We were in Miami for a week last July and dined at Otentic based on the great Yelp reviews. Well, we were not disappointed... we ended up dining here 3 times that week and loved every meal! It is hard to find a quality French bistro that is reasonably priced with great service. By our third visit, we were given a couple of free glasses of wine. It was really nice touch. FYI, I lived in NYC for a few years and still have an office there--so its not like I havent been to my fair share of bistros. Anyway, we decided to vacation in Miami again this summer. We are going to stay at the Loews this year instead of the Fontainebleau so we would be closer to Otentic (and a few other spots we loved).

After reading a ton of reviews, my husband and I decided to try this place out. BEST DECISION EVER! We were welcomed with complimentary white wine. Our server was attentive and very kind. I had the French dinner (started with 6 escargot, roasted duck over vegetables, and finished with crème brûlée). My husband had pork fillet. The escargot reminds me of the ones I had in Paris. The duck was perfectly cooked. The crème brûlée was divine and a beautiful note to finish on with a cappuccino. So creamy! The pork was so tender, moist, and flavorful! The prices are super reasonable for South Beach. We were too stuffed to get more pastries but we look forward to coming back!

Best restaurant in Miami. Service is incredible. 4-5 star food at 2 star prices. Huge escargot (8 pieces) for only 10 dollars, unheard of! Had a wonderful 8 oz steak for only $12, I would have compared it to a $30 steak at most other restaurants. Very small intimate restaurant and the owner is wonderful. Wine is very cheap as well, I would say only marked up 50%, unlike the usual 300%. Get the cheese platter, it is GIGANTIC, me and my girlfriend were unable to finish it as an appetizer as it was full of huge blocks of wonderful cheese, we had to save room for the rest of our meal. Would go back to Miami just to eat here again.

The best French restaurant in south beach! I have eaten here so many times and tried almost every dish and I can tell they are all delicious with particular attention to details. They really try to make the customer happy and offer complimentary stuff. The main server (Russian lady I believe) is very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend the rib eye steak with gratin potato and roasted chicken. The asparagus and lentil soups are my favorite. Deserts are also delicious. Lunch special, which ends at 4, is s great deal. For under $15 you get a soup with French bread, entree, desert and complimentary drink+ water. No brained!

COME HERE!! This place is amazing and the service is the best in Miami. We came in around 10:30PM for a late dinner. Our waiter started us out with complimentary flute of white wine and a toasted bread with olive spread appetizer. We ordered the escargot, Steak Maurice, and otentic pasta. I really loved how the escargot was presented. Even the oil based sauce on the plate was delicious with the complimentary bread. The Steak Maurice was slightly overdone, but the mushroom sauce it comes with is finger licking good. Get the otentic pasta!! This was literally the best pasta Ive had in my entire life!

Tried Orangina for the first time. Amazing. Its like an orange soda, but its 12% juice. The menu is pretty good. Avg meal is affordable and delicious. Plus its a great spot to hang out with a couple of friends and maybe share some wine. The outdoor area is comfortable, not too exposed to the street, but you still get a great colorful view of passers by. The food is prepared with a french touch, as well as the music they play. Oh and last but not least, there is free WIFI available, which is a great plus to travelers.

Bonne adresse, bonne carte, un verre de vin et une tapenade en apéritif sont proposés, le moelleux au chocolat manque un peu de moelleux et le café du café gourmand doit être demandé lors de la commande sinon seules les mignardises seront apportées.

Otentic is a must for anything looking to dine in the Miami area. The menu, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all have great options at reasonable prices. I had filet mignon that was the best I have had in a long time. All of the meals came with well sized portions and the meal starts off with a complimentary tasting of wine and tapenade. Who doesnt like that?! The wait staff were very nice and the food came quickly. Dont miss out on dining here!

This little french restaurant will surprise just about anyone that comes in here. It is very small; but the food is by far the best french cuisine that I have seen in Miami. I had the escargot and it will succulent, and then had a steak for an entree. Dont judge a book by its cover this place looks very small from the outside, and only seats like 20-30 people but the food and service more than make up for it. Go here you will not be disappointed.

Omg where do I start? The food is beyond amazing! The Gratin creamy potato and classic ratatouille was so good! The music is perfect French, the white wine and ambiance! Service is execellent, had a little chat with Greg to learn more about the restaurant! Im obsessed with everything French and this is truly s little escape away from France! This is our first visit to Miami beach and will come back again next time were here!!

Finally, a Miami restaurant that isnt a tourist trap! My wife and I recently had dinner at Otentic, it would be our best meal in Miami. My steak was cooked perfect, the pork filet was delicious and the sides were fantastic. Our waiter stopped by often and made sure that everything was going well and helped us pick out a bottle of wine that was in our budget. And a nice atmosphere on top of it all. Great restaurant!

Absolutely a must!!! It stimulates all the senses from the array of flavors in all of their dishes to the detail in presentation made apparent with the decor, service & food. The environment sets the pace & its easy to forget where you are or what you have to do. The staff is super friendly & accommodating. I highly reccomend Otentic, there really is no other place like it in South Florida.

This was the best dining experience Ive had in South Beach to-date. I ordered the Farmer Steak, which was perfectly prepared (ordered "medium"). The atmosphere was awesome - dim lights, very well-crafted rustic interior, spacious and comfortable seating. The tables and seats are arranged so that -- even at capacity -- nobody feels cramped. Will definitely eat here again!
