Ive orderd from China Star several times mostly because its the only chinese restaurant that delivers in my area. The food was never that great, but today (09/21/2011) for what ever reason the food was fantastic. I ordered the Poo Poo Platter & the Bourbon Chicken Lunch Combo and it was the best I ever had. Even the pork fried rice was different. In the past the rice was a little yellowish and didnt taste very good. Today it was a dark brown and full of flavor. I believe they may have hired a new cook. So I guess as long as they continue serving the great food I had today I would suggest and highly recommend ordering a.s.a.p.

Ok, so I have been eating here for 2 years and I loved it! Of course its hard to find a great Chinese food with up to standard cleanliness but this one wasnt bad...until I ordered last saturday. I had sweet and sour chicken, I ate about half the tray and as i picked up a piece I looked down and there was a tiny roach stuck in the breading!!! You could see the whole head and body!!! I almost threw up!!! Im giving up on Chinese restaurants all together...after this I just cant...I would usually not give a bad review for anything I would just not comment.

China Star is our go to New York style Chinese food restaurant. We never dine in and always order to-go. Food quality is slightly above average with other NY style Chinese food restaurants we have tried in the area but doesnt beat some of the more expensive places weve eaten. We find it a good compromise between quality and price. I believe they stopped delivery service in December of 2016.

Im very upset to read all the negative reviews. I have been ordering from here for many years and never had a bad experience. Do not be discouraged to order just because of others reviews. Everyone has different tastes, different cooking techniques or recipes. I will continue to order despite unhappy reviews

This is the best NY style chinese food Ive had in Florida in over 10 years. The food is tasty, always hot and fresh, made to your instructions, and typical chinese menu. They are clean and fast, no tto mention the very competitive price and they even deliver. Do not go anywhere else for chinese food!

Great food and great service.... We live 5 minutes away and when we order the food for pick up its always ready when picked up (10 minutes later) This is the only chinese place with in 45mins that satisfies my new yorker husband (he compares everything to NY chinese food;with good reason)

Their food is the best. When I use to live across town, I would drive to their spot for chinese food. The food is close to the taste of chinese food in New York and we all know, no one can beat the restaurants up North.

The absolute best pork fried rice around!! Must try the fried dumplings! Ive eaten at many Chinese fast food take outs around the US and China Star is definitely top on that list! About to order more!

The food is okay. Ive only ordered from them twice. in the 13 yrs ive lived in this area. Both times I was disappointed with the service and the food. Good Homes chinese is way better.
