Dont waste your time at this dive. Weve been here twice. The first time was within a month of its opening on irb. the food was mediocre, but i figured they still had some kinks to work out. I was excited to try it after a year. Its a bit confusing when you walk in, youre not quite sure where to go or what to do. A few servers walked passed us and ignored us, so i went up to the bar and asked the bartender if it was alright to grab a table, she said go ahead, whatevers open. The place was not busy... only 5 other tables were sat in the whole place. We sat at one of the multiple open tables outside and waited 20 minutes for some service... 3 different servers walked by us a dozen times, but completely ignored us. After 20 minutes we got up and left. I was pretty excited when this place opened because i was looking forward to deep dish within walking distance, but the place is a hot mess... or atleast the waitstaff is. Everytime i drive by theres hardly anyone here, and now i know why lol.

my family and I have been to this restaurant many times. In the past weve always had good service from a handful of different waitresses. The food has always been delicious. Last night we had the owner as our waitress with none of our previous waitresses insight. From the beginning you could tell she was overwhelmed and not that familiar with the menu. Our initial round of drinks and sodas took over 20 minutes to get. After being very patient with her for almost a hour we decided we wanted to just pay our bill and leave. She became increasingly hostile with me when I ask to speak to a manager she informed me very rudely that she was the owner. She was quite frankly the worst service weve ever had. The way she handled the situation with ourselves and tables around us we will never be back. its a shame food is delicious but the ownership and management is horrible

I have heard mixed reviews about this place for a long time, so I finally decided to check it out. I want to begin by saying I am from Chicago, and grew up eating Lou Malnatis, Gino’s East, Giordano’s, Uno’s, and Rosati’s. This is nowhere close to that. If you want true Chicago style deep dish, go to Rosati’s in Largo. Chicago Jaqx is not Chicago style in any way. I assume it was cooked in a pan, although not buttery, like it should be. The pizza did not come out in a pan. The construction of the pizza is way off. The cheese was on top, and the sauce was the wrong kind for proper Chicago deep dish. If you are unaware of the issue with this, then you will probably like Chicago Jaqx. If you are aware, then have fun educating your friends. PS they don’t allow call ins for your “Deep Dish” and they don’t have Old Style!

I have lived 2 blocks from Chicago Jaqx for the last 3 years and never went in because all the locals told me it was a joke, just overpriced frozen pizza. Hurricane Irma just hit and it was a toss up of eating canned raviolis or giving them a shot since everyone else was closed, I should have stuck with the "Chef Boyardee". I ordered a cheeseburger in paradise thin crust pizza for myself and daughter and a burger for my son... $35 later we were handed a Totinos frozen pizza like I ate in college with Mayyyybe a tablespoon of toppings and a sad looking soggy, mushy burger wrapped in tinfoil, no fries, no nothing. Lesson learned, not another cent of my money will ever be spent there again.

went for the $2 burgers we heard about ...No Love put into the food, service was slow, burgers were very well done although asked for medium, charged an extra .70 for cheese, .70 for 3 tiny broken pieces of bacon and .50 for a piece of wilted lettuce, fries could have been good but grease was too hot, crispy outside, barely cooked inside, the only good deal was the house beer for $1. Perhaps the pizza is good but after spending $26 for 4 hockey pucks wont put in the effort or should I say gamble on any other items on the menu...with so many great places to eat on the beach dont think they will last long unless the make changes

Traditional Chicago deep dish takes up to 40 minutes to cook so the restaurant will let you call ahead. Not this place. Its probably because their deep dish is just a pan pizza where they put the cheese on the bottom. The crust was super doughy and not cooked all the way through. Only reason we went was because of Groupon $25.50 option for family meal. But the check came and we got hit for an additional $40! That was 2 beers, ice tea, marinara sauce, and upcharge to deep dish from pan even though the picture on Groupon was clearly their deep. That means final bill was $65 for large pizza, salad, and garlic knots.

We stopped in with some friends for a couple drinks and to catch up. the atmosphere here is welcoming and they have a nice front porch with unique swinging seats that border the front. It adds a cool curiosity factor. The interior is adequately sized with the bar top all the way toward the back. The bar top is a small bar seating about 5-7 patrons. Although we did not order any food I over heard a couple of tables complimenting how good the pizza was and other items on the menu. Seems like locals frequent this place which gives it a nice hometown feel.

You only get one chance to make a first impression, and unfortunately, Chicago Jaqx failed miserably. I waited at least fifteen minutes for a hot dog with sauerkraut. For $4.90 I expected much more than a microwaved. shriveled up 2 ounce frankfurter that was at least 2 inches longer than the plain frankfurter bun. I have purchased better franks at the gas station for less than half the price. The man who approached from the kitchen looked disdainful. I told him I had no time to argue, so he went away without a word. I ate the dog, never to return ....

I had a groupon to get the family meal (Large 2-topping deep dish pizza, a family salad, and an order of garlic knots) which I had already paid for. The food was average, nothing special. Then when she brought the bill it was $26.00. I told her I already paid for the groupon that I should only have to pay for drinks since we didnt order anything extra. She argued with me for a good 20 minutes about the bill. I finally just paid it and left. Very rude & unprofessional. I would have rather ate Papa Johns. I will NOT be returning.

First visit here. Got order wrong, but dealt with it. Noticed the table next to me had a messed up order too... twice. Person sent it back first time, specifically stating no lettuce. When waitress brought it back, she said, "Well, you got lettuce anyway." We asked for a check, and waited for over 15 minutes for waitress to pick it up. Apparently, she is preoccupied with something today. Certainly not the two tables with customers. Will wait a few months before they get next chance. Food okay. Service lacking.

Food was good, no complaints. Services was extremely slow and there were only 4 people in the restaurant. We ordered our Pizza to find out when the bill arrived that each toping was $2.80 and $3.90 for bacon making a 14" Pizza over $42 and the toppings were very skimpy. Please be careful when you order and clarify your cost with the wait staff before you order. I know that prices in tourist areas can be higher but this is pure extortion.
