The service here was terrible when we went. We took my sister out for her birthday with a few friends and when we entered the place it was not busy whatsoever. We were seated to our table rather quickly, but proceeded to wait a long time for a waitress to come around and take our drink orders. It then took her a long time to actually bring them to us (4 out of the 5 people just ordered waters!). She then asked about appetizers, and we informed her that we did want one appetizer but were actually already ready to order as well (since she gave us so much time), and she responded with "Actually, I have to go make drinks first so Ill come back and then take your orders". Drinks for who??? There was maybe one person at the bar, and as I said there were hardly any other occupied tables. Also, they did not seem understaffed, considering the amount of waiters I saw. She proceeded to come back maybe 20 minutes later, and finally actually took our orders. Once we all finally got our food, we had a fairly nice meal, the food was wonderful. She then gave us our bills towards the end, and then proceeded to come back for them maybe 2 minutes later (wish she was that quick getting our orders and our food) and then proceeded to seem upset when one of us hadnt yet put their card in for their bill. She proceeded to awkwardly stand there waiting with a face full of attitude. Suddenly she was in such a big rush to get us all out of there, although the place was not busy at all. When she did come back with our receipts, she gave us all the wrong ones so we had to sort through and find our own ones. I have nothing against the food or the establishment, but I will never be visiting this location ever again.

Tonight I visited the 797 Hill Rd, Pickerington location. I was very shocked by how the manager, Jason, took care of my food issue. My rice was served to me frozen. No, I do not mean cold it was truly still frozen. I put my finger in it to check all the way through. I also had 2 other people at the table do the same along with insisting that the server do the same. I wanted him to see that I was not over exaggerating. He then had me scrape my rice into a bowl that was on the table. The bowl was dirty from someone else at the table. When he returned with the rice in the same bowl I asked if it was fresh rice. He informed me that he was told that he was not to get a new side that he was to warm it up in the microwave. He said that he did tell Jason about all the fingers. But it did not matter. I felt very bad for our server. He himself did a great job. When Jason came around and asked how our food was I said something about the rice. He looked at me and said “well it finally came out to you hot didn’t it?” I replied yes and he said good and turned around and walked away. I never did get to say anything about all the possible germs in my rice. I also did not even get an apology from him. There were 5 of us that came in and I also got 2 to go orders. I have been here a couple times before but if this is how the customers are treated here I will not be returning.

Their fried pickles used to be a must have. We havent been in a few years, so dont know if its the norm now or a fluke, but they didnt have very much batter this time. The fish and chips came with a HUGE portion of fish. My husband loved it. The kids fish and chips had tiny strips of fish with a lot of breading though. I could see them being fun to 5 year old, but my toddler couldnt bite them, so had to trade for some of my husbands fish. I ordered the chicken tenders. I would say they were burnt, bland, and dry, but my mother in law ordered the same thing and loved them. I guess they cater more to people who like their tenders a little more done. The Onion rings that came with the tenders were very good though. Finally, on Sundays, kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree, and they get a ton of food. Their main dishes were only slightly smaller than the adult portions, plus they came with a side, a huge drink, and dessert.

Ordered a to go meal last night at the bar and I was dissatisfied. First the order taker half way paid attention to me because she was engaging in a conversation with another employee. I ordered the fish and chips and asked for a fruit cup instead of coleslaw and I got slaw anyway. The fish was also soggy and dry. I also ordered a meal for my child and also asked for a fruit cup as the side but she got very salty French fries. I requested vinegar as well and never got it. My husband ordered a chicken club sandwich and he seem to be the only one satisfied. Nevertheless I wont be returning. The $30 I spent was not worth the mediocre food I received.

The food isnt great, (typical for the area) but its not bad and it is consistent. You can come here and know what to expect... pre-made, bagged, pub food. Theres a few great servers (allie, Ingram, jess c.) that know the menu, the beer and are just generally good at what they do. Ask for them if you can. The beer selection is great. Their ID policy is inconsistent, which has proven to be annoying. Bartenders are not exactly creative. Nevertheless, Ill continue to visit and recommend at least giving it a try.

The Old Bag of Nails Pub is a great place to eat if you want to relax and eat great food. I usually order the fish and chips because the fish just keeps coming. I love all three varieties: fried, blackened, and grilled. My daughter just ordered a chicken salad that was to die for. It was huge and very yummy. I had to take a couple bites because it looked so good. None of my family ever leaves hungry. The portions are awesome. It does take some time to get your food since this isnt fast food.

Service was super friendly, atmosphere really cool, and the food and beer selection more than I expected. Excellent place to eat and drink if your heading to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame. I suggest the fish and chips. Best white fish Ive ever had anywhere! Next visit was a killer double cheeseburger... Jessie was my server when I went the second time. Super cool, relaxed personality, and a pleasure to converse with.

We had a terrible experience with our server. She was inattentive and made several excuses as to why. When our food arrived, it was cold. I would have given this location a one star review had it not been for the outstanding manager that handled our complaints with a great attitude. She accepted responsibility as the person in charge and didnt make excuses. Our food was remade quickly and it ended up being very good.
