I had 2 carne asada tacos, a barbacoa taco and my mom had 3 tamales. All in all, the food was wonderful! We were sad at the recent loss of all of Topekas Taco Ticos, so we went on a hunt for something better, and we found it! The neighborhood is rough, but its friendly enough at 3pm! The staff and interior are inviting and the food is amazing! You could definitely tell they used all fresh ingredients! Even though we live on the other side of town, well definitely be coming back here! Just wish there was one closer to South Gage! Edit: If you live in SW Topeka, I suggest trying el Taquito Express if you liked Tacos el Sol!

I liked it all but 2 things I am going to just give them a little hint on is 1. Make the salsa a little more chunkier and 2. When we buy a meal serve it with beans and rice, not just rice. You are the 1st Mexican restaurant Ive been to that serve just rice. Not both. But you are not greedy with your food I can say. I eat the number 11 everytime. Cow tongue burrito. So good!! greedy with Good people. Keep up the good work. Love the food. Love the cook. !!!!!

When youre looking at the menu, and the word hamburger is spelled wrong, you know youre in the right place. The carne asada was not crispy, otherwise everything was fantastic. Order your food have a seat and theyll bring it to you. Birria on the menu, as well as Menudo and Tamales.

Really good small Mexican food place. Good queso and chips. Not in an area to frequent a lot, More of in a converted 1930s home. However the food is worth it, they do to go and have seating. To go orders sometimes take a bit because they dont man the phones well.

Definitely the best, most authentic and most delicious Mexican cuisine I have ever had. Grew up in California thinking we had the best, been all over the country and tasted all sorts of Mexican from everywhere, And this small place still is the best.

We thought the staff was wonderful. We found the food to be bland. Flautas were like what you find in frozen food section of grocery store. Also, eating a beef burrito on a styrofoam plate with a plastic fork is ... a challenge!

The food was delicious authentic Mexican! The service was good as well. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger, it was one of the best burgers!! I also tried the Flan, it was very, very good! We will go back!!!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Absolutely delish! Chicken tacos, salsa and chips, tortas with homemade bread, flan, sweet rice milk drink .... all so good. My daughter loves the guacamole!

Not sure if we went on a bad night or if other reviewers actually enjoy bland, over cheesed "Mexican" food. We spent $23 for dinner for two. Definitely not worth it.
