We have been to both restaurants since they have upgraded the menu and service. We are continuously disappointed with the one closest to us in Golden Gate City. Our party of two returned 3 items that had been obviously "reheated & cold". The staff was speaking Spanish loudly & completely ignored us when we came to the register to order our food. Staff continued interrupting the cashier as we tried to place our order. It was very frustrating and we considered leaving at this point but didnt. There were several staff members eating ice cream cones with the manager as he sat and ate his meal. We got the feeling that the staff was having a party and we were the intruders! We have been to the other Pollo Tropical on Tamiami and have found a huge difference in the service, atmosphere & food. They are more focused on quality and customer service so I guess if we want to go "out of our way", we will go back to that restaurant to eat. Too bad for us because we like the food but the one in Golden Gate City has consistently disappointed us.

I gave this location one star, as it was the only way to make a comment on reviews. I walked in tonight, the girl at the register didnt look up at me until I stood there and didnt say a word. Finally she looks up with a smug look, still never saying a word. I said, hi how are you? She never said a word, still with the nasty look as if I was bothering her. I have never seen so much disrespect or racism in my life! Didnt feel welcomed actually, was not welcomed at all.or want to spend my money there. I walked away. Never to return! The hate was so thick, you could cut it with a knife. Very disappointed. Btw.. I was the only one at the restaurant at the time. Very telling .

We arrived at 9:45pm, there was no personal to take our order. After 5 minutes waiting someone finally came to the register. While we were placing the order some lady back in the kitchen started screeming that the restaurant should close at 10 pm (internet say open till 11pm). Then the cashier said that we have to take the food to go. Since we were planning to eat at the restaurant, we decided to find another place and left. Our group was seven members of my family, so they lost a good sell plus gain a bad review...we found another place to eat..

Its a drive through place so i dont eat here but i was with my friends on July 4 at 8:30. we had 3 cars full of people since it was raining we decided to go through the drive thru and was not attend or told how can i help you.we just heard laughing and when the employe came to realize she had a customer you can hear her say "oh theres cars"never going here to begin with and now my peers can understand why i dont go to places that just hire anyone

Have been going to Naples for the past couple of years, every time we come through this is the first place we stop to eat. And we have never really had an issue. This time around, every time we went our order was always wrong and restaurant seemed dirtier than usual. Not what it use to be.
