This place used to be me and my husbands favorite place to eat!! Although in the past 4 years I cant seem to go there and get anything like we used to order & cooked like it used to be. I even got my family hooked on it but they wont even go to the Colonial Heights location anymore because of the change in the wings and the service. they dont even want to go to other locations because of their experience in Colonial Heights. The service is awful! and you get nothing but attitude if you ask for anything. They redid the place and its cute but they need to review their staff because they dont care and are so rude. My order has been wrong the past two times Ive been there! Im in the Food Service myself and I pay $30 for a meal and never complain but after yesterday... Im going to say something because I went in with a friend after working hard all day and we werent able to sit on the porch because they were too busy with the whole 5 tables they had in there with only 2 servers?! Are you kidding me?! but Ok the server missed out on probably at least a 40% tip! Thats my favorite part about going to Buffalo Wild Wings is being able to enjoy my meal outside on a nice day where youre supposed to get served! Never going back! Ill go to Chesterfield because Colonial Heights is awful!!!!

I have to agree with most other reviews on here. The staff needs new training on customer service. I picked up food to go and had to wait a few minutes to even be greeted, which isnt a big deal to me... I understand restaurants get busy. But then, what really made me mad was a female employee came out of the kitchen having a conversation with a man who did not looked like he worked there, saw me waiting to pay, and continued to have a conversation with the man about something completely non-work related. Finally when she rang my order up she continued with her conversation with the man and only stopped to tell me how much I owed and "sign here." I could have been wearing a chicken suit and she would not have noticed. And then just to put the cherry on top there is a sign at the register that says "no cell phone use while placing orders. Wrong orders will not be fixed if cellphone was used while ordering." SERIOUSLY? So its not ok for the customer to be distracted while ordering, but then staff can completely ignore the customer. I guess the customer isnt always right. Anyway, the food was ok. Its never as good as when you eat at the restaurant, but thats not their fault.

Literally the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant, including taco bell. Our waiter did not enter the drink/food order for at least 10 min after ordering. Then, acted surprised when we asked for our appetizer to be out before the meal. The drinks were late and incorrect (just beer orders). When food finally came, the salad (appitizer) was brought out with the main course, which was all room temp or colder. Ever had wings straight out of the fridge? Thats what this was like. Then, the final food order came out... 5 min after everyone else. Called the manager over, she refused the sample the temp of the wings. We all got a $5 discount, but what i wanted was halfway decent food. Disappointing to say the least. I love BWW, one of the top 3 restaurants. I have never not paid for food because of quality before, this was my first..... ever. Worst experience ever.

We come here quite often, being that its the nearest one to base. Dont get me wrong, the food is always great, but the service, no, at least not today. Each time we come here, we always ask for a booth, but the hostess said, "theres none available because I just sat someone and itll be a long wait for one." Well, as she takes us there so get seated at the table, theres a large EMPTY booth right next to us. Were a family of six sitting at an okay sized table, but yet, a party of 2 gets seated at that large booth? Really? Id rather drive out further to a different B-Dubs, then come to this one with such a rude hostess. Ive been there, worked as a hostess and a waitress, no need to be rude, learn to accommodate your guests request, when its obviously available. If youre not happy with your job, Leave. Theres plenty of people looking for work and youre easily replaceable.

First thing most people do not understand about this location is this. This is truly meant to be a sports bar because of the crowd that attends. Mostly it is a Military presence due to the proximity of Fort Lee. They are all good guys, but most are young and very loud. Nothing against them, just how they are during a sporting event. Sure you can take the kids their for lunch, but if there is a game on then just dont go. First off it will be very loud, and the staff will be very busy. The food will not come out on time, and if it does then it will most likely be cold. The staff is always very courteous and nice to everyone. I just think the reason this location gets a lot of negative feedback is because they are understaffed, especially in the takeout area. Usually one person plays Hostess, Phone Operator, and Take Out Waiter/Waitress.

This afternoon (6/29/17) myself and a fellow colleague had to wait an hour for our wings. Our entire table received their meals way before us and customers in the restaurant continued to receive their meals. Subsequently, another colleague ordered wings to take home after finishing his meal and still received his order before ours. Our waitress mentioned that we "ordered late", but we all ordered at the same time around the table. The manager simply said "sorry" and gave us a $2 discount for waiting an hour for our wings while our entire table finished their entire meals. We had to take our wings home with us because our table had been finished with their meals, The customer service was appalling and the explanation we received was unimaginable. No longer will I be able to go to Buffalo Wild Wings in Colonial Heights, VA for service.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Took 20 minutes to take our drink order, another 15 to receive said drinks. Then we ordered mozzarella sticks and chips, 25 minutes later got the sticks NO chips. Finally placed our food order which we had to track our waitress down to place our order (still waiting on our chips and drink refill). 20 minutes went by ... asked waitress about the chips, finally received them. Took 30 more minutes for our COLD food to arrive. The were too old and hard to eat. Never did get the drink refills or condiments for our burger. My 1 year old had to wait 2 hours for her meal, as larger tables who came in after us received and paid before us. What a joke.

We opened the place at 11am last Thursday July 27th. Ordered our lunch shortly after in wich took 45 minutes to receive our food. Not to mention my broiled chicken sandwich was over cooked and crunchy, dry, and cold! Not to mention my fellow employees food was inadequate also. Our waiter was very nice and I do not blame him but from what I understand this is the norm from this location. Military personnel from FT.Lee were sitting near us in which they complained outwardly. Needless to say we will not be going back again. So if you are looking to wait a year for your food and the food will be terrible, you will enjoy this place.
