Well our trip to Plan B was elongated, involving multiple other restaurants and a drive around hartford! I wanted a Cuban Sandwich. Sounds simple Enough. So we found a highly rated place that came up in our Yelping. We it turned out to be a high end Spanish restaurant and was a bit more than I wanted. So Fernando made the next guess and we ended up at Peruvian place that had fantastic pictures, but looked like a ghetto neighborhood when we got there. Undeterred we went in the outer door, kinda like an air lock, and were presented with a Closed Tuesday sign. Still made of sterner stuff our quest continued to Plan B. The Place had a nice out front group of tables, and parking was scarce. This is a good sign I said. So we parked and walked in. Happy people all over the patio. Looking Good. Well I went to wash my hands and Fernando was looking over the menu. Not a burger to be found? Uh Oh? We had walked into the place next door and did not even know it. Well we jumped ship from the tavern to Plan B, which by now is Plan D to us! Am I glad we persisted. Plan B is a wonderful place. Go there if you are within 20 miles. The Burger was great, The Cuban Burger was incredible. Just a bit of spice in the pork, and perfect fries. We laughed a lot and loved dinner and two days later found the other Plan B in Simsbury and loved it too!

These are by far the best burgers weve had around Hartford. The burgers are hand formed and have a unique taste unlike many chains or local restaurants. There is typically a good amount of cheese on most cheese burgers and a generous portion of bacon on the bacon burger. The only downside has been the service....the waiters have not been that friendly or helpful when the order was wrong. Last time we went, I ordered a burger well done and when I cut into it the meat it was pink. When I had the burger sent back, the waiter took my fries off the plate. When he came back with the new burger, he did not replace them with new hot fries. I thought he left them behind so I would have something to much on while my wife was eating her dinner. Guess not.

The burgers are delicious and I cant think of anything in the area that can match their quality. Everything was fresh and their specials are fun and unique (the PB&J burger has to be my favorite). I wouldnt go too often though as the prices are a little on the high side. Beer selection is decent if youre looking for craft brews. The bar staff are far more attentive than the wait staff as well. If youre not at the bar dont expect drink refills, I tend to give up on a second drink because Ive finished my food before they stop by to check how everything is. Seating is very cramped and limited, when I went with my girlfriend we practically shared a date with the couple next to us as there was about a half an inch between tables.

Best burgers in CT- HANDS DOWN! The first thing that greets you inside is a glass wall with a ton of beer selections! Waiting to be seated, eyes glued to the list, your palette begins dreaming of all the great brews you want to try! Inside at first glance, the restaurant is filled with character! Its warm, fun, with a somewhat sophisticated feel. Next, the Menu is sure to get that palette salivating! Their beer selection is rivalled by the creativity and variety of the menu! You wont be disappointed! This is a great spot for bar lovers that want to take it to the next level. This is also a great first date destination! Bring someone that you want to get to know better and have a good time with- without overdoing it.

We have come here regularly for several years. Sometimes the wait is long. Sometimes the service is a little slow. But we love the menu. It is always a challenge to decide which of the many tasty burgers to choose from or whether we are going to order an entree (mac and cheese covered with BBQ chicken!) instead. My husband and I prefer all natural meats so this restaurant is a great option for us and the menu keeps us coming back. Oh and the Glastonbury location is even better! The cheese fondue appetizer with green beans, tator tots, apples, and soft pretzel bites is awesome. Plus, the options for sides is such a throw back to growing up - cheese covered fries, tator tots, green fries, etc.

Plan B West Hartford is the go-to date spot for my fiancé and I. The food is always great and cooked just to order, and their seasonal menu items always provide a refreshing new option. The service is never less than fantastic, even on the busiest of evenings. However, what we were most impressed by was our waiter, Brett D. His attention to detail could not go unmentioned as he truly made us feel like the only customers in the restaurant. I have yet to experience better service while dining. Kudos to Brett, I plan on asking to be sat with him in the future, even it it means waiting a few extra minutes!

Been here a thousand times as a West Hartford native. By far best happy hour around...3 dollars for a Slider??? 3 dollars for an IPA???? #Fuggedaboutit food is delicious (especially the burgers) and they have an extensive draft list. So if you ACTUALLY love Merica!!! Youll love this classic beer and burger joint. Ps. Parking seems worse than it is if you dont know the area. Street parking is available on the adjacent roads if everything on park rd itself is took up...dont worry never got a ticket ;)

West Hartford location review. Outstanding burgers cooked to perfection. Love that they give you the options of some pink or no pink when ordering to take out the mystery of what "medium rare" may mean to the grill Master. Decent variety of local and regional drafts and our server was courteous while we took our time ordering. Got the bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions. Fantastic flavor top to bottom, bun was strong and held up to the last bites. Go have a great time!

Didnt order drinks this time, but the Bacon Cheeseburger was literally the best burger Ive had in my life. I admittedly was a vegetarian as a child which means I have less burger experience but also Im less likely to like meaty things. And they are open late, we arrived just short of midnight, still had yummy food available. Server was also really charming (fast-paced in his speech though, yet still personable and not pushy).

Great food, and great atmosphere, awkward name. I am a celiac, so I LOVE that they have a dedicated fryer. We got the veggie burger with fries, and a side of onion rings. Everything came out great, but I was a little surprised they put american cheese on such a high quality product... I wish I substituted for Swiss or Jack. We also ordered the Blue Chips, and those were amazing. I would definitely come here again.

Plan B is more than a great Burger joint. Besides perfectly prepared burgers of every configuration with gourmet toppings, there is a creative small plate menu that makes Plan B a great place to stop for a quick bite. Their wings are among the best. They also have a well stocked bar and an ever changing list of craft and local beers on tap. Dining alone is never a problem at this cozy yet bustling bistro.
