The Queens Arms, a British Pub, is located in Haile Plantation in the Gainesville area. It is in a beautifully designed mixed community that includes businesses and residential living spaces. This is the only British pub weve found outside of Orlando. Bob likes to meet with some of his British ex-pat friends to drink British beer, eat genuine British fare and watch British soccer or "football" as they call it. Bobs choice of beer was Boddingtons, imported from a brewery located in Manchester, England founded in 1778. With such a wide variety of international and American beers, there is something for even the most discerning of tastes. Bob had the bangers and mash and I had a vegetable curry with coconut milk. Both were absolutely delicious! On the other side of the pub is the Bistro restaurant. It is more for families and small children and has the same menu as the pub. They have the most amazing dessert choices! We were very well looked after by Lisa, our waitress and Shauna the bartender. Its a great place to visit if you happen to be in the area, especially if you want to experience genuine British beer and food in a British-style pub. Cheers!

Cool place to hang out and play darts! Also, this place has one of the best Fish and Chips Ive had in America. Usually its either too fried, too cooked/hard, or not cod. Unfortunately, they were all out of Scotch Eggs when we got there, but the other appetizers (Mozzarella Sticks and Onion Rings werent bad.) Probably not coming here again though because its so far.

Cool place and good vibe but poor service. Me and my date got over charged by 1 drink each and when we brought that to the attention of the bartender she accused us of being drunk. 2-3 bluemoons is not drunk, very poor service. I wont be back again.

We love the food here and inviting atmosphere. Love sitting on old southern style columned porch with village backdrop. The pub has become our own personal "Cheers bar.

Literally a Neighborhood pub. Cozy atmosphere... Draft beer is always good and cold. Desserts are made in house and super divine (especially the pavlova)!
