Holy Moly!! First I will say I had never heard of Cuisine of India. We were actually heading to North Olmstead when I found this restaurant online and read the reviews. Let me say, do NOT let the location fool you. When we pulled up and saw it, I was leary but starving. From the moment we walked in we were so surprised, great looking inside and the employees were super friendly. We had nothing bad!! The Paneer Masala, Dhall Mahkini were delicious. The rogan was absolutely to die for, more goat than bones! Briyani was divine. We also had some kind of chicken with lemon wedge that the server recommended as we wanted to try something new. Truly they were laughing at how much we ordered, but we only get to go for Indian maybe once a month. Portions were huge, we have never had such big portions served, we literally snacked that night and had lunch the next day. The owner/chef came out to speak to us as we were finishing and wanted to know how we found them and how we liked the food. We told him to open a one near us! Hands down this is now going to be our go to Indian restaurant, 40 minute drive is worth every minute. I will say they are spot on with their spice level, if you dont want a need for a fire extinguisher, stick to 5 or 6! Thanks for a great meal, cant wait to see you again!

If this is the "Best Indian Food in Cleveland" then I was disappointed. I did like the food and I would probably eat there again but it wasnt the best. I wasnt pleased with the value. If I pay 15.95 for shrimp curry, and I need to ask for more rice to finish my entree, do you think I should have to pay an extra 2.95 for the rice I need to finish my entree? I think not. I have been to other Indian restaurants, paid less for shrimp curry (like 12.95 or 13.95) and gotten bigger shrimps, and I did not have to pay for extra rice. Im glad I was told I would be charged for more rice though. My wife had shrimp sagwala. She didnt finish her dish because we ran out of rice. Shrimps werent big enough for the price. This restaurant does have an accurate hot scale. The waitress helped us order on their hot scale. We ordered a 6 and glad not a 7. It was spicy hot at 6. We might go back if in town but I will look for a different Indian restaurant to try next time.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in the Cleveland area. We reached the place by 9.00 M, which is when the chaat closes. But, my husband told the waitress that one of the main reasons for coming there was the chaat. The person making the chaat agreed to make chaat for us. And boy, were they yummy! That was simply the best chaat I had eaten outside of India. They boast of a menu that serves Jain food! We did order one of the jain subzis and it was tooo good! The gobi manchurian here is the best, we had tried it earlier for a party. The owner takes pride in using separate cookware for vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, because he himself is a very strict vegetarian. Vegetarians in this area who are picky about where they eat can never go wrong with this place. The place is clean and the service is great. Everyone working there is very friendly and nice. Over all, this is one place we will go back to.

This restaurant deserves "Zero Stars", If you are planning to visit this restaurant do yourself a favor instead cook yourself some Instant noddles like Maggie you will save yourself a ton of money and a trip. By having good interiors your business will not make money rather make good food. I really dont get it why do people like you get into food industry when they dont have any passion for making healthy and good food. Things that are wrong at this restaurant are: i) Waiters have no clue about the food and there job is not help you. ii) The owner of the restaurant has a very good convincing power to make you feel that you were wrong, which is worse for the business. iii) Food is okay, if you dont have any standards/sense for the quality of the food then go here to experience.

Arun and the girl who serve are least welcoming. If you dont want customers after 9 because your kitchen closes at 9:30 and restaurant at 10! Better put the closed sign before 9. I found a hair in my plate yet no compensation. The only thing good about the restaurant is the TV and Hindi songs. Food is good too but the service is very poor especially the waiters dont make you feel comfortable. They make faces and a bad attitude. Quick suggestion: if you are understaffed please add waiters. I understand you guys get tired and all. The owner should staff more. And the customer should not be the one who is affected. Terrible experience. Dont go here after 9 they will treat you as if you are going to eat without paying!

This was the first time we had been to Cuisine of India, as I live on the East side and am partial to The Saffron Patch.Cuisine of India offers American servers, very sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. The owner was observed checking on guests and appeared to be a very hospitable and gracious man. Indian people comprised 60 percent of the diners, which in our opinion speaks of the authenticity and quality of the food. I love spicy food, my boyfriend does not. I requested spice level 6 on my chicken curry (which I highly recommend!) and it was on the verge of being too spicy- perfect for my preference; but a bit too much for him. My boyfriend and I both flag this as the best Indian restaurant in Cleveland!

I worked for this place and it was disgusting, not to mention the fact that they talked about how dumb and messy the Americans that ate there were. They didnt allow us to use bacterial spray for the tables (I was actually yelled at for using Awesome spray) just the same smelly rag with water. There were more than a few incidents with mice including one in the vacuum cleaner (alive) and one in the restaurant that they had killed while people were eating around them. The soda machine isnt even cleaned regularly. There was an incident before when crumbs and dirt was actually falling into peoples drinks and they still served them. Its honestly so gross and most of the food isnt even fresh, its just preheated.

First of all the waiters here are very bad mannered... one of them was a lady. She is rude and arrogant. Greeting the customer was a far cry, didnt even come back and ask us once whether the food was ok or not... I felt she was forced to serve us. even when we were leaving, no one came and thanked. These are normal etiquette of any resturant. I dont know how they got job. We asked for one bhuna ghost and one shrimp. Both of them were supposed to be served with basmati rice. But they served only one rice. Taste was ok. Little overpriced. But the two waiters specially the lady messed up entire charm of dinner. Who wants to be treated poorly in a resturant where you are paying from your pocket...
