I wasnt thrilled. We waited for about 30 to 45 min to be seated and what made it suck was they only had a couple of seats for those waiting to be seated. the bar didnt allow room for you to order any drinks while you waited and Noone came around to take any orders. this was upsetting because for being at CityWalk the service was very mediocre and not what I wouldve expected. After being seated it took about another 30 minutes to even see a waitor for just our drink order. When he finally came to our table we just placed our meal order at the same time. "hoping to speed up the process" we got our drinks, they were decent nothing special. the meal was the big dissapointment, I ordered a sampler of theyre meats. everything on my plate was room temperature the only thing hot was the little tiny bowl of black beans that seemed microwaved. My wife ordered a beef borrito. also room temperature and the only thing hot on her plate was again the tiny bowl of black beans. all and all we will not be going back to this place. Especially because a drink each and meal with no appetizers was over 60 dollars. stupid high price for crap meal. I will say if your in the mood for Mexican food save some money and head to Taco Bell. its about the same quality.... I also just wanted to add after reading some reviews. we went on a Friday night around 9pm during Universal Mardi Gras season and we did not see any band and no live music. even though there was a very large stage. also the place was surprisingly empty for the size it was and how long our wait was.

Sad I had to even select one star. I will credit this star to the rice that was good. WE chose to eat here during our HHN25 excursion. All six of us GREATLY regretted our decision. In fact it was so horrible, I excused myself from my table of six and went next door to the hot dog place and had my meal, which was $60 cheaper than mine and my partners meals. He had the pork soft tortilla meal. It was dry and tasted one noted of only chili powder or paprika. There is more of a portion in a school lunch line. I had chicken chimichanga. I took one bite and tasted a very disgusting, non-seasoned piece of hard chicken, no cheese filling or veggies... just a very disappointing $17.00 piece of garbage on a plate. The beverage menu was nothing but tequila. Someone cant even order a vodka or rum beverage. The server was nice, obviously stoned outta his mind, bumping into chairs, forgetting stuff, and taking every spread out moment to tend to us. All six of us are hospitality managers, bartenders, etc and accept flaws, but not downright horrible EVERYTHING. When everyone at the table had more than 3/4 of our entrees left on the plates before the check was dropped, we received nothing more than check drops. No, dont ask why there is so much food uneaten, or eve check for our 20%discounts. This is hands down the most TERRIBLE place to dine at citywalk. Next time, if ya wanna sell people on an amazing establishments look, make sure your food can keep up. DO NOT GO HERE!

we arrived at 7:00 pm Saturday was seated right away upstairs which was very empty We were told we would be seated outside but then we were told no they had to put us inside even thou there were empty tables on the terrace We found out that the air conditioner was broken upstairs and that is why they sat us so fast. It would have been nice to be asked if we wanted to wait for a table either outside or downstairs We ordered drinks 1 beer $7.00 1 double gray goose and cranberry $12.95 (no trace of alcohol) I ordered the stew which I asked the waiter if it was spicy and he said not at all It was a tiny frying pan with a spoon of rice and 3 tortillas $17.00 The plate was so small it was the size of an appetizer. Totally horrible and not worth it My friend had empanadas and it was served with a dipping sauce that tasted like the powder seasoning you would put in tacos My entire party was very dissatisfied with their food as well. It was not worth the prices. We ordered a dessert with a candle to celebrate our friends birthday 20 minutes we got fried dough with cinnamon and sugar and a bowl or cold hard caramel. The waiter did not even sing with us. The mariachi band played outside to get customers to come inside and then downstairs on the stage We were told they walked around playing by the tables but never came near us. Not worth the time or money They are one step below Taco Bell..... Habaneros is so much better

I travel often, and this local restaurant is probably the best Mexican food I have ever had. I visited Universal Studios recently with a friend, and we went here expecting decent but not spectacular chain Mexican food. We sat at the chefs table overlooking the kitchen and were AMAZED by the skills of the cooks and beautiful food. Sergio, Lee, Bruno, Michael and Marjory -and the others whose nametags I could not see- were incredible to watch. Our charming server Sanaa was very helpful in recommending items on the menu. The tres salsas and chips were great; especially the complex flavors of the Arbil pepper salsa. My friend loved his budin. I had the combination platter. While everything was good, the ancho pepper was SPECTACULAR. Ive never been to a Mexican restaurant with such eclectic mixings of ingredients and such deliciously complex flavors. Finally, we had their cheese flan. It was by far the creamiest and most delicious flan Ive ever had. Five stars for Antojitos. This is their only restaurant, but if they ever decide to open a second store, may I suggest Savannah -within walking distance from my house preferably.

After reading other reviews, I realized most were very different and separated, either 1 star or 5 stars. Firstly, this is a good stop for food if you are into Mexican. I ordered chicken fajitas and there was nothing wrong with them at all. Second, stop commenting about the salsa in general. Whether you like it or not isnt important. One thing that I realized about it with my party of 4 is that its not for people who eat everything spicy, and you either love it or hate it. Also, do not complain if you have a 20 minute wait to get your drinks or food. What people need to realize is that if you have to wait 40 minutes to be seated, your waiter/waitress isnt going to magically appear in front of you. From the looks of it, they have 15 or so servers in a huge restaurant which is always packed. There also seems like there is a huge difference in the staff attitude that they have there. Either great or terrible. I got great. I guess it can be kind of a gamble. Most of the people seemed happy, though. Overall a good experience with a great atmosphere and happy people. Dont really know where all these bad reviews come from.

Had reservations so we were seated right away. The hostess had seated us in a heavy traffic area . So we asked if we could sit elsewhere as the place was empty. Very rudely the hostess replied with "I dont know if you can sit somewhere else youll have to wait" she was quite rude and quite standoffish about this request. She moved us down to directly in front of the band saying that its really loud here. We had 2 kids with us, again she came off as we were causing her a problem. After finally sitting, our waitress came over. We had asked if one of our kids could just get a plate of plain nachos. This is after all a Mexican restaurant. She told us that shed have to check but didnt think they could do that. I said "you have to check to see if you can get a plate of plain nachos? Youve got to be joking" after dealing with a terrible hostess then an uncooperative waitress, we simply stated that this was not the restaurant for us and we left. Bad experience, would definitely not recommend. Wait staff doesnt get what good customer service is. Theres many other restaurants that do and are more than happy to take your money.
