Las he probado mucho mejores.

I tried the sushi here. It may be an exaggeration to say that it was the worst that Ive ever had in all my years. May be. It was almost inedible. The taste was bland and watery, lacked freshness (I think the Ikura was well past the sell-by date), and the nori was stale. Its not acceptable to serve food this bad. The management should stick to Thai food. So, though its possible that the Thai food is acceptable, stay far away from the sushi. This restaurant looks a little shabby on the outside, but is quaint and well appointed on the inside. The service was polite, but not friendly. I suspect a strong language barrier made small talk difficult. Though there were more staff members than patrons in the restaurant, they managed to make mistakes both with my order and the order of the only other customer.

The best place to go for lunch (only $6.99) or dinner in North Beach. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy because of the decor and especially because the people working there are very welcoming and attentive. One feels right at home when dining at Sawaddee. Food is excellent and priced just right. You can BYOB since they do not serve alcoholic beverages and I find that a plus because it give me the freedom to choose excellent wines (at the wine store) at an affordable price. And they do not charge the corkage fee. It is one of the few places I recommend to people who are looking for good Thai food and a relaxed atmosphere. I have been going to Sawaddee since it open more than 10 years ago.

This is definitely a place to go for dinner! My family and I visited here after a recommendation from a staff member at our hotel and I have to say that I was a little skeptical because of the restaurants appearance, but you cant always judge a book by its cover. The Pad Thai was excellent, the flavor is just right and blends right in with the sauce. I ordered the Spider Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll and the Dragon Roll and it mightve been one of the best sushi I have ever tasted. Anyone who comes to Miami must come here! The staff is so kind and nice, the food was delicious, though it is a little pricy, for the time that they took - which was really short - was completely worth it.

I eat at Sawadee at least 3 times a month. The red curry is my favorite, but any of the other dishes are also great. Prices are relatively low for the area. The staff is friendly, but needs some additional training. The head chef, Mariam, is very friendly and willing to please if you have a special order. She also makes great sushi rolls. The ambiance is intimate; there are only a few tables, but the decor is pleasant and people keep their voice level low enough to be comfortable with each other. Parking is not a problem. For the money, I consider it the best buy in Thai food in Miami. I recommend it highly.

Went there for the 4th and final time and had a terrible experience. Promised ourselves we wouldnt go back after strike 3, but its right around the corner from my house and i couldnt resist the convience! We were not given water until we asked several times and recieved it about the same time as our entrees. No utensils/napkins etc were given until several requests. soup & entrees were cold which we just ate because we were starving. The rolls were pretty good so that was a plus. Overall not worth it at all for the $$$$. I think we have given this place more than enough times for redemption, but were done!

This restaurant could not have had better Pad Thai or better service the two times we went here. We read the reviews online and were unsure at first, but after going here our first night in Miami, Saturday, we were not disappointed. We ended up getting their coconut shrimp and two orders of pad Thai, one mild and one medium, to test their spice levels. Both were very balanced. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the meal and service so much, we went two days later again, on a weekday, and again, were treated to a great meal and very friendly staffers. This is definitely a great, inexpensive dinner option.

Love love love this place! Their food and service is consistently wonderful! Small restaurant space but they have outdoor seating and they deliver. Lunch is a great deal. I got the Panang Chicken with white rice, which came with an egg roll and soup for $10.95. Every time I eat this dish I cant wait to eat it again! Sooo good!!! Ive eaten from Sawaddee many, many times and tried tons of dishes and the food is ALWAYS good and the service is always nice... dinner is a little more expensive but, you just get more of what you love.

Ive been here many times and enjoyed it every time. On 04/18/16 around 6:30pm I went here and ordered a few things including a Pad Thai dish. It did not taste right after a few bites I decided not to finish it. Paid over $50 dollars for the whole meal. By 10:00pm my stomach was in pain, and 2 days later Im still nursing myself back form both diarrhea and vomitting. I dont know whats going on here with Miami restaurants that over charge and serve mediocre food. This was one place I enjoyed until now. BE Cautious!

Cute, simple authentic place for thai. Lunch is very affordable for delicious, fresh and great tasting plates with nice presentation. I would be happy to take my mom here. I had the ginger chicken for lunch... it was delicious with distinct fresh flavors in every item on the plate. And very affordable. I dont live in the area but this will be my first choice the next time Im around! Great little place.... waiting for desert now...

This is my favorite Thai place in all of Miami. Its a hole in the wall establishment thats well off the beaten path yet the red curry/pad thai/sushi/pad see ewe/etc etc. are simply delightful. I actually fear reviewing this place because then others might discover the hidden joys of Sawadee.... As an added bonus (not as though it needs it), its BYOB w/o corkage fees.
