Everything....Everything homemade. Big shout out for this place. Bread is homemade and served with real butter. Meal comes with soup or salad. Meal came very timely. My husband had veal parmesan. Out was not a frozen cutlet. It was a breast with tons of mozzarella cheese and again homemade sauce, as good as Italian Restaurants. I had the chopped steak with fresh grilled mushrooms. Asked for gravy on the side, came with a vegtable too. As we asked for the check we were told dessert was included in our meal. Homemade rice pudding. Other options as well. Service was with a smile, very accommodating. Watched in delight as one of the workers quickly went to the door to help an elderly couple when they left. Only com I would say is, it would have been nice to have some music playing and the decor is a bit out of date, but saying that .We would go back in a heartbeat. Did I mention price? $8.95, you cant beat that. During the week its only $6.95. Pleasantly surprised

This is simply a cheap eats place so I see why so many recommend it; especially in this tough economy. My table wasnt clean and the service was very adequate; albeit nice. I had to ask to get my coffee filled on both occasions and the food was mediocre at best an its set up more like a cafeteria with its big open eating with booths on the perimeter. Its long and deep which is why I think its more difficult for servers to be so attentive to some of the more "distant" seating. Asked for crisp bacon and it was greasy and undercooked in some places, while burned in others. Poached eggs were overcooked and a side of blueberry pancakes were very average. I asked for 2% or skim for my coffee and they suggested I use the creme on the table. I understand the cheap eats attraction but its not for me.

I honestly can not say anything good about this place..... never order the "gravy" on ANYTHING it looks like a cat puked in a bowl. The lamb shank was so watery the mint jelly would not even stay on the piece of meat. I asked for cranberry juice and the lady handed me a 2 ounce can on Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice..... The waitresses were off in a corner gossiping and rolling silverware while we needed help. Everything is either from a can or was frozen nothing is fresh. I ordered tapioca pudding and there was a huge chunk of bread in my pudding. The waitress never said "oh Im sorry ill get you a new one" or "oh Im sorry Ill take it off the bill" when I showed it to her and told her how grossed out I was. Bad service and bad food.

Disgusting to say the least, while trying to enjoy a hot cup of water possibly coffee I noticed I along with my family was not alone. I had been joined by a palmetto bug who was anxious to see what I was having for lunch. It was so persistent I almost felt the need to give it a name. After he was full my wife was sickened after finding a long black coarse hair in her food, and it practically had to go to a second round just to remove it from my table let alone my bill. Truly if you would like to have a good meal at a cafe, go to Angies in downtown Clearwater who makes the best omelets around!

I eat there a lot the food is always cooked to order, Grilled Grouper was nicely cooked, not over done like some restaurants tend to do. I have had their Prime Rib, not over done, tender comes with soup or salad,choice of potatoes and veggies of the day ((Sunday). They have a meal on a budget for those who dont eat a lot the food is good. I would tell people to try it it is very good. The waitresses are very attentive always checking on you.We have taken people there and they have enjoyed their visit. I live in Seminole and go there as often as We can.?

Just awful. Dreary, dirty dining room. Inattentive servers who always *look* busy, but arent really doing much. And food that makes you wish you had gone to a fast food joint. There is nothing here to recommend. When a place cant even cook and serve a hamburger and fries adequately, there is a serious problem. Unless you like elderly waitresses yelling at each other across the dining room, Id avoid this place. On the plus side: For Millenials/Gen-Y, there is much here to mock ironically. Maybe theyd like it?

First off, ALWAYS ask for Joann, shes absolutely the best server Ive ever had anywhere. While everyone who works here is more than fantastic I do recommend Joann hands down. Ive been eating here for almost 3 years multiple times a week. I get an hour for my lunch at work and I always get back with ample time to spare. Its cheap, good food with great service, what could be better than that?

They use to be nice people but times change and so do the people, They are very rude and the food isnt that good at all . Please whatever you do please dont ask for the Tapioca Pudding its like gold to them.Publix has better Tapioca Pudding anyway but enjoy the Tapioca Pudding Joann it looks like you need it.

Great prices, great food, great service. My eggs were perfect and everything was hot, so often these days I feel like over easy eggs come cold and either too raw or overdone. So I was really glad these were amazing. $22 + tip for two coffees and two huge breakfasts where we brought our biscuits home.

My first time going my client..he loves this place... service was exceptionally awesome ! Food was good and reasonable prices ! Definitely would recommend! I think I found a new favorite spot ! Very home like feeling the staff is very polite and makes sure that everything you ordered is right

Not god awful...But nothing to write home about either. Dismal dining room and mediocre service at best. Corned beef hash was awful and looked like it had been regurgitated on the plate. There are plenty of great breakfast spots around...Skip this one, you arent missing out on anything.

Great place if you dont feel like dressing up, very casual. The prices are easy on the pocket and the food and portions are well worth it! Open kitchen very clean, also since I am in a wheelchair Id like to add very easy to get around except for the restrooms.

I wonder if some of these people ate in the same place I did. My food has always been good, the service always polite and attentive, and my table clean. It is a nice little local place - do not expect it to be something its not.
