WORST SERVICE EVER! We went for my birthday- total of 4 people. We sat outside and thats about the best thing that happened. When our server finally comes over- doesnt great us just goes right into the drink specials. We mention we are celebrating my birthday and her reply was "Thats nice". My husband asked if one of beers she mentioned was local, she left to ask the bartender and came back and told us no one knew and that she couldnt google it bc she wasnt allowed to use her phone while working. Ok? When she came back to bring the drinks we wanted to place an appetizer order and she told us she first needed to check on another table. When she finally returned and took our order another guest in our party tried ask a question about an entree and she told him she couldnt answer bc she had to check another table. We didnt leave bc it was so late and we were hungry- but McDonalds would have been better. Several other things went wrong, we asked what bourbons they had and she told us only about the whiskeys, insisting we were wrong. She kept telling us how busy she was with her other tables. We asked what the soup of the day was and she actually said, "I will be honest, you dont want it, its late in the day and its really low and its brown and everyone who orders it sends it back so thats why I didnt offer it" . The kicker- the most offensive thing I have ever had happen- my husband ordered the mac-n-cheese with shrimp. Our server came by and he said "Im sorry, I dont see any shrimp" She picked up his knife and began picking through his food and flicking around the small, shredded pieces of shrimp. We were all speechless. Will NEVER return, nor will I recommend it. The only get 1 star bc I couldnt post my review otherwise.

Having worked as a restaurant and bar manager for over a decade I am extremely patient and understanding when problems arise however our trip to Outriggers was the worst service I have ever had. It started with our server upset and complaining about the tip from her last table. I can understand her frustration but that should not be shared with another guest. I did however get some insight as to why she probably was not making as much as she could. Poor quality service often prompts a lower than normal tip. Not only did we have to ask for things multiple times and then wait an extended time to get them but at one point a food runner actually refused to help us. Upon delivering the appitizers she asked if she could get us anything else, my friend asked for a water and she laughed and said you will have to ask your server for that. You are in the hospitality industry. You should find a way to say yes not go out of your way to say no, especially over something so simple. After having our food "auctioned off" by the very person who so carefully wrote down in order who got what at the table we notified the manager. His only response was to apparently tell the server right away that we were complaining because when she delivered the checks she went out of her way to make snide comments about how she was sorry that we felt the service was so horrible. The manager was called back for this however he could not seem to grasp why wouldnt like being yelled at by our server for something she had done wrong so we just left. You now have 5 different couples who despite the amazing view of the water will never return.

I got married here last Saturday, May 13th. It was thunder storming & 20 mph winds right at ceremony time. The reception area was ruined due to weather - turned out to be one of the greatest nights when rain let up. My husband and I believe that per the waiting staff and Ian (director of events) the night was saved. Considering the circumstances, we believe they worked above and beyond to make sure everything was running smoothly. Per a previous review, yes music was playing during our ceremony and people were walking up the path but when we originally chose Outriggers as our wedding venue, we were fully aware that we were risking this. This is a very popular restaurant and our ceremony was at a popular time. Saturday at 6 pm. Our ceremony was held at the only entrance to the restaurant so it was a given and we were aware that this may happen from the beginning - everyone who walked through was very respectful. This is our favorite restaurant and the food is always and was exceptional.

On 5/16/2016 At 3:30/4 I went to the tiki bar and it was super windy. The wind caught my menu, which in turn knocked over my beer. I helped to clean it up and was never offered a replacement beer. We asked for a new beer and when the bartender went to hand it to me I reached for it. This is not something I would typically do, however the wind, plastic cups, and spill prompted me to reach for it. I did not want another spill due to wind. The bartender turned to other customers and complained about me reaching for the beer. He stated "did you see that? Nobody takes a beer from the bartenders hand". I am from NSB and this is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. The bartender also ran our tab before we even looked at it. He did not give us anything to sign and said that we were good. Great scenery but the customer service is a complete deterrent. There are plenty of scenic locations in NSB without having to deal with snide and disrespectful customer service.

Great riverside restaurant, and bar. There is indoor and outdoor seating with both table and bar services available, accommodating any casual dining preferences one may have . The food menu has a wide variety of options to choose from, and the weekend brunch menu is AMAZING! Their cocktail menu includes a large list of house concoctions for you to chose from (their signature Bloody-Mary being my personal favorite) as well as a full bar. And to top off their great food and amazing drinks, they also have one of the best Riverside dining atmospheres in New Smyrna. Whether you arrive by land or by sea, there is convenient parking accommodations available, including valet service. If you are a sportsmen or not, be sure to stop into the bait and tackle store (on property) and checkout the cool swag and fishing gear that they have to offer.

Decided to try this place one evening while I was in New Smyrna Beach and its okay. We wanted to sit outside but the wait would have been longer than we like, so we ate inside and got lucky that we still had a decent water view. Its a sea food place but of course they offered other options for those of us who dont eat much sea food. Prices were moderate. Its a casual place, nothing fancy. If I recall, my food came in a basket - so fine dining would not be how I would describe this place, more like bar food. The bar drinks were good - I had their specialty drink called the Zombie. Parking was free valet only - unless you arrive by boat, then I believe you have to park that yourself. Seems like a popular place for tourists and locals. Who knows, I may find myself back there again next time Im New Smyrna Beach around meal time.
