I dont know whats the peoples problem by giving this restaurant a negative review but my suggestion is that they cannot handle real authentic hardcore Indian food. I have been to India and back several times and my suggestion is from all the other restaurants this is the most authentic tasting Indian food that brings me back to when I was in India. My suggestion is to ignore these negative suggestions and you should come here and try the Indian food yourself to see what real authentic Indian food taste like and not americanize food acquiring to fit the taste buds of people from America. If you want to taste what REAL Indian food really is like when your in India then I recommend anyone to come to this restaurant. I give this restaurant 5 of 5 stars for not only the look of the restaurant but mainly for bring the authentic taste of Indian food to South Florida. Hands down top Indian restaurant in South Florida. Dont believe me? Well you dont need to just come and see for yourself.

I was looking Indian food in South Beach I found a fantastic restaurant called Bombay grill I was their on Friday for lunch "I was sitting next to four ladies and they r talking about the food was do expensive . In fact the server took the order same time ours and theirs ,their food came first and they finished and asked the bill ,I was curious why this grumpy ladies complaint about is expensive and they finished and left over took with them . I am sure they saw the menu ,they decided to eat .if dam expensive they should have left because it is their wish .any way these ladies r very funny . Folks foodie livers believe the food was excellent and the service very good and attentive .in America you get what you pay .instead of supporting fellow countrymen and their hard core business they give bad opinion We were four and our bill was 87 and the food was good why should we complaint ? ?

Please please dont go to this place...very rude staff. No parking place. We had paid for the parking first and then went to the restaurant to receive a very unwelcoming and unpleasant behavior from the staff. First of all its a very small place. I guess they have only 4-5 tables. When we went, one of them was vacant... But with only 3 chairs. We were 4 adults with 2 kids so we requested the staff to add one chair (which was very much possible) so that 2 kids and their mommy can sit and feed them. But even looking at kids staff didnt bother to allow us to accommodate the table. Two of us would have happily waited ( after looking at the rating this restaurant got on Google ) until a bigger table was available. I would never recommend to anyone else now. If you want to eat Indian food try other restaurants.

We were in Miami for the 3rd day, 4 Indian friends on a vacation. On the 3rd day we really started missing some spicy Indian food so we decided to go to Bombay grill as it had good reviews. We called them to ask about parking,as we are new to this city and we were not aware if they have free or paid parking. The person who answered the call was really rude. But stomach rules. So we still decided to head to Bombay grill. On checking the menu, everything was super expensive. Entrees are $15.99 each and curries were $17.99 each. The quantity of curry served for this amount was highly disappointing. It was enough for a single person. The naan were really small too, first time in the entire US I have seen naan the size of the phulka roti! Food was tasty, but it was a disappointing experience overall.

I have never seen such rude and inconsiderate services in any restaurant! We ordered one naan because we were still hungry and I was told that it will take long so they cannot make it. I asked for Tamarind Chutney and I was asked "why do you want it?" I also asked for salt and they said it would take time. Are they making the salt at the restaurant!? The food wasnt good either. It had no taste or spice. Getting in the restaurant was also hard, parking is on the street and inconvenient. Once you get in the restaurant it is very small and congested. No space to walk. On top of all of that, this restaurant is very expensive!! I do not recommend this restaurant at all. Do not go to this restaurant.

I have been to many Indian restaurants everywhere including in the U.K. And in India. Indian based food is a favourite of mine. This restaurant although centrally based in South Beach is dreadful. The food there tastes of some kind of residual metallic flavor, and has no authentic feel at all. They dont do peshwari nans and the garlic one they offered was over cooked and tasteless. The vegetable samosas were dreadful as the vegetables seemed mushy and not fresh at all. Overall not a place to visit unless you just dont care what you eat. The pice was very high, $60 for one person including one beer and not including the service charge. I hope the owner reads this review and improves the offering

“Guess, hype is not that worth. Ok food...” We searched some good Indian food, Bombay darbar was far so decided to go here nearby ocean drive. The ambience is good. Service was bit on the slower side. The portion is not big as it used to any other Indian rest in the USA. We ordered chicken tawa-shrimp tikka masala-dal tadka-kasturi kabab. Dal tadka- plz it was mix veg with daal. Never seen Gobhi in dal tadka. It was also blunt in taste and I asked for spicy dal tadka and they mixed green chilii, means come on Dude. Kasturi kabab was good and so was shrimp masala. Pros- near to beach/ ocean drive It’s safe to go there. But if you have the option to go some nice rest then avoid it

These guys are plunder pirates. The worst place ever to go when you want some good food, The worst ever attitude you can find in a restaurant is in this place. The biryani they will serve is fit for kids (may be infants). The chicken they served me was literally raw (was not properly cooked). They treat you like trash if you give your comments. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. I am giving 1 star cause yelp doesnt allow you to write reviews without a star rating. They do not have a parking space so you may have to park your vehicle and walk for 5-10 min. Cause it can be hard to find a parking spot in this location.

My family and I are Indian food fanatics, and we feel like this place makes the best fare weve had. The quality of the ingredients is top notch. Im always finding big chunks of cardamom, anise, and bay leaves. The portions are large, they fill the wine to the top of the glass, and the rice is smoked. The staff are always friendly with us, and even give us extra entrées and naan on the house. Once, the owner gave us DVDs because our kids loved so much the films they were showing. We are locals, so have been going there for a while. When we order for delivery, theyre very quick. We love this place!! :) PS- Get the okra!
