Venice is often sporadic when it comes to flavor and service but what other choices do we have in Ridgefield? I often order the chicken marsala with spaghetti. Sometimes the chicken marsala is great and other times its lacking in flavor. Its almost like they switch chiefs back and forth and one of them doesnt know the recipe. The service is almost always bad. Half the time theres a language barrier or the server doesnt seem to care about their job. It still astounds me after living here for 9 years that we dont have outstanding restaurants in this town!

Its a great place, go there nearly once a week for past 3 years. The food is very yummy - they have very nice recipes, keep you going back. It can be light and healthy if you want it, which is what we like. The best thing about this place, and i think everyone agrees - is the people who run it and the staff who are the same - are just so warm and friendly and sincere - something you cant find much of these days. Very family friendly. Great prices by the way - casual dining, warm friendly atmosphere.

I like this restaurant so much better than 850 pizza in ridgefield, CT. The staff is so friendly, and the extensive menu makes for a great meal. The location is prime for an afternoon on the town. I can wash my dog next door, shop across the street at Kohls, get my grocery shopping done, and fill up on gas across the street. Beyond that, I can use my Venice coupons weekly at the restaurant. Ive never got a coupon at 850 before. Tragic! Overall, Venice pizza is a wonderful, family friendly place to eat.

I took my kids to dinner here last night, we were served two entrees instead of three, missing forks and then waited 17 minutes for the third entree which was nothing more than pasta with butter. The waitress apologized and said I would not have to pay for the pasta, which is severely overcharged at $7.95. No other gesture taken. There were four other tables so it was not like they were busy. My seven year old summed it up, we are NOT coming back here!

To me it was just average. My husband got stuffed shells which looked close to a Stouffer frozen meal. The sausage in the Cavettelli with broccoli rabe was boiled, not browned. Meh. They skimp with the bread, gave us 1 piece each. Cmon! Have had better.

folks. this is a pizza shop. forget the restaurant. you cant get better pizza in town, unless you want to travel about 15 minutes to the adjacent town. the service is sometimes sketchy because of the language barrier but the pizza is best in town.

Pepperoni slice and garlic knots were great. Ask for a tiny side of marinara with the knots if you like. Also good for dipping pizza crust at the end.
