This is my favorite spot for hibachi-style dishes. They inherited a space that saw at least three other restaurants fail after a year or less. However, Ichiro seems to have found the formula for success, with both the student population, and locals. Their food always tastes fresh, and the portions are filling. I often make customizations, which they are happy to accommodate. I especially enjoy their hibachi-style veggies, shrimp, and chicken. I frequently make the trek back to Rock Hill just to satisfy my Ichiro cravings!

I got the hibachi shrimp. And when my food was brought out it had a big ol black hair in it and I went up there without making a scene and told them to fix it. So I received another plate and got about half through it and when to go eat my rice and grabbed some with my fork and there it was again, a big ok black hair. I just left without saying anything. Do not eat here!!!

Dont be fooled by the basic, low key decor and ordering at the counter...the Sushi is delicious! So happy we found a good spot near home. The bf tired the hibachi chicken, it was ok. We really love the sushi...in particular the Dancing Eel roll, Ichiro roll, and crispy California roll. Friendly and efficient service and good prices! Definitely try it!!

Ichiro is my favorite place to go for hibachi or teriyaki meals. Its the cheapest and best hibachi Ive ever found. Compared to Redbowl the quality of the food, amount of food, and price is way better. Its only $7-$8 for great quality food. The only downfall is the wait can be about 25 mins but its worth it.

This was excellent I was very surprised. I have food allergies and they managed to avoid all of them and I still had a superb meal. I wish I would have taken a picture kind and courtesy really excellent service, its across from the college they should do real well.

I had the habachi chicken and shrimp and it was amazing! The portions, quality, and taste was better than expected. The only downfall was the wait time. It took 40 min. for me to get my food. Will definitely go back just not after 7pm.

My second time around, and while sushi is very good, unfortunately the hibachi grill falls short. Bland rice, dry chicken, and overcooked vegetables. Plus, some odd, sweet creamy concoction on the side,, which I couldnt figure out.

This is a very good Japanese express restaurant. The food and the sushi are very good. The prices are very reasonable. We really like the call ahead feature and the drive-through window to pick it up.
