WARNING--YOU WANT HOT FOOD AND COURTEOUS SERVICES---GO ELSEWHERE!!! I took my family to this place to celebrate my Mothers Birthday 5/31/2015 The food took excessive time to come out of kitchen For a party of just 8, at 4:45PM where there were just a couple other patrons besides ourselves. My parents are elderly and prefer earlier dining time. After 47 minutes of waiting they brought the food out 2 rack of lamb, 2 Strip Steaks, 2 Maryland Crabcakes, 1 Rockfish, 1 Chicken Caesar Salad. Crabcakes were ok, MUCH better at Fresh Market; Caesar salad ok...heres where it gets ugly...steak came out not even warm, same with lamb, rockfish was overlooked yet also cool. Side dishes of asparagus were a little warm, but fries were cool and stale...its like they prepared several main entrees and waited for someone to come in and buy them. I alerted waitress who then sought out a young lady who was purporting to be manager. She said they would take off two appetizers from bill. Keep in mind 5 out of eight entrees were inedible. She left for 10 minutes, came back stating she talked to Mr.Worthington (alleged owner or GM) he never showed his face. The crab dip appetizers were good, they came out hot. When they understood how upset with meal, they brought out a $380.00 bill with 18% gratuity I told them 5 entrees were totally unacceptable that re-heating them is not acceptable (I do that with leftovers not freshly cooked food) They then dropped gratuity as a conciliatory move as well as a couple inexpensive appetizers, still a $275.00 bill. The manager then stated pay the bill or we will call the police. So I paid by Discover card and disputed bill entirely. The worst dining experience in my 60 years. I would not advise anyone wasting time or money at this eatery. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I dont normally review things but this just had to be done. So it was my wifes Birthday and I made my reservation and said a romantic spot please. We show up and they sit us at a little table with an isle maybe 3 feet from the other table. Not very romantic... Basically we could hear everyone conversations it was that close. My wife kept me cool and said lets just deal with it. So we order two appetizers. Crap dip and the ribs. while we waited they brought out a small biscuit only. Really only one? Then the appetizers came. only 6 ribs and maybe 8 pita bread pieces with a small amount of crap dip COVERED in cheese. Not worth the $12 or more we paid for them. Then our dinners came. I ordered "supposedly half a chicken with veggies and mp" and my wife ordered half a duck. what she got was 4 thin strips of duck meat and some mashed pots and what I got was 2 wings of chicken. Where was the breast one one leg? I was so mad. Then to top it off they charged me $12 for a scoop or two of vanilla ice-cream. WTF! Our total bill for this was $140. My wife and I told the waitress we would have rather gone to Dennys. She was not pleased and neither were we. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Oh man, where to start? So as soon as I walk in, I trip over the crumbling facade between the double doors. This place is set up like a Six Flags Haunted House. You go in and some dude comes out and receives your party. You then have to turn directly around to go to the dining hall. Maybe the bar is nicer, but the little awning way is full of chipped paint. So I ordered Eggs Benedict and my friend sampled the French Toast. No one came by with water or bread and rolls for 26 min. I timed it! No one was in the dining room, but hey, I guess I have to wait. Our entrees arrive. My eggs are runny, the English muffins is almost impossible to cut through. The ham is cold and the whole thing is lukewarm to cold. Potatoes are mushy, not firm. This is not an ideal situation. French toast looked good, though. Our waitress was Samantha. Shes not as skilled or funny as she thinks she is. Honestly more annoying than endearing.

This place was just "ok" for me- but I do suggest that you try The Grill at Harryman House at least once, perhaps you will like it more than I. The staff are very welcoming, courteous, and friendly and the atmosphere is very unique and inviting. I ordered the seared ahi tuna and my husband ordered the filet mignon. While the items were cooked to absolute perfection, but for us, the taste was lacking. The peppered seasoning on the outside of the seared tuna was fabulous- but it did not translate to the middle of the fish- same goes for my husbands steak- who felt that the outside charring tasted great, but the meat had very little taste in the middle. Overall, it is obvious that the owners/managers have a deep passion and care for the restaurant and for the food, which I have a lot of respect for- but it was just not for my palette.

I was there many years ago and liked the food and price. Typical American fare. Wasnt my idea to go for an Anniversary since I heard it had new owners and became upscale. Usually a red flag expensive, minute portions and mediocre food. I was correct. Very limited menu, one steak entree, and pizza also. Strange. Also couldnt substitute sides. If you wanted only one and paid for the other. My husband got Halibut. He said it was good, but the portion was small. Also a tablespoon or two of cole slaw and two; yes two slices (1/8" thick ) of grilled sweet potato. I got the sausage and fennel pizza since nothing attracted me or in the mood due to limited menu. Pizza Hut or a nearby Italian restaurant s was better. Ate half and they boxed it up. Which I threw away. I wanted no memory of one of the worst restaurants Ive been too.

Great place for brunch and dinner. This is a place we frequent often for birthdays or the like mainly for brunch, but sometimes for dinner as well. The menu has a good amount of options, none of which I have ever been disappointed with. The place is also nice for dinner, but I highly recommend going for brunch as I love the menu options for then a lot. The atmosphere is nice and calm, and the place has a very cozy feel to it. The service is always nice, fast, and accommodating. This place can get a little crowded at times so you may show up and find yourself with a 30-40 minute wait around dinner, so if youre going out for dinner dont hesitate to make reservations. Weve never had trouble getting seating for brunch, but that may have just been lucky.

Few years ago we visited this place the first time and had not so memorable experience. This time it was really great one. The ambiance was rustic but cozy, the food was tasting great (though entrees were a bit salty for our taste buds) and was quite creative, the service was right on point and nice, and the value was beyond great with Crazy Johns deal going on now. If you want a relaxing but kind of fine dining experience around this area you wont find any better place then this one. We are definitely planning to return and recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We live right down the road so we go to Harrys almost every weekend. The service is always good the atmosphere is really nice, and they have a decent wine list. The menu changes seasonly (which we enjoy). Most things weve ordered have been pretty good. You can choose between a "nice" dinner in the dining area or sit in the bar and order a hamburger and watch the game. We recently went for brunch on Sunday afternoon and the food was even better then we expected. All in all a pretty nice place for a mid priced meal. Will continue to visit weekly.
