Awesome food & decent price! Finally theres a great indian restaurant in beach area! Worth the little trip from South Beach even! (plenty of public parking spaces nearby & free parking after 6pm or you can take uber). Staff super friendly and serve food very quickly! Heres what Ive tried: (veggie dishes only) - Malai Kofta: the best malai kofta Ive had. Crispy veggie balls dip in creamy onion-tomato gravy. Definitely cook fresh (comparing to pre-cook veggie balls and they got mushy in the gravy). If you like spicy food, dont forget to ask for "medium spicy"! - Bullet Naan: garlic naan + red crush pepper on the top. soft and crispy fresh over baked naan, roasted garlic brings the smell and the taste to another level! (If you dont like spicy food, just ask for garlic naan) - Mango Lassi : full of flavor, not too sweet. very authentic! - Papadum: dont forget to ask for fresh fried Papadum! try the amazing sauces: Chutney (green), a tamarind one (red and sweet), and a red chili one (spicy) *** please notice that they dont open until 1pm, which is kind of "late". Few other times my friend and I were very hungry at regular lunch time / weekend brunch time and had to go to other places instead. Really hope they can open at 12pm at least.

It astounds me how empty this place is both during the week and on the weekend. I cant complain for myself, because that cuts down the wait time significantly, but a business putting out food this good should be packed every night! Taste Buds of India offers a wide variety of familiar Indian staples. On offer are your paneers, your tikka masalas, your extensive selection of naan breads, as well as some not-so-familiar savory chaats. On a diet? Dine to your hearts content, this is one of the few places I look forward to eating my vegetables at. While the wait times can be a little long, two TVs offer a comprehensive Bollywood music video playlist and the servers are attentive to topping up drinks and providing guests with a sort of papadum with chutney as a free starter. The food has always been worth the wait. Flavors are vibrant, nothing tastes like it has been sitting under a heating lamp. My only complaint with the food is that the chefs seems hesitant to make things hotter when asked. I have several times ordered "Indian extra spicy" and been unable to discern the heat difference from the "medium". Taste Buds of India definitely qualifies for a real hidden gem.

I actually found this place looking through Groupon. I went there with my family and have to say we loved it. We traveled to London this summer and thought we had the best Indian food there, but we all had the admit, this was the closest weve had in the states. Weve tried the Taste Buds of India in Fort Lauderdale and found the Beach location to be better. For starters, my 10 year who loves Indian food had the Tikka Marsala ordered from the kids menu (not forced to order the tradition chicken tenders and fries from the kids menu), my wife and I ordered the Butter Chicken and Tandor Chicken (came out on a sizzling platter). We usually take home leftovers when we eat out, but not on this visit...we cleaned our plates! We ordered everything with a medium spiciness and thought the flavors were balanced perfectly. This place is definitely a hidden jewel on the beach, but hiding in plain sight. Definitely worth checking out...especially if youre a fan of Indian cuisine. No disappointments here

Just finished my first meal from Taste Buds of India... I called in a Togo order pretty late, and crossed my fingers. Ive gotten so use to the mediocre at best Indian food in central Miami... Man am I happy I decided to try this place, its not just good on a for Miami level, the food here competes globally for great casual Indian food!! The garlic nan was perfect The rice was pillowy The veggie samosas were perfection ( great tamarind sauce and chuntney) My Palak Paneer was perfect and my husbands Spicy Vindaloo was great! I plan to go back soon, and often!

This is as authentic as it gets to traditional Indian food in North Beach. Their timing, portions, service, quality of food is great. They have an interesting Mango lassi if your a mango lover its made with the real deal. Their naan bread variety sampler is on point. I am a sucker for Butter Chicken and it delivered 100% as it is made with tandoori dark meat which made it even better. Cant wait to go back this place is a must try. Only flaw is the music is a bit too loud so dont sit next to the speaker.

Hands down the best eatery in the area for all your Indian food fixings and cravings. Succulent and mouth watering is an understatement. The malai kofta and korma dishes are always aromatic, creamy, and velvety as well as all the vegetarian dishes on their menu Ive tried so far. Please do yourself a favor, do not miss the "bullet" naan. Best in the area! Excellent ambience with Bollywood and music videos playing on the large screens. Friendly staff to boot. 5+ stars.

Weve lived in Miami for over 20 years and have been amazed by the lack of even mediocre Indian food. We found the food, service and prices to be on par with our favorite places up north. Chicken Tikka Masala was exceptional Kashmiri naan yum. Mater Paneer isnt on the menu but they tried to accommodated our request - not a highlight though. If you are a Primecard member, they offer a nice discount too. Love TBOI.

Great Indian food with a nice and competent service. The butter naan was great and the dishes they all tasted great (spinach and cheese, chicken tikka masala and some lamb dish), with hearty, tasty sauces and fluffy white rice. Expect to pay around 30 / person if you get some beers along

Food was great, service TERRIBLE, so I ordered delivery and it took an hour and a half and I got cold food...I live less than a mile away. When I called (3 times) they let it go to voice-mail. $38 for 1 cold dish and bread, and they dont have the courtesy to pick up the phone. Awful.

Food is authentic Indian cuisine but be prepared for long waits to be served anything. We had to ask for water 4 times and the management was very poor. If you could handle a very poor service but still is up for delicious food then please go ahead.
