Once upon a time, Red Lobster was "the restaurant", a name associated with well-above-standard food and service, their cheese biscuits a signature taste of the great food to come. Sadly, the only thing that has remained the same is the name - the great Red Lobster restaurant of the past is no more, as the food, quality, service - every aspect - has declined to abysmal levels. This location is a prime example of this decline: the servers are courteous but slow and unprofessional; the food portions are small, stale, and unremarkable; and the decor is unsightly and boring. We went there just to re-try Red Lobster and regretted it immediately upon seeing the nasty cloudy brown tank of lobsters at the entryway. Sorry Red Lobster - you need a complete makeover. Lets class the place up and offer a truly fresh selection. Hire real chefs and employ professional wait staff. Modernize the dated nautical look while keeping the theme. Please do something!

We had a very disappointing experience here while on vacation last week. It started when we walked in and the hostess team openly discussed sitting our family away from all the other patrons since we had 4 young kids. Trust me, I understand the need for keeping small children from being a disturbance and I am fine to sit in a secluded area, but you dont have to discuss it out loud in a rude attitude upon my arrival. My grilled fish was tasteless and my husbands steak was over cooked. They did take his meal off the bill. The service was extremely slow since we were the only occupied table in the room. The waitress was tending her tables in the other room and only got to us every once in a while. Overall, I love Red Lobster, but this is one location we will not visit again.

I have not been to this Red Lobster, but was checking out the reviews and discovered that the review at the end with the title of : This is the worst place in Fort Walton. Way over priced. Food had no taste. Not kid friendly ... Was from a different web site which listed reviews from similar restaurants. That review was actually for the Old Bay Steamer. The only review on the same site for Red Lobster was from 2006 and was a good review. I have tried some of the other sea food restaurants in the area (Destin) and was not impressed with the Price vs. Quality that I had found (like the Crab Trap where the boiled shrimp were like rubber). I have had good meals at other Red Lobsters, so thought I might give this one a try. Ill post a review if I do.

This used to be one of my favorite places to go. Affordable seafood, great view of the water but my last experience there was HORRIBLE. We sat there for 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. I know we had a larger party, 10 adults, 2 children for my mothers 70th birthday party but large parties have never been a problem for them in the past. After we left, I found out that my son-in-law never even received his meal. My parents meal was cold. They gave a 20% discount on my bill, took my son-in-laws meal off their check and 20% discount but I wont be going back. I heard things had gone downhill there the morning we had planned to go, but OMG!

The food was horrible the crab legs were cold and soft the scampi tasted like salt and water and the gumbo was awful. The worst part of the experience was that the waiter NICK was there chatting away to some employees from olive gardens a loud and long conversation not what u wanna hear when ur eating out he was very unprofessional and when I finally got his attention to tell him about my food he was as rude as ever. We will never be going to Red lobster again. Although a good review to our waitress she was nice and understanding but Nick and the manager were just garbage and I am not sorry for posting this I am sorry for dining at this restaurant

Food was good but the service was awful. We waited for 20 minutes just for biscuits for the first time. Then none of us could get refills my son had to take his cup to the bar to get a refill. Then I asked for more biscuits three times and was told no all three times. Finally the fourth she brought the biscuits. Then we asked for the check and a box and we waited 25 minutes for both of those. You would think paying 30-40 a plate that we would have decent service. I wont ever return here again. We will drive to Pensacola or panama city to go to red lobster. I cant even explain how horrible the service is here.

My husband and I took advantage of Crab Fest specials at the local Red Lobster Restaurant this month. Last October we took a trip to Cape Cod MA and had fresh seafood. Our Red Lobster experience of the Crab Specials was, as good as, if not even better than the fresh seafood we had along the East Coast. Red Lobsters Crab boil was extremely, fresh, cooked to perfection, sweet, tender, juicy. We could not ask for better. Thank you for the fine food and excellent service. This restaurant has went down hill. Not once but a few times my service has been awful. My husband ordered lobster and it took 45 min to get it. Not to mention they closed at 10 so we had to hurry n eat. It literally sucked. Then our 100.00 bill was only supposed to be 83.85. Wth they threw in other things. Then me a d my friend ate there she found a hair. So sad I use to love this place. Get it together or I wont be back.

Service was horrible the food took forever to come out we waited hour and a half for it we had to go find our waiter to get drinks refilled and they sat empty each time for a good 30 minutes. When we asked to have our biscuits after having waited for 45 min he said they were on the way out for the 5th time and we didnt get them until 75 into our visit only good thing we had was their passion fruit drink

I wish there were an option to give a ZERO star rating.....I found a bitten off fingernail in the middle of my dessert. It was my mothers birthday dinner, and I reluctantly did not notify my server of this. I really wish I had now being the morning after.. I am going to email the corporate office this afternoon and let them know of my putrid experience.

Our waitress was polite and attentive but the food was a disaster. My husbands steak tasted/smelt like burnt "plastic". Lets just say it didnt smell or taste delicious. I had the salmon new Orleans and it was burnt and tasted like crap. Horrible food... The manager didnt seem to care to much but gave us a discount. Never going there again

Staff was great and service was pretty quick. Went there on a late Saturday night, not many people. Food was great and the waiter stopped by a few times to make sure food and drinks were ok. Crab legs were seasoned well, and the shrimps and scallops were cooked perfectly. For under 20 bucks, it filled me up.
