This place had to be the worst ever! First, when we arrived at the diner there must have been 6 people total eating. We ordered the appetizer combo at $9.95 when it arrived we litterly only received 4 small over cooked onion rings, 4 undercooked mozzarella sticks 4 tiny chicken wings. We were then told they had to recook our 3 pieces of chicken that was included. We then ordered a gyro, chicken slavaka and a cheeseburger. The gyro was was frozen, and had halapino peppers in it. My wife ordered a salad with her Chicken. The salad never came and was told by the waitress they are to busy to get it so she will give us free dessert to take home. My wife then odered the Lindsey tart cookie to take home and was told sorry they didnt have any. (what they had a whole tray full) Never again will we go there. Place was horrible.

Surprised at the poor reviews. My family absolutely loves this place. We can get a meal, a full meal for around $15.00. They start off with soup and salad..bread, then your dinner selection which includes choices of potato and veg. To top it off, they have their own bakery! Dessert comes with your meal, by this time we are so full, we take it to go. The prime rib is delicious, always cooked the way we like it..and a generous portion to boot. Some of the waitresses could use a lesson in how to get a good tip, but the food makes up for them. Yes, it is a diner, open 24/7, so nothing fancy, I dont like paying for fancy.

My wife and I went with her parents, aswell as her sister. It was noon and about a dozen tables with 2 to 3 people on (AVG). 3 waiting staff. Slow service, poor food quality (from serving temp to ingredients). We feel ingredients were dated, certainly not fresh. Didnt expect canned vegetables either. Even the coffee was weak. Around us, other waiting, complaining amongst themselves. Tables sat used and cluttered well over time. Obviously a lot has changed since 2005. Gone from best to worst in Connecticut.

I dont think there is a place in Yellowknife quite like this. The food is super fresh and everything is home made with really high quality ingredients. We enjoyed every bite of our food (literally ate a crumb off the table it was so good) and loved that it came out fast and with very warm and friendly service. Im not the type to try a place multiple times (on to the next one kind of mindset) but in our week stay in Yellowknife we ate here more than once because it was the best.

The service was horrible, when I walked through the door the two employees continued there conversation before sitting us. The waitress Donna made us feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable . not even saying youre welcome after I said thank you multiple times but was all smiles for the other tables also rushed service not even letting me finish my order.. I believe it was my skin color sad to say .. I will not be coming back first time I have not tipped someone ever !!

This place was bustling. Lots of customers in and out. Thats a good sign...we were seated immediately...coffee brought out quickly...ordered breakfast. Food was served promptly, well prepared and very good. The waitress was very attentive to our requests. Overall I had a very pleasant experience.

Used to like it back in the day but now its awful. Any waitress over 50 there just seems like they hit rock bottom in life and are resentful so they take it out on the customers by being rude and seem to not care about you at all. The food is no saving grace either, sub-par at best.

I had a taste for beef gravy and potatoes. I been to Twins Pines before and had breakfast which was wonderful. I order Prime rib and mashed potatoes and spinach. The mashed potatoes are instant and the spinach was frozen. Guys we cant get no real mash and fresh spinach.

Delicious meal, probably the best omelet I have ever had, LOADED with real white turkey. They were very accommodating to our large group without a reservation, but the service was slow! Huge menu.

My experience at this diner was awful. The waitress Diana was very rude and walked away from me in the middle of me giving my order. Terrible customer service. I will never go back.
