We tried this restaurant on Fathers day, not knowing what to expect. We are really happy we did! The service was great and the food was terrific! I wasnt sure how the food was going to be, so I ordered an appetizer to set my expectations. They have a triple dip appetizer that the 4 of us split (2 adults and two young teen girls). It was not gigantic, but it was Very tasty. It had guacamole (simple and fresh, like my wife makes it), queso dip, and a fruity salsa (mango, etc). Loved all 3! The chips were fresh and crispy and they also brought the table salsa - a bit spicy for my young one, but full of flavor. Youngest got kids meal of chicken tenders - nothing to write home about. She also go a side of refried beans - totally reminded me of my grandmothers beans in Texas, she always had a pot of them on the stove. Other daughter got a taco salad with skirt steak - great meat flavor, bog crispy bold of ribbon cut salad. My wife and I split 2 dishes - carnitas tacos (comes with refried beans and yellow rice) and enchiladas suizas with shredded chicken (comes with black beans and white rice). WOW! The enchiladas were super! Super tender and moist shredded chicken, cheese, verde sauce - terrific! The tacos were great as well! Tender, moist meat and fresh toppings with handmade soft corn tortillas. We really liked it and will go back again when we are in Orlando. The prices are not cheap, like Taco Bus, but they are a bit cheaper than most Disney establishments. Cost was about $12 or $13 per plate on average - Definitely worth it!

Ordered to go around 6 ish had a 15 minute wait I waited until like 25 minutes went to pick up my food and it wasnt ready ok I waited 15 more minutes then I was getting impatient because now its going on 30+minutes when I asked the same guy he told me Id have to wait because it takes time because I ordered something vegetarian witch makes no sense because they offer vegetarian options so I leave go back to work for another 20 minutes go to pick it up and they tried to up charge me for a drink when it clearly states that a drink is included in the kids meal did not even tell me the amount until after they swiped my card so then the manager came over and had no clue how to work their own systems gave me a receipt that didnt even reflect a refund nor a total I was already frustrated because Id been waiting longer then I shouldve been for 2 simple order the two girls at the front counter were nice confused but tried to help but the overall customer service sucked I ended up waiting a total of 45min + for a to go order and everyone was confused with the ordering system checks were not separated when I started off the phone order with hi I would like to places two separate orders and gave two different names for each order sucks cause the food was enjoyable but wont ever be eating here again not worth the wait or headache( literally)

Where do I start?! No one was there to greet as we arrived. When the waitress finally came, she sat us down and left. We sat there for a good 5-7 without a menu. I had to get up and ask for the menus. Then a waiter came who was not at all welcoming or friendly but whatever. He asked for our drinks and I swear he left half way through the order. I didnt even finish ordering. Then it took 15 minutes for them to come back and ask for our food. I made eye contact with the waiter and he just stared at me while he sat down counting money. Looked like he was counting the restaurants earnings or something. Not sure. Finally the hostess came to take the order of food. Im not even sure who are server was. I had to ask for all our drinks to be filled. When I finally asked for the bill, it took a while so I asked again and then another member of my party had to ask also. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but this service was terrible. They are very lucky my party was more than six so the tip was included in my final bill because I wouldnt have given them a single penny. Service was so bad, I literally created a google account so that I could leave this comment. Dont eat here! Youre welcome

I went there on 10/1/10, fri, for dinner with friends. Service is terrible & so is the food. After we were seated, the waiter said he would be back in 1 min. He was talking in the back with the other waiters & came back in 10 min. We ordered waters & 1 margarita...that took 15 min. When we finally got our chips (almost 30 min later), they were cold. The entrees were so-so & felt like they were sitting on the counter for some time. We ordered the fried ice cream, which is a scoop of ice cream covered with stale corn flakes! My friends paid with cash & waited outside. I was the last 1 at the table b/c I paid with a credit card...the waiter came to me & asked why my friends paid only a 10% tip, when the receipt recommended an 18% tip (we had a part of 4). I gave him an extra tip which is not deserved, but I was tired. I havent told my friends about this. There werent many ppl there, which is strange for a fri night in Orlando...now I know the reason why. Avoid this place at all costs! I went to this place based on google reviews...maybe we went on a bad day?

My wife and I dined at El Patron on Valentines Day 2013. The restaurant told me when making reservations that it would be a prix fixe menu. Apparently they didnt publicize that to their regular clientele, because many families were showing up and then leaving. We had the restaurant practically to ourselves. It was a shame because the food was excellent and there was just way too much of it! We each started with a plate of cheeses, salami-like meat, and freshly cooked almonds was delicious--one plate would have been fine for two persons. A spinach salad with rainbow beets was good and about twice as big as necessary. I had a beef rib in a beer-reduction sauce that was sensational. There was a polenta side. My wife had duck and said it was also wonderful. For dessert I had a goats cheese cheesecake with strawberries and a chocolate glaze. It was six inches in diameter and yes, it was round. My wife had tres leches. We boxed the desserts and enjoyed them the next day. I would recommend this special menu to anyone, should the restaurant offer it again.

Este lugar la verdad no es nada bueno yo bento de NYC de vacaciones con mi familia y fuimos a sentar ahí el servicio no es malo pero la comida y los precios la verdad muy malo cobran demaciondo incluyen la propina y ponen de más la verdad yo si la comida es buena vale la pena pagar pero la comida estaba muy mala que pena I dont recommend tha place and the food is no good the service was good but the food is not good I dont recommend and And also is toexpense is not worth it so sad
