We stumbled on this place driving back home to Philly from a wedding in Maine. Theres a pizza counter selling full pies and slices, and a little sit-down restaurant off to the side. All was fantastic, especially the eggplant parm and the margherita pizza. Best of all, the guy behind the counter -- by his interactions, Im assuming he was the owner -- was hilarious and very helpful. You could tell he had the old fashioned ideal of "building a business one customer at a time." He made sure wed be back the next time we drive by, and we will! To find it, look for the A&P off route 22 -- going north, its on the left. Mezzaluna is in the same shopping center, a few stores down.

I tried this place because I thought the reviewer from Queens knew what she was talking about. The pizza is ok but the food was not. I got the chicken parm thinking to keep it simple but it tasted average at best. I come from an italian background and am use to very good italian food so I might be a little more critical than most but I really did not think this place was as great as the reviewer made it sound.

I was doing laundry and was starving. I was in the mood for a salad since Ive been living on pizza lately. I went in, asked if they had salads, the owner suggested one and took great care of me. I was truly treated amazing. The compassion for customer service at this restaurant is the best, hands down! The Mezzaluna salad was absolutley fabulous! I cant wait to go again!!

I called in & the lady that answer said hello once and hung up, I called the second time and she took my order. Once the delivery got here, I looked at the receipt and it said $5 for buffalo chicken and about 1 and something for pepperoni. I called and asked why they charged so much and he said its because their chicken is expensive...

Do yourself a favor, when looking for Italian food in the Brewster area, order from Mezza Luna. The overrated italian restaurant just up the road, without fail, messes up every order, every time. Mezza Lunas pizza is comparable to any good pizzeria in The Bronx. I would recommend Mezza Luna, they will not disappoint.

The best place to eat in brewster. The staff is very friendly especially dominic. He makes the place light up. Food is great. Go and judge for yourself. One place that i will keep going. Keep it up guys. Dont run out of pineapple juice dominic. Haha. Lets not forget the owner he is a great guy.

I always go up to the shopping center because there is specific stores that I wanted to go in and decided to have a slice of pizza place is spotless clean the pizza was outstanding loved it absolutely will be coming back.......

I love Mezzaluna. The staff and owners are great. They make you feel like family because theyre so friendly! Its a very Mediterranean place in culture (at least for me thats important) the food is always great!!!
