Worst. Experience. At. Wallingford. IHOP. Ever. Went to meet my parents so they could watch scar baby for the weekend, got to the IHOP and sat down for 30 mins with no waitress coming over to get drink orders or even see if weve been helped. 5 waitresses were walking around with their thumbs up their asses. There was a large party of guest sitting inside that had already been served and paid for their food. 2 waitresses helped them move a table so they could play mahjong next to us. Are you serious??? So we get up to leave and I asked for the managers name and the waitress didnt give it to me. Lucky for them she walked up to me and I told her she had the worst restaurant Id ever seen. If you decide to go to breakfast never go to IHOP IN WALLINGFORD CT. 07/29/2016 - Went there at 11:00 PM.Ordered the combo; two eggs, bacon, sausage, Strawberry Pancakes and Hash Browns. Everything was perfect - I mean P-E-R-F-E-C-T! Even the Hot Chocolate was perfect. The place was clean and smelled very fresh. The waitress, Brenda was prompt, courteous, efficient, attentive and very nice. Ive eaten at many iHops, this one was the best ever. Note: Im from New Orleans, LA so I have had really great food there. Turns out the Manager is from New Orleans. No wonder the food was wonderful! Highly recommend the restaurant.

After waiting 10 minutes at our table we had to go find ourselves a server... Our food order was finally taken after another 15 minutes.. food not served for 45 minutes from being seated. Other tables around us were seated much later, served their food, and left before we were able to eat. When we asked the manger, Pam, what happened her response was basically a shoulder shrug and "oh well, sorry". We wont be back....Oh.. And the food was cold...ugh

My last two visits were horrible. Once they were slow and decided to close an hour early. When I waved thru the window they waved and laughed back at me. The last time was my attempt to give them a second chance. The waitress came to our table after a 25 min wait. Screwed up every part of our order then disappeared only to have us have to ask the manager for our check. Rude isnt a good enough word for her but its the best I can use here

I have gone one 4 different occasions and never get what I order. The waiter piano gave me my spinach salad with fried chicken. I explained I ordered grilled chicken and he said they try all the chick. That doesnt make any sense why have 2 different types of options but you fry them both. Then order a burger and get no lettuce or tomatoes or onions. That was 2x with the burger. Decided today to never go to this location again.

Thank you for a great experience IN WALLINGFORD !! STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND KNEW the chaotic MENU WELL IT WAS CLEAN, THE FOOD WAS GREAT. The manager came around to ask everyone how everything was. I am so happy it went so well cuz the I-Hop by my house is horrible EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!! FOOD SERVICE management!! (WATERBURY) BOO WATERBURY Thanks, ANGELA KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK WALLINGFORD. ;-@

What can I say about IHOP? They do one thing. Breakfast. Thats pretty much it. Oh, sure they claim to do other things. But you dont go to McDonalds for pizza; and you dont go to IHOP for steak. In the end, if you want breakfast day or night, and can find a seat... this is your place.

The Wallingford IHOP is great compared to the one in Southington. The service we received from Maureen was top notch. Fast service and the food was made correctly which is a plus since we have to change everything up. Definitely will go again.

Every now and again you get a messed up order from this particular location but otherwise the food is great. During phone in orders is where the majority of mistakes happen, but dine in is good, and the wait is usually minimal.

This has been my primary IHOP since it opened! Its close by, the service is always great, the food has never been anything less than delicious, and the wait to sit isnt usually more than 30 mins even during the busiest hours

Horrible. Felt rushed out the door, even tho they were nearly empty. 2 pm on a Thursday. Took my daughter, wife and niece to eat. 3 of the 4 of us ended up sick. We 3 ate eggs. Thats the only common denominator. Unreal.

Food was delicious, but service was awful! Our server tried her best, but was clearly covering too many tables. A manager stood around watching and kept pulling servers aside to scold them, rather than help out!

I just love this IHOP. The good is great here. The staff is quick and efficient. This is my go to IHOP. If you want to get in quick though you have to go early. If not then its a little wait to get a seat.

Service was terrible. Barely anyone eating there at the time and my order was messed up and the server took about 10 min to bring a refil of water. We were charged for extras that we asked for but never got.
