonade and other choices come in a can which I or my wife did not want. We do not drink can products at home so certainly do not want them at a restaurant. I prefer something fresh from a soda machine or in a bottle. It would be nice if they invested in a soda machine with free refills like most placed have these days. I believe some of their beer was in a bottle but we just had the Korean barley tea which was good. We both would have purchased soda products if they were not in a can. We will be coming back on a monthly basis due to prices for could not afford coming for lunch weekly. We like to keep lunch under $50 for the 2 of us but will still splurge once a month for the food was that good.

Hands down BEST Korean food!!!! If anyone has eaten in NYC/NJ K town and really good places in Korea thats what you can expect here. There are some true authentic dishes here that you will not be able to find in most Korean restaurants in the States (DeungKalBi Kimchi JeonGol, Jjoo Sam, Ori Gui, Spicy Cheese Baby Ribs, Dak BaekSuk)! I wish we had chance to try everything including cheese baby ribs! but we had Jjoo Sam(If you ask them to make you stir fried rice with the left over sauce after, it is to DIE FOR!), Ori Gui, Gal bi, nang myun. I cant forget the taste of yummy squid and pork belly after eating jjoo sam, I am still dreaming about it! :) Nang myun is sour, sweet, savory(from meat toasted sesame) and refreshing with perfectly cooked noodles! Its truly impressive because you can taste that each dish is used with wholesome ingredients and there is some secret to each of the sauces(and its not MSG folks because I am very sensitive to MSG and I had no symptoms after we ate here several times). I am still day dreaming and savoring the sauces in my mouth as I write this review! :) The owners said they make their own kimchi(chula do style) and their banchans with all natural ingredients. She even goes as far as roasting her own sesame seeds(and yes, you can taste the difference)! For those of you who are Korean and used to eating your moms delish food, well thats what you expect here. You can also get best of both all worlds because there are spicy, non spicy, meat, fish, chicken and veggie options(you have to ask). Another awesome part was they sell diverse variety of Korean alcohol including basic, soju, baek sae ju, beers but also several kinds of mal gul ri. We were there the first night we were in Orlando and loved it so much we went back! Beewon you truly won our hearts~ We wish I can eat here everyday and will be back for sure!

Interactive cooking! Cook up a storm at this nice warm and friendly spot in the Dr. Phillips area. Fancy cooking your own meal, this is the place to do it. Traditionally, Asian households sit around the dinner table with many side dishes and a main dish cooking, while they eat. Some are famous hot pot recipes, for Koreans it is the grill. Beewon, seeks to bring this tradition into the dining room. Of course cooking at the table is not the only option. There is a full menu that the chef will prepare and then there is the do-it-yourself version. It is an absolute joy to sit around turning meat on a fire enjoying friends, food, wine, nice ambiance, and extremely friendly service. The dining room welcomes with rows of wine bottles and a very open airy space. Gracious booths and seating gives elbow room to practice cooking on your table. There is an outdoor patio, that I was told could also accommodate table top cooking on individual gas burners. The menu is simple enough without an over abundance of items to overwhelm. There are a couple selections of wines, Korean Herbal wines, and beers. Korean table top cooking comes with an array of side dishes. If there is a particular side dish that you had at another Korean restaurant and was not brought to your table simply ask, chances are they have it in the back. All of the side dishes tasted to texture, flavor, and temperature. The main soup dish had ample tofu and vegetables in a very balanced broth. Grilled Kalbi ribs were marinated nicely and cooked evenly. The service was on point. There was sufficient table presence and conversation. Empty dishes were removed and refills were prompt. Pleasantries were very cordial. Nice ambiance, nice food, great service. Definitely a place to experience with friends and family.

I have been there only once before and enjoyed it, but this will be my last time. My husband and I went in and werent even acknowledged for over 5 minutes, standing there by the hostess stand. Eventually the buser lady came by to seat us. Then we waited another 10 minutes for someone to show up to take our order. They didnt have shrimp tempura or their popular Korean rice drink. We found something else to order and repeated it a few times. My husband ordered a Coke and I ordered a green tea. The waitress came back with two waters, but mine had lemon. We were very confused. We were going to ask about it but no one was around, and if they were, they were chatting amongst themselves. We decided to leave without touching the waters. I had a feeling the food was going to take an hour and would be wrong like something simple as our drinks. I wont be back. I try being patient and polite but I can only take so much. TERRIBLE customer service.

Real deal! As a korean whos been living in US only 3 years. I do have home food sickness once in awhile. Well, now I know where to cure it for sure. I visited here for the first time with My mom and bro who were visiting me from Seoul, they also loved their real korean style of food and had to come back for another dinner(out of only 4 days of trip in Orlando) And when I came back again yesterday with my b.f (Caucasian) he also mentioned food was great and their service was excellent!! Young guys whore working there, were so kind and welcomed us with big smile and said goodbye with a half bow. It actually made a big difference to us since weve been talking about how Asian food is great but service is bad in US in general. I do love Bee Wons food and great service and do appreciate it so much cause I know its rare to be found these days. Ill def be back when I visit Orlando next time.
