We ordered the Orange Chicken and General Tsos Chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. We purchase this quite often back home in Michigan from a couple of different restaurants with one being a Chinese "fast food" establishment and the other is a full blown award winning Chinese restaurant. We have also purchased these meals from the refrigerated isle at Walmart (forget the brand name) but regardless of where we have purchased these meals in the past, it was better than we had from this place. Orange Chicken was more soy sauce than Orange sauce, and the fried rice was terribly dry. General Tsos was also more soy than anything else and ditto on the fried rice. On a positive note, the Egg Drop Soup was the highlight of the meal, but also, not anything we would buy again. Cant say we hated it or even disliked it, but we obviously didnt care for it at all and sadly, this "first impression" of their offerings will sadly not generate a return visit.

Clean and cozy, waitress was friendly and attentive, service was fast, and food was very good, authentic Chinese flavor. The price is very affordable and serving size is amazingly generous. I ordered half of crispy duck and it came in a serving platter, with sauce and vegetables under the cut up crunchy delicious duck, this for under fifteen dollars and it also came with a side dish of rice. I also ordered fried chicken wings for under five dollars and was surprised to get four crispy whole chicken wings and not wing pieces like you get from other restaurants. They were so good, with a noticeable garlic seasoning. I also had chicken noodle soup for starter and I ate it to the last drop. Do not forget the bbq ribs, my friend and I ordered a large portion and it was really large, we tried our best to eat as much as we could but we failed, lol! We ended up taking home the leftovers. We will definitely come back.

Thought I would treat myself as Im new to the area & getting my car worked n so needed delivery. Ordered $30 worth. Honey Walnut Shrimp which tasted like it was covered in mayonnaise with honey mixed in over lettuce, and burbon chicken that reeked of soy sauce and was a tough chewy meat that tasted nothing like chicken and needless to say nothing similar to the burbon sauce Ive had at other chinese food restaurants. The rice that came with both was fried rice but had no scallions or anything in it and was mushy. The shrimp roll and vegetable rolls were good. Unfortunately all in all this was the worst chinese food Ive ever had in my 43 yrs of life, non of which was edible. Ended up giving it to my dog. Went to China Wok once & it was delicious but they dont deliver:(

Food was terrible. Chicken smelled spoiled. 15 years in restaurants cooking, I know how bad chicken smells. I actually returned to restaurant (15 minute drive) where owner argued with me that everything was fine and no refund or credit would be issued. I had to repeatedly demand a refund and eventually was issued one after much effort and arguing. I WILL NEVER return to this place. Those who love it so much obviously have not had real Chinese food or I went on a day that was terrible. I strive to support local businesses and hate to complain needlessly. But this food was bad, I had no choice.

I had never ordered from this place before, but I was very surprised when they came 15 minutes early from their scheduled delivery time. The service was polite, on the phone and at the door. Great price for two meals and a soda. We were surprised to receive wings from a chicken with our meals, soups, egg roll, etc. It was such a surprise that I was taken aback. This place is AMAZING, I give it 5 stars for good food, great service and courteous staff. The best in Port Charlotte by far!!

** DO NOT ORDER FOOD HERE ** I placed a to go order for general tsos chicken and shrimp lo mein. When I opened the lo mein it smelt funny, like B.O. I proceeded to eat, when it tasted like B.O. too. Couldnt eat more than a few bites. Then, as I was chewing the general tsos chicken, I bit something hard. It was a piece of metal wire. A waste of $20 dollars and I lost my appetite. If you decide to eat here, watch out for the pieces of metal in your chicken. WILL NOT EAT HERE AGAIN

Wow. My husband and I were very impressed. We have lived in the area for four years and we just discovered this little place. When you walk in you see a nicely decorated little but typical set down Chinese restaurant. The menu was nicely done with lots of choices. The prices are low too. The food was excellent!! Im pretty sure the general tau chicken was pan fried not deep fried which is more authentic. The crab Rangoon had actual crab in it too. We will definitely be back!!

Almost all the Chinese places I try around here all taste very similar, some have a little more ingredients/quality and some less. But This place was refreshingly different. The hot and sour soup, kung po chicken, and general tsos chicken all had more flavor than what Im used to. It seemed like more effort was put into preparing the food. Im glad I took a chance with this place. I hope the next time I visit the quality will be the same.

Very poor service, food was mediocre at best. Waitress never refilled water or asked how dinner was. She only had 4 tables so was not that busy. The egg rolls had no flavor at all. We ordered the crabragoons for an appetizer, which the forgot. When I mentioned they forgot them at the end of the meal they brought them out instead of asking if we still wanted them. I will not be returning.

First time here will never go back all the food was so salty in had a bite to it, tasted terrible. Even the "white" rice was brown from soy sauce like it was fried rice. The orange chicken not sweet total salt overload, the cook is very generous with the soy sauce, never had 3 different meals all look identical because they were all coated in black soy sauce. YUK what a waste of $35.

Best place Ive found in port charlotte for reliable and tasty Chinese takeout. The online ordering process is super easy, and prices are reasonable. They happily make food special order, and are good at making suggestions if youre indecisive. Ive always been pleased with this place. My favorite is their moo shu pork, but also have a great general tsos chicken too

Im from NYC, and there we take our Chinese food seriously, and this place does meet even my lowest standards The Chinese guy couldnt understand what I wanted, so I spoke to.him in Chinese, but unbelievably, he didnt speak Chinese. The menu is limited and the food was not great, compared to NYC, I am very disappointed if this is what Chinese food is like in Florida.

In my opinion they are the best Chinese place in the area. The peking chicken and lo-mein noodles are really good. I used to love the hot n sour soup, but they changed the recipe, so its not great anymore. The combination plates are a great deal, and come with soup, wing, and eggroll in addition to your meal.
