Good Mexican food. I have a dairy allergy, and the server successfully kept me from getting sick. (The rice has butter in it for some reason?) My fajitas were good, and the fiance enjoyed his pork tacos. I dont think the corn tortillas are homemade, but this place is close enough to our apartment that I dont care much. +1 star for not spending my night puking from surprise butter. Chips fresh and crispy, salsa good. Well eat here again. On service: We went at 12:30pm on a Saturday and service was quick and attentive. Presumably things get hairy on a Saturday night, but you get that most places. Well avoid Taco Tuesday and Thirsty Thursday because were boring introverts, but if you like crowds and cheap tacos and drinks maybe thatd be your thing.

The service was adequate, nothing to get excited about. Asked for another beer, waiter said the draft ran out and there wasnt anymore? When I got the check, the space for a tip was left blank, I was told to total and sign I looked at the check and the gratuity was added, for a party of one? But it was presented to me, to fill it out and sign I questioned the waiter, he said he was instructed by management to add gratuities on all guest checks, so I said why didnt you show/tell me it was added? He just looked at me? Been in the restaurant business since I was 14, never heard of mandatory tipping for one? This is tacky and underhanded

Pros. The staff is friendly and the drinks are nice and strong Cons Our soup and salad had taken over 20mins. Soup lacked flavor. Salad was something i would i give to a rabbit or put ontop of a hamburger. The rice and beans, not sure what everyone else that liked it had, but dried and no flavor. The house special chicken.. I could keep going but to put it simple a large menu with everything being a miss. If the owner is reading this i suggest making the menu 75% smaller and make items that are great. I am not trying to bash this place and hopefully i could come back and have a great meal here

Have eaten here twice - lunch and dinner. Very good experiences both times. They have a lunch menu with items $6.99-$8.99. Beans and rice are great!! Most items on menu are under $13.99. Warm chips and good salsa. I would not recommend the fish tacos- they were too plain and not as good as other entrees. I do recommend the tacos, quesidillas, or burritos. Handmade, fresh and very good. I think the prices are a bit higher than you would expect, due to the downtown location, but it is still reasonable. Park in the back of the restaurant for free.

If I could give it no stars I would. You call this Mexican food not even close. I was born and raised in South Texas this is an insult to Mexican food. I got the huevos rancheros more like two over easy eggs with instant enchilada sauce on it. The flour tortillas werent even fresh they were store bought. Theres nothing authentic about this crap you call Mexican food. I will definitely not be going back I make better food than this.

I was very disappointed. I called in an order for pick up. I could not find a menu on line so I went in and waited. The staff was friendly and the food was ready very quickly, but it had NO flavor! We ordered 2 entrees. One was the 3 tacos with re-fried beans and rice. The other was two burritos (one chicken/one beef. They were both very bland and had no Mexican seasonings. I would have been better off getting Taco Bell.

Id say the service was, bad but there was none. We did not get checked on one time after we ordered. After 10 minutes of trying to get the waitresses attention I walked up to her to get a refill. Then after she ignored us for the rest of the dinner I had to go to her again for the check. No apology. Food is good. . But this is our second attempt at looking past the lack of service and piss poor management.

I came here with two friends, ordered the steak & pollo loco. My steak was raw and still bleeding but my chicken was so tough I couldnt cut it with the steak knife. My friend ordered a bottled beer and her total was $10 my other friend and I paid together it was $50 for two of us which is ridiculous. We had to send our food back just to get it right for the price we paid I will never return back.

Came in because of the good recommendations. These people must have been the owners friends. The chips and salsa were the best things in the meal. The meat in the taco salad look like dogs food and had no taste. The lettuce was wet. The chimichangas only had shredded chicken and the outside was wet and mushy. Quesdilla was wet and mushy with a horrible after taste. Service was great.

Food is over priced. Ordered the Nachos Grande to share. For $10 you get refried beans with cheese sauce under a handful of chips, one or 2 ounces of shredded chicken and a sprinkle of shredded lettuce. The food is not ordained with bells and whistles so not sure why a plate like that cost nearly $10. The facility is clean and customer service is attentive.

“Wow!” There are so many choices on the Boardwalk, but Im thrilled we chose The Taco Spot. After playing in the waves and walking 3/4 of the Boardwalk my husband and I were hungry, but we are also "frugal". We splurged with the coconut drink (delicious) and kept putting ice water in the coconut after the rum was gone. But the...

Authentic. Ive lived in Az for years and new to FL. I was pleasantly surprise by their food. My bf ordered the "gorda chimichanga", which is not in the menu - a steak fajita inside a chimi.. amazing! I had one of their combinations platter and the chili relleno was superb! A+ on the horchata. Great service. Will b back!!

Comida muy sabrosa. Los chicos son todos muy atentos. La margarita de mango es muy buena y el Burrito a la Roqueta es mi plato preferido.

The ambiance is festive. Love the Sugar Skull Senorita wall mural. Horchata of the Agua Frescas is my favorite, the Tamarindo is also good. I usually go for Taco Tuesday. Juan is my go to waiter. Very nice guy, great service. They get busy on Tuesday for their Taco and Margarita Special. Come early.

The food is amazing. If you or someones birthday is coming up make sure you go or take them Saturday or Sunday around 7pm. The mariachi will sing for you, you will have the big Mexican sombrero with a dessert or a shot. The service is awesome. One of my favorite spots in Hollywood.
