this is one of the worst indian food i have eaten in last 40 years; we ordered butter chicken; I can make better food than that; please donot spoil indian tradition to make dollars; we ordered chicken and mutton bryani- no where in India, any good cook mix capsicum to it; horrible ; if you all know this food is not made by Indian cooks, you may not visit this place; they have cheap labors from neighboring countries and cheating the customers; when I called the restaurant , he mentioned that the same cook from the neighboring countries is with them for 20 years; at least he was honest to accept that they are not Indian cooks; but he was rude and not apologetic; no wonder hardly you can find any Indians dining there. please avoid such cheating restaurant ; I am going to report to the local authorities ; unfortunately no zero stars for me to rate

Ive never had Indian cuisine before, and was looking to expand my horizons. They actually have a sampler (Milan special) you can order for that very idea in mind, which was perfect. So Im trying these different dishes and watching Westworld finally (ordered take out), and Im just blown away by the food. It was all new to me, but it was delicious. So there was this strange delay in my brain thinking "Wait what is this?" And "Oh man this is good!!!" I cant wait to go back and try more, as well as get more of the same from last night. And thank you to the chefs/Milan for the great experience! Keep it up!

superb!!! I didnt know what to expect when walking up to go eat at milan. The shopping center surrounding it is rundown, so I figured the inside would be too. I was so wrong!! I walked in and was amazed at how clean and lovely it was! The tables are all decorated and the whole restaurant is decorated so nice. It was my first experience with indian food and I loved it!! The food was extremely flavorful!! I cant wait to go back! It is a little more expensive, but I think it depends on what you order. You should def. Give them a try!!

This place is fantastic. A gem of a little hole in the wall restaurant. I have never had Indian food in my life and I went with a group of people who all had. I wasnt expecting to like it at all but I honestly loved it. I the chicken korma and I also got an order of naan with it. AMAZING. My boyfriend got the Butter Chicken (similar to Tikka Masala, which they obviously also have) and he couldnt believe how amazing it was. I will definitely be coming back here in the near future. YUM!

Never had Indian food elsewhere, so I cant compare, but if this is truly Indian food, Im moving to India. The lunch buffet is my fav. A nice selection of exotic foods, some spicy, some sweet, all of it GOOD! Staff is attentive and courteous. Price is wonderful for buffet. With a large family I dont need to worry of breaking the bank. Atmosphere is wonderful, real cloth tablecloths, beautifully decor, and the smells are like heaven.

As someone who doesnt generally like Indian food, I was looking to branch out tonight and my girlfriend and I decided to give Milan a try since its reviews were pretty good. We were not disappointed. The food is excellent (I highly recommend naan with your meal), and while the service could be a bit better, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and plan on coming back!

Change in ownership 4-5 years ago has led to change in more positive reviews. Had amazing food there just last night. (Be aware that the website linked currrently is in the processes of being changed according to the owner and the menu is different- it might just be worth it to call in instead of looking there until a new one is up and running!)

Ordered out the Fish sampler platter w/ the crab option. Everything was fantastic and the owners were very friendly when I came to pick it up. Could have been spicier. Had I eaten in and it was served hotter and I experienced the service, it is highly possible it would have gotten a 5 star. Very much worth trying it out.

I went twice to this restaurant hoping that i will get better food atleast for the second time. the food here is not so good . i dont understand how come the restaurant management is able to survive, may be because this is the only indian restaurant in this area............... I suggest never visit this place...........

I love this place! It is awesome! My roommate is from India and introduced me to Indian food, which I love. The staff is very helpful, the restaurant is set up very nice, and they will make the spices to meet your preference. If you have not yet been, I suggest that you make tonight a date night and go. :)

I absolutely love the food. You basically have to be open to trying new things to really appreciate this freshly prepared and delicious food. The atmosphere is very subtle and nice place for a date. The staff was very friendly(especially the sweet lady)and attentive. Im glad I tried this place out ;)

My favorite Indian in Lynchburg... well everywhere Ive traveled to be honest. There mint chutney is so much better than other Indian restaurants Im always disappointed. Mango Chicken and Butter Chicken are great but if you can make their buffet youd know everything is pretty good.

Yesterday i have ordered Goat Biryani. Just they mixed Biryani rice and goat curry. I never seen this kind of worst biryani in my entire life. I can prepare better biryani compared to them.I am suggesting to people dont expect taste of indian food from this indian restaurant.

This is very good restaurant, one of the best I have been to. Very surprised to find this quality in Lynchburg. Menu is slightly different from most Indian places I have been to mostly some dishes have different names but the description tells you what you need to know.

Great food and the staff is nice. Its not as spicy as standard Indian food, but thats okay. They understand most people dont want to feel like they are eating fire, but if thats your thing, just ask and they can spice it up for you. And the Kerr is off the hook good.

Food was good. But outside of buffet prices are very expensive like a major urban center. Mango lassy seemed water and missing real mango. Even diet Coke was watered down. As someone who has eaten indian food for over 20 years this experience was greatly lacking.

Indian is my favorite. I come from a town where there were 4 Indian restaurants within 25 miles, and Ive been to a famous one in Quincy Market in Boston. Milan is easily on par with any others that Ive been to. We really are lucky to have them in Lynchburg.

We have been coming here for several years. The spices are toned down to appeal to a greater number of people but the food is still great. The buffet is small but it has a good sampling and its more about quality over quantity.

Buffet is small but nice. Varied, well rounded, well labeled. Food fresh and delicious, very reasonable price. Staff is friendly and attentive. Table settings are a cut above many restaurants but atmosphere is casual.
