Great food and overall service BUT... I’ve been to Fogo de Chao on January the 29th 2012 and left with very mixed feelings! First of all: The food is excellent, the meat close to perfection, the side dishes delicious, the wine choice very good (though slightly too expensive for the place) and the overall service friendly, helpful and warm. But about halftime of our dinner something happened that could easily happen anyplace else (though shouldn’t): A waiter spilled almost a full glass of ice water on my trouser and shirt! Down on the floor was the Maxi-Cosi with our one-year-old son in it sleeping. Some of the ice water hit his blanket as well. Of course, the staff was very helpful in exchanging the tablecloth immediately (which was full as well on my side of the table), bringing me some new napkins to kind of dry me up and apologized constantly. I kept on eating for about 30 minutes with soaking wet cloth (and didn’t dry up until I changed cloth back in the hotel about an hour later!). I assumed they will offer us some discount at the end but was kind of annoyed already that they didn’t offer me anything immediately (wine on the house or alike). When we ordered the check, they did offer me something unbelievable: A kind of gift card for my next visit (worth one meal)! I spoke to a manager and could “deal” that I, at least, didn’t have to pay for my dinner this night and don’t have to come back to get an kind of compensation for my “wet dinner”. For me it’s totally unbelievable why they didn’t offer me something like this right away and without me having to ask for it! Shame on you, Fogo de Chao! Something like this is completely intolerable in your prince range, rude and without any respect. Taking into account that the food, the overall service and the overall experience of your place were great in any other respect, you should really work on your customer treatment if accidents like this happen. Especially if you want to see a customer twice or even get recommended! I, for my part, will not return due to the lack of respect towards me as a guest, which is sad though, regarding the really great food they are serving for a reasonable price.

okay where can i start first off when i walked in i was greeted with big smiles and very nice girls one girl sat my group and told us "enjoy" . our server was so polite. one thing i really dislike about fogo de chao in miami is that i believe they are the managers that they have no respect , the blonde elder guy is always walking around with a suspicious look and very serious FREAKS ME OUT sometimes i feel like approaching him about his look , the other younger man is always running around everywhere and i spoke to him once and he speaks so sarcastic like if he doesnt care what im saying he just agrees with any and everything ... i will NEVER be back to this restuarant due to the uncomfortable service the managers give . oh and one time i asked one of the hostess what are the prices for kids and she kindly helped me while she was explaining the prices the blonde guy i believe his name is alceu jumped in our conversation without saying excuse me or nothing HES SO RUDE and he smells ... sorry i nor my family will be back to fogo de chao !!!!!

If you want your New Years Eve dinner or whatever party to be ruined, you definitely have to go to this place. We were waiting for 25 minutes to be seated, although we had reservation. It appeared that the hostess didnt give us the signal button that showed when was our turn. When we finally had our table, we saw there were several vacant tables, but they managed to create a huge waiting line in the lobby. The food is less than acceptable, nothing in comparison to Texas de Brazil. Hostesses were rude, atmosphere wasnt a New Years Eve fairytale at all. Our conclusion - total disappointment not worth going there again.

It is a Brazilian steakhouse, not much to review in terms of the food, it is pretty much guaranteed you will like a few things they offer. the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I had a few stretches of time where our table was ignored despite having the green light for more food. We were seated in a corner, but it shouldnt stop us from being offered different types of meat. Besides that almost everything we tried was great, and that which wasnt we just left alone. Would try to get a table in the middle of the restaurant If I were to go again.

Went to Fogo with a large group for dinner on a Saturday night. If you have never been, its all you can eat meat, along with a salad bar and some delicious cheese bread. I think there are 12 different cuts of meat (perhaps more) and servers walk around and slice off as much as you want whenever you want. All of the cuts of meat were good and some excellent. You have to ask for medium rare (etc) if that is what you want and they will bring it. Overall the food is excellent and the service good. Drinks are pricey as is the entire experience.

Visiting Miami for a few weeks and we happened to see signs for something called "The Spice of Miami". It was a group of restaurants that got together to offer fixed menus and lower than normal prices. After reviewing the menus online we decided to give Fogo due Chao a try. I was extremely impressed. The salad bar was fantastic, and the Brazilian buffet was open to us even as customers of Miami spice. The food was delicious, the servers were attentive and the atmosphere was very refined. Very impressed and would definitely eat here again.

If youre in the mood for steak, Fogo de Chao is the only place to go. Forget Prime, Red, Gotham and all the others on Miami Beach. The salad bar alone is worth the "price of admission". Ive been several times and the quality of the service and meat has never waivered. Excellent location, excellent service, and excellent execution. I couldnt recommend this place highly enough; as a previous reviewer stated, its not cheap but worth every penny!
