I am in love. L-O-V-E....this little diamond in the rough has won my heart, my stomach and my attention. Recently renovated, this place is ever so cute. An added patio, new flooring and some fresh paint.....this place is bursting with character. I love it! Nestled off Detroit Rd between two buildings, you could easily miss it. SO KEEP AN EYE OUT. The owner/manager of this place is lively and full of energy. Friendly, inviting and goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. His positive attitude was absolutely infectious and his customer service skills are top notch. The place is clean, updated and gives you a good feeling inside....and I aint just talking about how you feel after you eat. I wanted to sit here for hours and just relax. The lunch buffet with a ton of selections for only $10.50? YES PLEASE! Featuring at least 4 VEGAN dishes, several vegetarian and plenty of meat lovers dishes....anyone can find something to love here. Here is a breakdown of everything I tried on the buffet: 1) The Naan here is to die for. I mean, I am not sure what they do....but, I am certain they add crack to this stuff. It is fluffy and chewy and just plain mmmmmm. Dip this stuff in their plum sauce and you have a foodasm folks. Plain and simple. 2) Mango ChickenCcurry. Wow, what a perfect blend of spices and sweet. I love the subtle mango flavor in this dish....and that curry adds the kick it needs. Tender and juicy dark meat make this saucy dish so very flavorful. 3) Tandoori Chicken. I always laugh when I see this stuff.....because it looks fake. That beautiful red color makes the chicken look like the stuff youd get in the kids play grocery carts. But dont let the appearance fool you. Full of flavor and very juicy, this grilled Indian chicken dish is bursting with a sweet flavor. 4) Cabbage and Peas. Seems simple right? NO WAY. This dish was bursting with flavor. AND it was vegan. The cabbage was cooked perfectly. Not too squishy nor too hard. The peas were plump and al dente....not mushy like baby food. And the spice? It was nice and spicy....YES. Perfection! 5) Baingan Bhartha. This stuff is like mashed potatoes. But better because it is eggplant. A beautiful texture and flavor, this stuff doesnt disappoint. The subtle onion and Indian spices really make this dish awesome. Not quite a soup and not quite mashed potato consistency. I loved the texture of this stuff. One of my hands down favorites. This stuff was vegan as well. 6) Chicken Tikka Masala. O-M-G! This was my favorite of all the of chicken options. The creamy orange colored sauce and the juicy chicken in this dish were off the charts. I could eat this by the bowl full. It was AMAZING! This place is my new favorite Indian joint. I am super stoked to come back for another lunch buffet. WOOHOO!

Not only is this the best Indian restaurant in the greater Cleveland area, it may well be the best restaurant period. There prices are good, their service is excellent, and their food is downright amazing. They bring complimentary papadum with two sauces, a sweet, mild sauce and a spicy mint and pepper sauce. Bear in mind, this sauce is considered a 6/10 on their spicy scale. Thats barely more than medium. I once accidentally ordered a 6/4 at a Thai restaurant and ate it all. I like spicy. I get a 4 at India Garden. My girlfriend gets a zero and loves it. The most amazing part of this is that they are able to take any dish and make a consistent, 10 point gradient scale of spicy and it doesnt taste like they just added x teaspoons of red pepper, it tastes like it was cooked from scratch with those spices included. I live in Cleveland Heights and drive 40 minutes across town to go here, even though there are probably 10 Indian restaurants within a 10 minute drive of me. Seriously the best. And their Naan is the best Ive ever had anywhere. Light and bubbly with just the right amount of crispness. The decor of the restaurant is nice as well. You would feel comfortable wearing shorts and sandals or a full suit. Its not formal by any means, but you could dress up and bring a date and have a very romantic dinner, or you could come in after a long day at the beach. Ive done both. Go here.

If I could have given 0 reviews, then I would have. Normally wherever Indian restaurants I have visited the staff and the food is usually good but sad to say thats not the case here. The server was rude, and when the owner came and asked (mind you we did not ask for him), came and started telling it was our mistake and we dont respect indians thats why we are telling things about his server! I am sorry but this is not how you treat the customers. Moreover, the food was not at all good, even the ladies on the next table did not enjoy the food, and when we said about them not liking the food, the owner just scoffed them saying they r just aunties! Not cool! While we r having the food, the Waiters come and take away the papad (while we r still eating) take away the chatni, and do not even talk nicely. And lastly they even bloody slammed the door which is the height of rudeness. So sorry but this restaurant deserves a BIG BAN ! Definately not going again and would tell all the people, especially Indians, if you are looking for good Indian food, DO NOT GO THERE! He also degraded his own community by saying its only the Indians who do that, well if you cant respect any people despite their origin, you dont deserve to make the same food.

I do not want to give any rating to this restaurant. First of all this Indian restaurant owner only serve well to American not to any Indian. Recently I visited Cleveland for my office work and went to this restaurant for Dinner. First of all they didnt serve Papadam and to my surprise every American came after me waiter gave them Papadam. I asked this things to my Waiter and he said that he doesnt know ask Owner. I did not bother to ask anything and gave lowest tip possible to him. So It counts what color of your skin in this restaurant then anywhere else. Food was below average especially their expensive and Bad taste Soup. Overall Food was expensive compare to Indian food you get in USA. I better be eating Chinese or Thai food for getting spiceness instead of visiting this crapy restaurant. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone especially to any Indians.

Worst restaurant experience We ever had. We went on Friday night and waited 20 minutes for them to sit us down. They had many of the empty tables but I dont why they made US wait there, we waited for long enough time and finally left without service.. Apparently the As***le owner and the dumb Fu****ng staff are rude to Indians and in their restaurant all they want is American customers. They are Rude to Indians no doubt. I ate their food once and I dont know why i went again. Any real Indian would know that their food is not authentic Indian food. They fool the Americans by serving them stale Indian food. But since the Americans get better service they dont realize it. If you want real Indian food I would not recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of other good restaurants in Cleveland area.
