We were visiting from Florida and had one night left. So far 90% of the restaurants in the "trendy" parts of DC had fallen short and we were looking for a place to watch the ncaa final 4 basketball games. I saw Simple on Google and decided to try it. The food was far above average with a very unique menu. The pizza and burgers are a must. The beer was better priced then any other place we had been with a large selection. My team lost but at least I had great food and a good experience.

Looks can be deceiving with this place. From the outside, I wasnt sure if it was a restaurant or an arcade. The neon green and black signage three me off. For the record, Its a restaurant and the food is delicious. I tried the teriyaki chicken tacos and was pleasantly surprised! Simple has a decently priced brunch menu (meal and bottomless mimosa). And while you wait each table is set with color pages and crayons to bring out the kid in you.

Simple Bar is simply the best. The first time we went there (March, 2015) it was purely based on reviews and being so hungry we could have gone anywhere. Now, we go about once every two weeks. The menu is diverse - by now my husband and I have had most everything - but I mostly recommend: the tacos, nachos, chicken fajitas, Mexican burger and the new pizzas. Ask Wilfredo to recommend a hot sauce for you, because thats bad@ss!

Went here on a whim. I was very pleasantly suprised. Ping pong, good music, etc. The owner, Will, is super cool, the food is good, the artwork on the wall is amazing (even the bathroom is cool) and the customers are cool. Seriously, youd be insane to give less than 5 stars. Not paid to say this. Just a fact. Its solid. BTW, the beer selection complaint? They literally have 40 beers.

This is my new favorite neighborhood spot. The food and drinks always hit the spot (Im looking at you chicken & waffles or pulled pork sandwich). Make sure to color in your place mat and say hi to Marsha! Also, on Friday and Saturday nights this place turns into the place to be on Georgia Ave.
