Ive always felt welcomed at the other loactokn in Port St John. Ive been there nunberous times and wanted to try this other location that I have NEVER been too. Im only reviewing what I expiericenced as a whole when it come to this small but lovely breakfast spot. Now, the ONLY reason I decided to give this place 3 stars is because when I walked into this packed place everyone, including some staff looked at me and stopped talking. Unfortunately when I say stopped talking I mean ubruptly as if someone had froze the world for a minute or two - whole entire room , which isnt that big, went completely silent as if I wasnt supposed to be here or maybe I didnt have one the right clothes ( I was in pajamas pants) - unfortunately for me I will never know the reason but I want to make clear that the staff that handled me was NOT the problem. I just felt I wasnt wanted there but of course the food was lovely. No complaints about my server or the host but the ora inside was not welcoming.

I had high hopes for this place. It was decent and when you order a dinner etc., they bring you a lot of food... many side choices etc. The food is decent, its definitely rockin the home cooked flavor. Unfortunately, my husbands fried chicken had been fried so long that there was barely any chicken left and even the skin was barely edible. The service is also a little lacking, we had two servers, neither of which were great. Their clothes were also dirty. The tables are a bit cramped in and the ambience is lacking as you might expect. The coffee wasnt the best either. On the up side, this place opens early and they are inexpensive.

Fantastic. This place is definitely a "locals only" gem. I was lucky to get a seat. I saw someone get pancakes that had to be a foot wide! My country fried steak was awesome and portions filling. Definitely worth pulling off the highway and finding.

This place is always great place to eat. Just be warned its only open for breakfast and lunch. The menu has a wide variety of food for all ages...and yes the pancakes gotta be a foot wide LOL ! Definitely recommend their breakfast burrito.

Stopped in here while traveling. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing! I had a burger and my wife had a chicken salad. We were both happy with everything. Place was clean and quick.
