my wife and i have been eating chinese take out for 30 some odd years. truly the worst chinese food i have ever had. maybe even the worst take out food period. we ordered pork egg roll,shrimp egg roll,cashew chicken,chicken lo mein, and barbequed ribs. other than the ribs, which were tough as could be, their other dinners ,including the egg rolls,had little to almost no meat. a restaurants biggest expense is the meat and spices. obviously they saved on both accounts.very bland. our bill was 30 dollars respectively. average pricing, really,but quality of food was truly the worst. i have never in my lifetime, taken the time to write a review,but i truly believe this restaurant warrants my time as so not have other people waste their money. I go to this restaurant about once or twice every other month without incidence, and the food is, a majority of the time good, pretty good. On 12/10/14 I go in and order Mongolian beef, which by the way have ordered several times. This order comes out very, very light in color, and with an unusual taste. I bring the food back expecting them to remake the order. What do these CLOWNS do as they are joking and speaking their private language, they throw the same dish back in the pan add more whatever to it and give it back to me! The dish, now, is worse off than before! SHAME ON U CHINA GATE, I WILL NEVER RETURN. Plenty MORE CHINEESE RESTURANTS AROUND!!!

They used to be good. The pupu platter was horrible! And so were the fried scallops, I dont think they were scallops. whatever they were it definetly was not fresh and gave me really bad heart burn. I was tasting it for 2 days! One of the ribs on pupu platter was just a bone with sauce, no meat! Seriously. Ive been calling them for delivery for over 3 years now and last time was definetly the last time! They have really gone down hill!

The WORST Chinese food that I have ever had the displeasure to come upon.tasted like old chicKen that I ever tasted. The steamed dumplings were big gobbs of dough that were like rubber. Even the refried rice was soggy and stuck together. And lastly the egg roll was like a oil roll. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT ORDER from here. It was a waste of money I threw 2/3 of my dinner in the garbage.

My husband and I are new to the Largo area and just tried the China Gate. We ordered a few of our favorite dishes and we were VERY, VERY pleased. The food was delicious and they provide generous portions. Were so happy we found this place! There were no issues placing the order and the order was correct and they also deliver. Our new favorite!

When i got my order which was a delivery u did not get none of my silverware and napkins. They even forgot my can of soda. I called back and they asume since it was a house that we would have it. Well im at work renodeling a house an i didnt have. They came back once i finish the food. Thats why i give it 2 stars an its only for the food.

Fantastic Chinese take out. They provide a great meal at a great price. I have been eating from this particular place for almost 10 years! Same owners, and always taste the same. I have tried many other Chinese restaurants in the area, and none compare when it comes to take out. Make sure you get the Sesame Chicken!

I went in and ordered C20 Combo, but asked if I could please get Shrimp fried rice instead, paid extra and got pork fried rice. Called about the order the girl said, "I didnt hear you." Really not very good customer service. Food was okay, but the rice sucked. There is a huge difference between pork & shrimp!

thought I would try this place again since I havent had them in over a year, I order my food.... and wait... and wait... and finally after an hour I get my food. Open my food and start to and and its not even hot like it was done a while ago... overall not eating here again thanks for cold food

My expectations arent high...I know take out chinese is not "good" chicken. But this was so tough and stringy I had to spit it out. Rare is the day I dont eat the entire lunch special of sesame chicken - today was that day.

Do not go here!! Idk how its possible to f up chicken and shrimp but they did! Food was terribly undercooked, it made my puke after just a few bites. Not to mention I found multiple pieces of hair in my food after that.
