One star simply because they got our orders right and the food was warm. For going on a Tuesday night in a college town, they had zero drink specials. Service got everything right so fair enough, but the guy kept reaching over the table to bus away dirty dishes. More often than a regular restaurant normally operates which was slightly annoying because we kept having to interact when I just wanted to eat my food. --Bloomin Onion App: Greasy mess and breading kept falling off. --Bloomin Burger: The bloomin onions on the burger tasted like they were kept in some container and warmed up specifically for the burgers. The bun was stale. Yes thats right, stale and hard. Also the fries on the side were overcooked and possibly old. The best part of my entree was the ketchup. --Chicken on the barbie: A little bland, and a fairly small portion for the price. Bill was pushing $50 for two people including the above and one 22oz bud light. There is a reason this place is empty.

*Warning, racist establishment* The food is typical steakhouse, but its the service that was just absolutely shocking. We were seated in a booth right next to a fire exit in an almost completely empty restaurant. Not very happy about that but we just wanted to get a quick snack so we figured that it wasnt worth making a fuss. Then a waiter moved a large wheelchair beside our table which basically blocked the fire exit and our ability to get in and out of our booth. We asked the waiter if she could move it somewhere else and were rudely rebuked. We then asked to see the manager since we werent about to take that kind of behavior. The manager was no better. He basically told us that we were in the wrong and that not being able to get in and out of our booth was not something to complain about. He could hardly contain his contempt for us and offered no apology. Im used to experiencing racist behavior in this town, but this type of overt hostility is just ridiculous.

First and foremost Melly/Melissa our waitress was a delight. Upbeat and knowledgeable about menu. She was easily able to answer all questions and made excellent recombinations on drinks and food. Our every need was met with enthusiasm you dont find in or at resturants these day. It is hard to find anyone in retail or food service that even understands the concept of customer service; let alone someone that defines it like Melly/Melissa. I will always ask to be seated in her section and recommend the reader of this to do the same if they want an outstanding experience!!! Now for the food. BEYOND AMAZING, not one food or drink item was less than amazing. I ordered and recommend tve Victorian Filet rare, tortilla soup and fries was well worth 20 dollars. Tea, and other drinks we perfectly fixed as well. 100% positive experience!!! As a manager employees like Melly/Melissa make the job easier and should be kept on staff at any cost.

I went to Outback to celebrate my uncles birthday. The server was not trained correctly and she even admitted that she wasnt sure what she was doing. It took 45 mins to get my salad because it was made wrong twice. Then when I did get the Bleu cheese salad, it didnt have the pecans on it. There was four of us. The prime rib and the filets were over cooked by a lot. The Server said the kitchen was having problems and that they were slow on getting peoples food out. I asked to speak to Stephen the manager, but he was not working there anymore. You definitely can tell too. This Outback is going down hill and fast. When Stephen ran it, it was a great experience all around. Wont be back for a long, long time

We waited for 15 minutes and our drink order was still not taken. The waitress was sat three times in a row, which is not her fault. However, she mismanaged her time and didnt ask for help which is her fault. She wasnt on the floor for the first 13 minutes that we sat waiting. The manager was standing at the hostess stand doing nothing. She could have at least had the competency to walk through the dining room and see people looking around the dining room, twiddling their thumbs, with no drinks. I will not be going back. An offer of a free bloomin onion does not make up for your mismanagement.

Its just a chain. The service is fast and servers are friendly but dont expect your steak to be cooked the way you requested. The last time I was there, 2 of the 4 "medium rare" steaks were so thoroughly cooked there was not a streak or tinge of pink anywhere to be seen and the texture was like shoe leather. The appetizers are standard and good.

When there are less than 5 tables on our half of the restaurant having to wait over 15 minutes and not a single of the 5 wait staff even bothered to come over. UNACCEPTABLE, we left, and wont be back any time soon. Only giving a star because I have to to be able to leave a review.

Food was hot and timely. I also like how polite the staff always is about swapping things out (like fries for salad) or separating checks. This is a nice place to go with big groups. My only complaint is that the beer taps could probably use a cleaning so stick to bottles.

I love the food ,but last 2 times I had the Broccoli as a side ,It was "gritty" Please,please as a food service mgr and restaurant operator ,ensure that the staff washes ALL produce before cooking . One mouthful of gritty Broccoli shuts down my appetite.Thank you

Excellent service. Melly Ann was a great server. Super nice, friendly, always had a drink, no waiting on refills. Store was clean as was parking lot. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice meal out, one thats not too expensive.

Was in last week. Melly Ann was an amazing waitress. She was friendly, attentive and pretty to look at. :) she was swamped and still made sure our food came out hot, drinks stay filled and she was timely with the check. Great place to eat.

Awful experience (carry out) spent $50 and couldnt enjoy the food, also did not get every thing we ordered . Talked to the owner and he said they would give us one of our meals free at our next visit.... wont be any time soon.

Pretty hard to screw up a steak and a grilled lobster tail but this place sure can. Way over seasoned steak and lobster both. Fries were limp and soggy. One of those places you eat at and cross your fingers for a couple days.

Outback is awesome!!! The food is incredible..almost as good as the service. A kiwi margarita paired with their 10oz filet is out of this world. If you havent been to the Bloomington, IN Outback then you are MISSING OUT!!!!

Service was awful. Got seated and sat for 20 mins waiting for someone to take our drink order asked someone who was passing by if we could get waited on still didnt get any waiters. Awful service. Terrible waiters

Really good food and the bar area is great. The Sam Adams is always fresh and the management is fantastic. Try pairing a Pork Porterhouse with a baked sweet potato and a tall Sam Adams Boston Lager. Cheers.

If you are after a great steak then this is the place to eat. Their roasted garlic filet medallions is mouth watering. Tried other local steak houses but none were as good as outback. Very friendly staff!
