A lunch for $ 16.81?? I would not recommend. The food is ok and presentation is wonderful. You almost don’t want to eat your food because it is so pretty. I did have a bad experience though and I used to be a server so I am tolerant to many things but not a lie I ordered a combo for 12.50 but I asked a server to substitute my white rice for brown rice, I was very specific about that. A person who lunched with me did the same thing. Not once during that time we were told that it would be an extra charge, otherwise I wouldn’t bother. So when the check came out I was surprised, I called the server and she couldn’t handle it so she called a Manager. Manager said there is nothing she can do…and that it says on the menu. I looked back on the Menu and there is no note that said substitutions cost extra. Anyhow, I was charged 3 extra dollars for brown rice…and I never got white rice that was a part of my meal either. So not only they wouldn’t refund it they made me feel like a Moran because Manager brought my server back and my server lied that she told us there would IN FACT be an extra charge. A Person who lunched with me had not heard it either..so I guess we are deaf after all. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THAT?

The food quality was a little bit above ok. It was good just not worth the price. My wife and I and our daughter ate her today and they had the todays special Advertised as a special done ordered it and it turns out the "Special" wasnt any kind of special it was normal priced and we tried it and just didnt like it at all we had only 2 bites total. We asked if it could be taken off the bill or discounted at all cuz it was $18 and we couldnt even stand it at all. We were told that we could have 1 free dessert but it cant be changed! We are pissed cuz i spent 60 on ok food and got pretty bad customer service Ive been to many places and it I didnt like it i got at least a discount on it. I will never eat here again and dont think you should either if the service doesnt get fixed!

Last night the kids wanted sushi which usually means the conveyor belt with plates on it priced up to 3.00....we googled Sushi Mo and when we got there we felt a bit intimidated because it was set up more like a traditional restaurant. No laminated pictures of their sushi etc...so I called the waitress over and had her help us order some items- and I told her we would probably leave after because we were more comfortable with conveyor belt sushi restaurants. She was s very kind to us and the owner was too. The owner brought wine out for me to taste and compare, the dishes were all amazingly decorated and delicious, and they treated us to desert. I will bring my children here again. The customer service was not only excellent, it made us feel welcome and even special!

Pros: great decor, friendly service, awesome food Cons: prices a little high Honestly, you get what you pay for and the food at Sushi Mo is definitely worth it! Dont expect to pay sushi-belt prices nor sushi-belt food. Everything my wife and I ordered, from the shrimp shumai appetizers to the salmon hand rolls & dragon rolls, was gorgeously prepared and tasted fabulous! I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

The food is excellent. The service was fast and attentive but not intrusive. The price of the food was reasonable with great presentation. Im really a stickler on soda refills because soda has the highest profit margin and you pay $2 for one. But my refills came quick with no hesitation which always makes me happy. When I left I was happy to leave 20% which does say something since my grading scale for tipping is pretty tough.

Drove by and saw this restaurant, stopped in and it was SO good! Definitely have a new favorite sushi place. The service was great, the food was a little pricey.. but it was worth it for the quality and how much you get. Its a cute date location where you wont feel over/underdressed. I would come here again and would recommend it compared to other sushi places in Vancouver/PDX.

One of the best sushi places in Vancouver. Their rolls are presented beautifully and theres a lot of variety, which I feel is often lacking in most sushi places. Ive been there a few times and each roll Ive had has been delicious. Their prices are on the moderate side, but the quality is infinitely better than the conveyor belt places. I would definitely recommend this place!

We have been coming here since it first opened. And its great. Hugh quality product with decent prices for what you are getting. Monica is friendly and professional but always adds a personal touch. The wait staff are nice and attentive. We have tried most things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Its a regular outing of ours! Great sake selection too!

Friendly greeting from the staff as soon as you walk through the door. The restaurant was full but service was still very quick! As for the food, this is the best fish so far! It practically melts in your mouth! My order came out incorrect twice but its so hard to stay mad with the great staff, quick service and delicious food. Well be going back.

The sushi was OK, not terrific, but not bad. However the service was terrible for me. I was the only one sitting at the bar until I ordered. After ordering three other groups sat at the bar next to me. Yet I was the last to receive my order. I believe this place is fairly new. I hope the service gets better, but I likely will not be back.

Great sushi, gyoza was delicious. Went in during soft opening, but the crowd was still HUGE so service was a little slow, and they didnt not have a deep inventory yet. I couldnt get the beer I wanted in the size I wanted but it was a minor inconvenience I imagine when they are fully open things will be tip top. Im looking forward to it.

Great place with a loving crew that makes u feel welcome. The sushi is one of the best in Vancouver with excelent food presentation. Might be a little pricy but worth the money. The mango tea is a must try, and the unagi nigiri is to die for. The two rolls are dragon (is with the unagi), and spicy dragon.

Great place. Was a bit full and we didnt exactly know what to order but the waitress and the owner made us feel right at home. The food was presented beautifully and in such an artistic fashion. Best sushi Ive had in a long time. They were so sweet and kind and we will most definitely be back!

Surprised to find this quality sushi in Vancouver. Everything was great, particularly the mackerel and snapper. I hope this place stays in business since I see people already remarking on the cost. Thats what great sushi costs, this place isnt even expensive for the quality youre getting

This is a great authentic Japanese sushi place in the heart of Vancouver Washington. The menu is on point the staff is friendly and their owner is fantastic and beautiful. Its might seem a bit pricey to some who are feeding a family of four or more however it is truly worth it.
