I just tried to order from this place. When I said I wanted it delivered the first thing she brings up is delivery is only for $20 or over. I told her that would not be a problem. Then she asked for my address and I gave it to her. I heard a foreign language (Chinese?) spoken rapidly to a man who responded in kind and I was told they will not deliver that far away? I was surprised because I know exactly where they are and estimated it might be a 10 minute drive ... I told her so and there was more foreign fast talk. She came back with no again that they only deliver within five miles "or something like that" and I said goodbye and wished her well. I can take a hint and when someone makes it obvious they do not want my money I do my best not to give them any of it. I looked it up just to see if I was off and I was ... its 3.7 miles and Google estimates it is a 9 minute drive. Food might be pretty good but Ill never know ...

Ive been going here off and on for a while now. Initially, its easy to be put off by going in cause the place looks exactly like youd expect from a Chinese takeout. Even the pictures of the food on the menu board feel like theyre from the 80s. Even so, the service is good, the people Ive seen have been there for a long time and actually seem to care about their jobs. As a result, you get good values and better food. Ive never had a problem with the portions there, theyre always filling. Personally, I suggest eating there before 3 PM to take advantage of the lunch specials, but Ive taken away for dinner as well and have had no complaints.

They advertise "NY Chinese". SERVICE: YES definitely NY. People were rude, abrupt and unfriendly. FOOD: very bland. Wanted to try a little bit of everything to get a feel for the place, mangolian beef, general taos chicken and shrimp w/ lobster sauce. First two were supposed to be spicey. NO SPICE. Cooked perfect but very spice.. Shrimp w/ lobster sauce very good. For those in love w/ Chinese food- Go to the "YUMMY HOUSE" in Tampa. Waters and Armenia area. In a dive plaze at the far east end. EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!! Puts all these walk up counter Chinese want to be joints to shame!

First off the person that took my order was unfriendly and very rude. I ordered crab Rangoon. It was all breading no filling at all. I called to complain and had more of the rude behavior. I went to have them remake it and they had me come back only to try to tell me that they have sold thousands and never had a complaint. So I paid for something I took back to them and didnt get it replaced. Waste my money and time. Never again. Poor business management lousy food and service.

Terrible!!!! When you order from this place expect that it wont be correct!! When you specifically say no onions for your kids not to have to sit and pick them out and burn their fingers, you will most definitely get onions!! Then when you call and complain theyll say oh we replace for you, then they dont remember having that conversation when you call to replace your previous messed up order!!! Complete amnesia sets in!! This place is horrible!!

I could have made better at home honestly. Very polite staff, but I asked for extra spicy shzetuan chicken and it came out rather bland. Not much flavor in the pork fried rice either. I ordered the Wonton soup too and it was barely passable. Lots better with soy sauce though haha. The portions are great for the price, I just wish the flavor was as great. Good effort though. Egg roll was tasty!

For the most part, this spot is my favorite chinese food restaurant in the area. 95% of the time ive ordered, the food has been wonderful!! There have been a couple occasions where i wasnt impressed, but far and few, and i order here a lot. Love this place, as long as the right person is cooking. Tonight the food was amazing!!

There food is tasty and theyre not shy on the meat & veggies! Ive never had fried rice packed so generously. We usually get the house lo mein, fried rice and sweet & sour shrimp...which are huge! There is a bit of a language barrier, but the girl up front is very helpful. Never tried delivery, always pick-up & always on time.

ok so its chinese take out food, its pretty much the same as everywhere else. BUT, they are fantastic about catering to specific requests. Im laid back but my ex would be super particular about only wanting broccoli and no other veg, and they would get it right every time. They are always friendly and quick.

New China Restaurant is the most reliable Chinese Restaurant in the New Port Richey area. Their food is always fresh and hot. No other restaurant in town works harder than these folks to serve their customers. Only four stars because it seems to take a long time when waiting, but maybe thats just me.

The only reason I said fair is because I ordered crab Rangoon and it was stale and was mostly bread. The sauce was watery too. The actual meal was okay though. Idk if they were having an off day but we werent very satisfied.
